Dick walked on the new legacy base. He was proud that Damian found himself a team he can trust. Him and starfire were extremely disappointed how the team treated his little brother. For god sake he may be a cold hearted assassin but still he is just a kid. That no one tried to get to know except Raven and Jon. It made him happy that he finally had true friends. Now only if his family would do the same. Jason works for a second chance since he heard Damian almost killed himself. Cassandra already has a connection with Damian. Stephine and Damian bicker like actual siblings. Tim oh man just avoid Damian like a plague thinking he will be killed for being robin. Babs Dick doesn't know what happened to make her hate Damian. Dick had a connection but he foolishly listened to the lies from Barbra and Tim which cost him to lose his little brother. He won't make that mistake again. Then there Alfred who became a true grandfather to Damian ever since he first came here. Last but least Bruce ever since Damian showed up he never once tried to get to know him. He always scolds, belittles and blames him for every mistake that happens. Dick feels like sometimes Bruce may hate Damian but doesn't show it. Hell he was already accusing Damian for killing someone when it was a Talon.

Dick walks in the living room and sees Crush and Jon wrestling for the remote. Aw man that took him back. He looks for Damian who is in the training room sparring with Mari.

"Watch the feet." dick called.

"What?" Mari said but got distracted and Damian's leg swept her. She landed on her butt.

"He said watch your feet." Damian said, he held out his hand. Mari grabbed it and pouted.
"Dad, you distract me."

"Sorry, sweetheart, mind if I talk to you , your uncle." Dick said. She nodded and left. She knows what this is about, and hopes they can mend their relationship.

"Is something wrong dick?" Damian asked. To tell the truth Dick was always his favorite which is why it hurt when he turned his back.

"Yeah, after hearing about what happened to you, and finding out everything was a lie by Tim and babs. After hearing about the suicde attempt it made me feel like an awful brother you know. You were my little brother. And I failed you by not listening, not talking to your side." Dick eyes watered a little. "It took a literal beating from star and a stern talking to by Alfred to open my eyes. Damian I'm sorry that I never took your side. Can you forgive me?" Dick asked. Damian thought about yes it hurt him that Dick betrayed him but was it really his fault.

"I have to admit it hurt me that you took their side." Damian started. "But it wasn;t really your fault. Drake and Gordon are good liars. So there is nothing to forgive." he smiled.

"So brother" dick smiled

"No," Damian said bluntly, "you were never a brother." made Dick frown a bit."You were more a father than Bruce ever was." Damian said with a smile. Dick has never been so happy to hear that.

"Thank lil D" Dick said as he grabbed Damian for a hug.

"No problems pops." Damian said hugging back
