hello! :_)

when i started hb, i already had plans to split it into two books just like what i did with hatemate. (some readers are aware of me considering having hb2!). but then, i scrapped the idea, not knowing where to actually split the book because this does not have a timeskip that hatemate conveniently had. on several times i have revisited the idea. but not actually having a concrete starting point, i had to discard it every time.

i know this story has been running for a long time now, and i think this is my longest-running story to date (but who cares? wala namang deadline), but i finally have my starting point so i am splitting this into two books now. i don't think that the format for the second book would be consistent, as for some reason i often feel like trying something new when it comes to these two (n & e), but it's definitely going to have chapters in narrative format. (sorry sa mga walang matinong attention span.)

pondering about this took me a while because when i choose a format, i would want to stick to it, which was why i refused to write paragraphs in chapters that have dialogue here. i had told myself that if i were to write paragraphs, might as well go all out and write it in narrative form. but for hb2, i would also be including parts in epistolary format, because i still see this as necessary. i would just stick to one format per chapter, and there would be no more dialogues. 

siyempre may trade-off! haha. with bylam on-hold, and with its last chapter published five months ago pa (sorry na—elias kasi e haha), i haven't done long-form creative writing for a long time now. it would take me (even) longer to finish chapters. 

i am not asking for your patience. what i am asking for is that if you do not have the patience, do not let me know. 

anyway,

i am splitting this into two books because it just feels right given the shift (although not completely) in format. with that said, i would have to unpublish some parts here because i would be transferring them (or altering them) to the second book. some of the updates on the second book would either be republished as-is (epistolary), or rewritten (narrative format) chapters from here. 

like always, i still do not know what i'm doing.
