Vortex was getting ready for bed, he passed by the tv in his room after brushing his fangs.

Then he washed his face thinking about the catastrophe at the party.

Then he shuts off the tv, lays in bed and closes his eyes.

But moments later, blitzo came bursting in startling vortex as he wakes up looking confused.

"RISE AND SHINE, you're finally awake good,  ow get dress, we're going somewhere" Blitzo throws his clothes his face..

"Where are we going?" Vortex pulls the shirts off and puts it on.

"We're going hunting" Blitzo holds up two guns.

Back at I. M. P. Everyone was watching the news, "THIS JUST IN. POP-STAR= VEROSIKA MAYDAY

"Serves her right, that b deserved to die, come on boy" Blitzo was passing through the room with a gun behind his back and behind him was vortex in hunting gear.

Basically: the sweater Blitzo made for him and a brown jacket, he carried the gun behind him.

Lonna was reading a magazine by the desk when she sees Blitzo and vortex getting ready for something.

"Let's see do we have everything: knife, binoculars, ammunition, energy bar, first aid kit, portable saw, water....and plenty of guns, ok we're ready now, Moxxie, open the portal"

"Where are you going?" Loona asked when Moxxie uses the book to open a portal to the human world.

"Me and Tex here are doing some father son bonding, we have a client who wants this hunter dead so we're gonna blow his brains out" blitzo cocks hai gun.

"What? But I thought you said we were going hunting" vortex asked.

"We are, we're gonna go to hunt this bad down and kill him" blitzo rubs his head.

"Why are you taking Tex with you" loona asked.

"Because this is a chance for us to bond as father and son"

"You know you been spending an awful time together" loona seemed angry as she crosses her arms.

"Aw now don't get jealous loony, I have time for both if my kids" Blitzo says.

"I'm not jealous" loona growls, "I just don't like how you spend time with Tex, it's do embarrassing"

"Well come on Tex I need a sniffer" then he pulls out a treat, "come get the treat"

But much to that it only annoyed loona even more, "do you have to so embarrassing-"

But much to her surprise, vortex jumps like a dog trying to get the treat.

"Go and get it" Blitzo throws it in the portal and vortex chases after it then blitzo follows behind.

"If we don't come back in 10 minutes, come get us, ok bye" Blitzo waved on time for the portal to close.

Loona slumped in her chair, glaring and growling then she gets smirking looks at Moxxie and Millie.

"WHAT!" She snapped.

"Oh nothing" Moxxie says.

"It's ok to be jealous sugar" Millie says,

"I'm not jealous"

"Sure you are" Moxxie says.

Then she slammed his fist on the table scaring him, "I'M NOT OK!"

Meanwhile on the other side, blitzo arrived in the woods with vortex who was munching on the dog treat.

"Good boy" Blitzo pats his head.

The two wander in the woods like in a horror movie, then up ahead, they see a cabin.

And in the cabin, a man in hunting gear was sitting on a pouch, rocking in his chair cleaning one of his guns.

The man was muscles, lean and a bit thin, very hairy, had a mustache and beard with a shirt trim,  wearing a hat with a toothpick in his mouth, he didn't look up.

Blitzo and vortex carefully stay hidden not wanting to be caught.

At first Blitzo looks at the man and carefully at the phong of the man he was supposed to hit, after carefully examining them both, he throws away the picture.

"Oh yeah we got him, there's our guy" Blitzo aims his gun directly at the target.

Vortex stands by in his human form to watch, he leans against the tree, looking around.

"Stand back Tex, it'll be like killing a bird"

But a thought came to his mind, "hey can I ask you something"

"Sure what is it but hurry"

"Why bring me? Why couldn't you get your other imps: Moxxie, Millie or even Chaz, why not them"

"Well I guess I just feel a little bad after you had to break up with your girlfriend"

"It want your fault but I guys you were right about her, I did the thing you told me not to do"

"Having an ex isn't easy, trust me I know"

"Yeah" the two of them frown a bit then something else came up.

"If I may ask, about yesterday when I found you curled up on the capuchin what really happened"

"Blitzo sighs, "so I went to follow Moxxie bad hai shark on their date then I decided to bring prince stolas as cover but then I was confronted by my old friend Fizzoralli and then everyone found out that I-that me and stolas...we-stolas and I are a thing"

"But doesn't he has a family" vortex asked.

"Yeah But I came over to his place to take his book, you know that book we used to get or the other side?"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah I took it form him and his wife would out I slept with him and then I was reminded...how I'm not but a immature, selfish imp bad that I'll only be alone, and then I realized me and stolas will be nothing more then-I was afraid that if me and stolas get too close people are just gonna judge us bad I was reminded how I'll always be alone"

"That's not true, you have me and loona and you know that if tho your real family is gone you still have us bad we'll always be there for you"

Blitzo smiled at him, then he went back to shooting the target.

"I know as long as I have my kids I know nothing can break that, I guess that's why I took you in, I know what's it like to be hurt"

But as blitzo was about to shoot, a chipmunk gets in his way, he panicked and missed.

"AH!"

The gunshot alerted the hunter as he saw the bullet was straight ahead in the woods.

"Hmm?" He narrowed his eyes deep in the woods.

"You ok?" Vortex asked.

"Yeah I'm now where were we" blitzo aimed his gun.

But then he gets shot right on the arm, "Ah!" Blitzo grabs his arm.

"Blitz!" Vortex panicked.

As vortex gets up, the shot came from the hunter, he looks up and smiled, then he heads to the woods to find them.

"Are you ok?" Vortex asked as he helps him.

"Yeah I'm fine, it was just a shot-ah" he winced as he grabs his arm.

Vortex moved his arm and he is horrid to see it bleeding a lot.

Worried gasped then he tears his shirt and wraps it around blitz arm.

He winced from the pain, "it was just a gunshot" blitz says.

"Yeah but form where?" Vortex asked.

Then they duck when a gunshot blasted at them and hit a tree.

"We got it run" vortex says.

The two of them ran, they hear the hunter running fast, getting closer, they get hit by tree branch trying to escape.

Then they fell down a steep, blitzo pushes vortex who almost landed on a bear trap.

They rolled down and vortex hits a tree blocking blitzo form any damage.

"You alright" vortex asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, AH!" But in fact blitzo wasn't, vortex held his arm gently and saw the blood still dripping.

Blitzo holds his arm then he started to look weak and pale, he was losing his balance feeling dizzy then he fell right before Tex caught him.

"You're not fine" Tex touched his head and felt him shivering.

You're cold"

Then he heard footsteps, panicked, he grabs blitzo covered his mouth and hides behind a tress as the hunter stealths carefully looking for them.

"Come on out!" The hunter shouts in a deep voice startling them, "don't think I won't find you....do you have any idea who you are dealing with"

"My guess is an experienced hunter who killed millions of wood animals for fun" blitzo stays, "or so that's what our client told us...yeah he killed his pets, he was a nice man"

"Well us waiting here isn't exactly a good idea, we need to get out of here before-" vortex carried blitzo bridal style before he gets trapped in a net dropping blitzo.

"AH!"

The sounds of their screams alarmed the hunter, he ran just as blitzo tries to get up.

"Blitzo, look out!" Tex open wide in fear before he watches the hunter coming through

The hunter gasped by seeing blitzo, "I don't know what you are" the hunter says as he opens up a sack, "but you're going on my wall" then the hunter naps bltizo.

"NO!" Vortex shouts, the hunter looks down at him.

"I'll be back for you later" the hunter says.

But after he left, vortex gets anger then he shifts to his hellhound form, he breaks free from the trap.

Meanwhile with loona, she waited patiently and so he n she started to worry.

"It's been over 10 minutes, something's wrong, I'm going in"

"It's so sweet you care about blitzo" Millie says.

"It's not blitz I'm worried about and I don't care about that him, I'm just concerned ok, I'll be back" she jumps through the portal.

She looks around calling for blitz and Tex, looking for both of them.

"Where did they go?" She wonders.

Then she gets grabbed, it was vortex he hides behind a tree covering her mouth and shushing her to keep quiet.

"What happened? Where's blitz?"

"He got shot badly and that hunter took him in his cabin"

"What!" Loona was horrified, then she ran to find him, "BLITZ!" She cried.

It started to rain, vortex ran after her, tears ran down her face as she remembered the day he adopted her.

She was just a pup in the hell hound adoption, she was scared and upset, she cried.

"Hello" then she heard someone and was started, she looks around and saw blitzo.

"Hey, it's ok, I can take you away from here, would you like that" he opens the cage.

She carefully approaches him but then she growls when he reaches out to pet her and backs away.

"Hey hey, it's ok, I'm not gonna hurt you"Frightened he sang for her, "If happiness was a tangible thing

She started to calm down and approached him.

He opens his arms out for her and she warms up to him which he picks her up and hugs her.

Meanwhile inside the cabin, Blitzø regains consciousness, his vision was blurry but he finds himself in the cabin in a room filled with dead animals mounted on the wall and blitzo was in the center of the room tied up to a chair.

Using his only strength left, he tries to break free, that's when he heard footsteps.

"Well looks who's awake" he looks up to see the hunter sharping his knife.

The two look at each other as the hunter pulls out his chair and faces it backwards staring directly at blitzo.

His signature grin has faded, replaced by a scowl, the human hunter, grizzled and determined, stands over Blitzo, holding a silver blade. His eyes narrow as he interrogates the demon.

"You're gonna talk, demon. Tell me where the portal leads."

Blitzo smirks at the hunter. His crimson eyes gleam.

"You think I'll spill secrets just 'cause you've got a fancy knife? Hell, I've been through worse."

"You don't know what I can do" The hunter was getting frustrated.

He clenches his jaw, clearly irritated by Blitzo's defiance.

"You think this is a game?" he growls. "I've been tracking your kind for years. You're not the first demon I've caught."

Blitzo leans forward, ropes digging into his skin. His eyes narrow.

"Yeah, well, I'm not your average demon," he spits. "I run a damn assassination business. You think I'm scared of a mortal with a knife?"

Loona and vortex were looking through the window.
- "Blitzo," she mutters.

The hunter steps closer, blade glinting. His eyes bore into Blitzo's.

"Last chance," he hisses. "Where's the portal?"

"Bite me" blitzo spits.

"Fine so be it" the hunter holds his knife up.

"Oh yeah well it just is happens I have a few tricks up my sleeve" he whistles.

Then as the hunter turns, loona came crashing through and she pounced on the hunter.

The hunter tires to slice her with his knife, and while loona dodges the knife distracting the hunter, vortex ran to blitzo.

He unties him and he carries him over his shoulders, "it's about time you got here" blitzo says but he was dizzy.

"Everything is gonna be ok but first we got to take care of these" he set blitzo on the kitchen table, then he takes out the first aid kit.

As vortex stitch up his paunch, blitzo had a sad look on his face.

"Fizz was right about me"

"What?"

"I am a selfish imp, I'm the reason-I hurt everyone and I might as will end up alone, after all I destroyed stolas family who know what I'll do next"

"That's not true blitz"

"Yes it is"

"No it's not, if it were I wouldn't be here right now"

"Huh?"

"I was in a toxic relationship with my owner and girlfriend but you helped me, you knew bee was bad and you took me away from verosika, you're more enough of a imp man that I ever met, and I guess having you as a dad is the best thing ever, and you're never alone you have loona, you have me, you have Chaz moxxie and Millie and we will never abandon you"

Blitzo looks up at vortex touched by his adopted son then he hugs vortex.

"If only I had more people in my life that are like you"

"But you do" vortex shows loona fighting the hunter, his lullaby plays for her.

"I'm gonna make a fur coat out of you" But before he could, blitz blast his head off clean with a gun.

"Back off form my kids you creep"

Vortex and loona stand by blitzo who drops the gun and collapses form exhaustion, but he was caught by vortex who throws him over his shoulder.

"Come on let's go get him home" loona pats blitzo back.

"This was the best hunting trip ever" vortex says.
