Keisuke woke up at 5 a.m., which was weird, considering it was a holiday and the fact that Keisuke would usually wake up at 8 or 9 if this was the case. His droopy eyes scanned his room, trying to take in what had caused him to wake up.

His answer came a few seconds later, when he heard the doorbell ringing.

He yawned tiredly, guessing that his mom was out to buy the groceries. Plus, knowing his sister and dad, they were probably still sleeping away in their bedrooms.

Deciding to go answer the door, he got up from bed and trudged to the shower, where his sleepy state soon flowed away like the water that hit his body. He then changed into his blue shirt, white pants and white socks before he went down to the door, where he slid his shoes on then opened the door.

He blinked.

A cute bear-like nekomata was standing outside.

"Erm, excuse me, who are you?" Keisuke was struggling to understand why a YOUKAI was here, ringing a DOORBELL of all things.

"I'm here to talk to you Keisuke!" the bear smiled at him.

Keisuke blinked, "Huh? What are you talking about? ME? Not Neechan?"

The bear shook its head, "Amano Keisuke, a 5th-grader in elementary. Sister is Amano Natsume, father is Amano Keita, mother is Amano Fumika, and friends are Tsukinami Touma, who you secretly admire-" Keisuke looked away at this, "Arihoshi Akinori, and Himeno Ayame."

"How do you know all this?" Keisuke asked, the alarms in his head already ringing like crazy.

"I've been watching you for a while now Keisuke," the bear confessed. "I've been waiting for the right time to tell you something VERY VERY important."

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Keisuke tilted his head.

"It's a long story. You'll have to come with me if you want it."

Keisuke frowned. He was a bit wary, but he found himself getting curious, so he just nodded in agreement.

"Great! Take my hand!" the bear held out its hand.

Keisuke reached out as well, but something made him waver for a while.

Why did this bear wait so long to approach me? Could it have bad intentions with me?

He worried that his sister would come look for him.

But a part of him was still curious over the important thing this bear had for him, and not for his sister.

His much more amazing sister.

That's why he took the bear's hand, a bit excited.
