ruby and jasper (the gems ppl label as dudes most often) still have feminine builds. nontraditional builds, but feminine regardless. the shoulders are level with the hips. that's a trademarked female characteristic

if they turn out to be female ill take this back but,,hey, i do know a little about anatomy  (despite what my art implies) and this is what i think lol. seems unlikely but im holding onto this theory
