They bombered her with question but didn't get any answer,that's when they noticed Nandini & Manik looking at eachother. Mukti nudged Cabir to see this when they decided to leave Manan alone for sometime.

Cabir stood up when Nandini's trance broke & she looked at Cabir at once feeling guilty for ignoring them "Woh bhai,,I'm .. I'm sorry woh .. Woh main.."

"Sshhh bunny,, we've some work right now,tum dono batein karo we'll be back" Cabir said caressing her head.

"Right now,you guys need to comfort eachother,take you time Choti" Mukti said and everyone left after hugging Nandini.

Nandini now went near Manik who was still sitting on the couch looking nowhere.

She knew he was scared !!!

Scared beacuse of her !!!

She knew he was scared from the beginning when he came to know that her father is back !!!

She knew he pretended  like nothing happened just to make her strong !!!

He needed assurance too !!

Assurance;that she's alright !!!

With him !!!

Right now !!!

Standing next to him !!!

All fit n fine !!!

"Manik..." Nandini sat with the support of her knees infront of Manik.

Manik looked at her.

His eyes speak !!!

He doesn't need words to express !!!

His one glance & she knows the talks of his heart !!!

"Kuch bolo bhi... I'm right here baby safe and sound. Maine usse bhaga diya dekha Na tumne?? Dekha Na Ki how much strong your Nandini has become ??" Nandini said looking at him,her cheeks wobbled,her nose was red.She's trying to act normal.

He chuckled on her words.

"I saw it all Nandini,,Maine yeh bhi dekha how you broke down,,Maine dekha the rage in your eyes,how much painful it was for you bachha,,I saw it all !! But I was not there to comfort you ... You made it all alone !!? Kya itni strong hogaya mera beta ??!!"  Manik said cupping her cheek in his palm.

Nandini nodded in negative & then positive with a pout.

Manik again chuckled seeing her antics.

"He was spying on us !!" Her words alerted him.But didn't say anything as he let her complete whatever she has to say.

"He was threatening me to get money for him otherwise he'll harm you.He even said that you were coming jab Ki woh mere samne tha toh kaise keh sakta hain confidently tum aarahe the college and then he gave me phone and yes he was right you were coming but i stopped you which he didn't expect and then he snatched the phone.. Manik pata Nei mujhe Kya hogaya that i wanted to rip his head off his body !!! Usdin ki saari baatein yaad agayi Manik ,,how much pain my mommy had to go through!! And now he dared to even think of harming you !!? How dare he.. Maine mommy ko kho diya but I can't loose you Manik.Maar jaungi main tum Na ho toh. Lekin iss baar I won't let him win .. I'll dig his grave,,I'll kill him !! No one can harm you Manik ,,I'll finish everything" She cried,she gritted her tooth out of anger,she pleaded.

But Manik looked at her disbelievingly.

His Nandini can't be like this !!!

"Nandini..." He called her but she was blabbering only one sentence-

"I'll kill him agar woh tumhe kuch karne ka soche bhi toh !!"

"Bachha".... He again called.

"I won't leave him..."

"Nandiniiii..." This time Manik called loudly holding her both shoulder tightly to which Nandini looked at him blankly.

He without wasting a second hugged her,caging her in him.Not letting her utter a word more.Nandini first few minutes struggled to get out of his hold but eventually gave in crying bitterly.He kissed her temple.

Manik was still shocked to see her like this!! His tears betrayed him as he too cried with her.

"He won't be able to do anything right ??" She asked hiccuping.

"Sshhh bachha !!! Koi kuch bhi nei kar payega kyun Ki my baby has become strong,I'm here with you.., bass now sshhh" Manik patted her head.

He sat on the couch taking her in his lap where she snuggled into him.After few minutes She looked at Manik still sitting on his lap where Manik too looked at her.

She traced every feature of his face while he did nothing but observing her.She stopped when her fingers were on his lips.Instead of her fingers;she traced his lips with hers to which Manik's grip on her waist tightened.She softly holds his lower lip with her teeth and Manik suppressed his groans as he didn't feel it was the right situation but his this move went wrong when Nandini after not getting any response from him bites his lip a little harshly.Manik knew she needed this,she needed him,by her side,with her.

She wanted to make sure of his presence,she wanted to show how much he means to her,the fear,the anger,the pain she was holding needed release.

After exploring,letting him explore; they broke the kiss but Nandini put her head on his heart while humming a song,playing with his fingers.And Manik was silently observing her,he could guess the song which she was humming.

"If I did anything right in my life,it was when I have my heart to you"

Once her voice became meek,her toying with his fingers became uneven & her breathing became normal;he understood that she's sleeping.

Just then the door slowly opened and he knew who it could be as no one else other than fab4 have the guts to come without knocking.

"Cabir,,Nand,,Nandini... She was... She." Manik fumble with words when Cabir sat next to him keeping his hand on his shoulder.

"Manik,,I heard everything when I was coming to inform you about Something !!! Manik mere bhai,maat soch jo Tu soch raha hai ,, waise kuch Nei hai!! Pyaar sirf taakat deta hai,,and your love has made her a strong girl. When her mother died just imaging she had to go through everything alone,,koi Nei tha uske saath to share her pain,anger,fear. Aur aaj jaab her father came again,,all those pains,fears,anger everything revived and this is the result,but now she has you,she has us;she knows that whatever happens we'll be there to protect her and that's why she got the guts buddy" Cabir said very lowly so that Nandini doesn't get up.

"Friends are connected heart to heart"

Cabir's words worked like magic on Manik.

"Thanks bro,I couldn't have handled this without you.. I'll heal her and That bloody jerk will have to pay for every single tear escaped from Nandini's eyes for him. I'll bury him feets under the ground." Manik's revenge for making his soul suffer.

Cabir nodded his head as they all are with him.In the mean time Fab3 entered with Navya,who was shocked to hear all this as she wasn't aware of anything.

"Guys stay with Nandini ,, I'll be back." Manik said and went outside to meet Thom and Ben.

Conference Hall

"Sir he was there when we checked the college after dropping Nandini,,but unfortunately we couldn't recognise him as he was dressed as a peon" Thom said to which Manik looked at him at once.

"Where the fuck were you when he took Nandini??" Manik's voice echoed in the conference hall.

Thom felt guilty for his move & said "Sir I went to check the footage when someone said that the peon was new in the college,it stroke me then that it might be Mr.Murthy.Right then Nandini came outside.I'm at fault sir,I know apology won't help"

Manik understood the situation;So,he didn't argue further.

"Ben where's that man right now!!?" Manik asked to the security chief.

Ben brought a device out of his pocket and checked "Sir he's at the construction side where you're making that hospital for Nandini Mam' s late mother"

"Let's get going !!!" Manik immediately said and walked near the door buttoning his suit.

Construction Side

"Mr.Narendra Murthy..." His voice stopped Mr.Murthy from drinking the further sip of alcohol.

He turned and looked at him for few minutes where Manik stood hands in pocket with the deadly smirk on his face.

"Manik Malhotra,the business tycoon,the youngest business sensation,the world famous band Fab5'd lead singer !!!  But wait a minute what made you choose a girl like Nandini !!?? A mere fucking orphan !!?" Mr.Murthy said casually but his casualty didn't last long as the next second he was struggling to breath.

Manik held his neck with his one hand making him choke.

"You peace of shit !!! How dare you ??!! She's not orphan you bloody bastard. She has everyone in her family !!! Don't you even dare to utter a single wrong word against Nandini" Manik said gritting his tooth.

Mr.Murthy laughed.Shameless creature  !!!

He slowly detached his neck from Manik's hold & walked a little forward.

"You know right I'm his legal Gurdian!! I'm her family !!?" Mr.Murthy said with a smirk.

"You're a curse for her,you can never be her family" Manik was spitting fire from his eyes.

"I'm her nightmare" Mr.Murthy said laughing evilly.

"I'm her dreams,her protector." Manik too smile but warmly.

"I won't let her be happy !!" Mr.Murthy.

"I will destroy even the ray of  unhappiness from her life." Manik said.

"I'll ki...." Mr.Murthy couldn't complete as Manik again grabbed  his neck-

"Don't!!! Don't you fucking dare say that !!! I'll dig you right into this and trust me not even God can find a single drop of blood of yours....Ill break each bone of your body and let the hounds have their feast.You'll beg but no one will help you to even drink a single drop of water.I promise you that." Manik ignored the red face of Mr,Malhtra which was caused by Manik's death grip on his neck.

His tongue came out as it was getting suffocated for him to breathe,Manik's hold was that tight.Every move of Mr.Murthy trying to freed his neck from his grip,His grip becomes more tighter.

"Nandini Ki taraf aankhein utha k bhi dekhne ki himmat ki toh I swear you'll regret every breath of yours" Manik was way too angry.

Thom,Ben stood there silently enjoying as they knew they're on leave when Manik Malhotra is on duty.

Manik left him when his phone rang,he took the phone immidiately as it was Nandini.

"What's wrong bachha ?? Aap uth kyun gayi !!??" Manik asked holding the phone with one hand & holding Mr.Murthy's collar with other.

"Mani,Kaha Ho tum?? Kyun chale gaye mujhe bataye bagair?? I'm coming with bhai !! Kaha Ho batao" Nandini complained.

"Achha,you wanna come ?? Ok,but give the phone to your bhai.." Manik said lovingly and she gave it to Cabir.

"Cabir bring her here..." He said and Cabir said Okay and hung up.

"You never know how strong you're Untill being strong is the only choice you've"
