₊❏❜ ⋮ ⌒ SEVEN KIDS ... all ranging from the age fifteen to nineteen all sat around a large wooden circular table. There were water classes in front of them, some more empty than others, and some were still full to the top.

More than most held a smile on their face, and the ones who didn't held an expression that mimicked a child nervous on on their first day of school.

One with brown hair, mixed with some blond on the top of his curly head. He was rocking back and forth on the back legs of the wooden chair, his hands stuffed into his jacket pockets. Inside their left pocket was a package of smokes and a lighter, inside the right pocket was nothing but the few rings he had taken off his hand.

On the chair next to him was a woman with a beautiful red coloured hair. It flowed past her shoulders with grace, it was straight and throughout her hair was shimmers from the natural light. She fiddled with a lose thread of the t-shirt she wore. She kept her chair still, choosing not to rock back and forth on it like the person beside her.

Beside the woman with red hair, sat someone else. He had a blue hoodie on, the hood pulled up over his head. The hair that peeled out from his hood was dark, almost black. His eyes were focused on the table in front of him as he fiddled with a taser in his pocket. He didn't actually start it up, well not to the point that it would start buzzing.

Next up was a girl, her long black hair pulled into two pig tail braids, her bangs covering her forehead. A smile twisted on her red lips, she looked around the group wide eyed. She looked young, happy, sweet and kind, she couldn't be much older than fifteen. Even though she wasn't rocking back and forth on her chair like a few others, her little legs were swinging back and forth. Her painted nails drummed against her thighs to the melody she was humming.

On to the next, whoever was seated beside the young girl looked calm and relaxed. There wasn't a smile on his face, but there wasn't a frown either. His brown hair was slicked back, a small piece or two sticking out in front of his ears. His brown eyes were cast forward, darting between his hands neatly placed on the table and the posters hung on the wall.

A young boy sat bouncing in his seat. He was having a hard time staying still, not that it mattered. His light brown hair flowed nicely, looking like he had just shaken out his head of hair. The smile on his face was prominent, large and full of happiness. His eyes though, they held a hidden emotion of nervousness. He fiddled with a red crayon that was tucked into his pocket.

Lastly, was a person with short curly brown hair. Big brown eyes that wondered around the room with excitement. They didn't hold a smile, but every time someone seemed to glance their way, a smile found its way onto her lips, like magic. Hands were placed in the pockets of a cream coloured cardigan, deep at the bottom were some random things that tended to be fiddled with.

    "Hello."

The group of seven whipped their heads around towards the door, the door that had just been opened and where someone just walked through.

"I'm Edmond, your president. And this is Jason, the brain behind project hero."

The teenagers just stared. Most held wide eyes as they looked at the two people standing amongst them now. Everything felt much more real.

"We're here to tell you that you've been accepted into the project."

And that, those words were enough to send the group of seven into a happy mess. They all had been selected, and now they were on the way towards becoming heroes.

    "Congratulations, heroes."

And without any training, nothing but some basic necessities, the seven were being readied to be thrust into a world they weren't ready for.

    "We hope you succeed."

A sick smile made its way onto the older man's wrinkled face.

"Because if you don't, you fail."
