This cover took quite the toll on my time in creating the design because everything on the cover was entirely hand-drawn! Plus it's been over two months since I updated this, so I hope this pretty design can cover up the wait!

Vector covers aren't really my strong suit, let alone creating a neon city aesthetic when it comes to designing but this one was worth the shot. Gladly, I had just the right tutorial on my phone to follow and the rest was just the flow of the process!

I just had to create blocks for buildings, create the windows and place them in perspective, dab some highlights and glows everywhere and finally the silhouette of the girl standing on the mesh wiry thing (honestly even I don't know what that's supposed to be, but that's what they drew in the tutorial, so...) and I came to the 'voila' stage!

The requestor wanted a neon city aesthetic while maintain an urban-fantasy vibe, hence why those two swirly magic thingamabobs are in here! And if you look closely enough at the silhouette, the girl's got horns! Apparently she's an Oni (a Japanese mythical demon) holding a katana overseeing the bright city! Hope I got that right! 

I just can't stress how much I'm in love with the windows of those buildings! Gosh! Did I even draw them?
