"Okay chat, I'll pick truth for now." Hiccup spoke into the camera; Astrid was cradled on his lap with one arm draped over his shoulder as they both watched the screen in anticipation.

It had originally been Astrid's idea for this particular stream, to spend an hour chatting with the fans and playing truth or dare, allowing the chat to decide what they do. Ultimately, it seemed like a terrible idea, but that's what modders were for. They filtered out the disgusting, perverted requests and kept in the more light-hearted friendly requests. Astrid's dares were always the ones open for manipulation and disgusting bigotry, but Hiccup always tried to keep a level head and ignore their insistent remarks for Astrid to show her beauty.

But that didn't stop him from getting jealous of all these horny fans begging to see more of his girlfriend's beauty. That type of show was just for him to see.

"We've got some good suggestions," Astrid chuckled as she read one particular question about Hiccup's 'shoe' size and another about Hiccup's 'performance'. Both of which made Astrid giggle, because she knew they would make Hiccup flustered. "Most of which Hiccup will not be answering."

Hiccup smiled, glancing at Astrid as her eyes remained glued to the screen. His eyes lit up with love as her smile brightened her face and her light chuckles filled the peaceful air of the room. For a moment, Hiccup wanted to pull Astrid closer, to grip her face in his hand and kiss her passionately, to feel her body pressed up against his and to prove his love for her. Sometimes, just the sight of her smile made Hiccup go crazy for his girlfriend, the girl who was way out of his league.

"Okay, here's one that's PG enough for the stream," Astrid announced, hovering the mouse over one comment, in particular, to highlight it before it disappeared. Hiccup watched as Astrid enhanced it and showed it to Hiccup with a beaming smile, one that Hiccup couldn't help but return when the question registered in his head as English words.

Meeting each other's eyes for a moment, they both burst out into a chuckle.

"Okay, the question Ast had chosen is this..." Hiccup paused for a moment as he adjusted his seat on the chair, pulling Astrid closer and more firmly into his lap. "When did you first meet?" Astrid smiled, recollecting the memory of that day when she had met Hiccup for the first time.

"I remember," Astrid answered wistfully, her eyes glossed over with that glimmer of happiness that Hiccup loved so much. Unable to help himself, he kissed her shoulder and smiled back.

"I know what day you're thinking of. But that's not when we first met." A look of confusion fell over Astrid's features upon hearing Hiccup's confession, a devious smile spreading over his lips as he noticed Astrid's puzzled expression. "What Astrid is thinking of, is when we first officially met and I had an actual conversation with her for the first time. However, that was not when we first met, and that conversation had been a very well-rehearsed encounter by me after having met you about..." - Hiccup thought for a moment - "3 months earlier." Astrid's confusion only deepened as Hiccup's recollections were revealed.

"We met before that convention?" Astrid asked curiously, racking her brain desperately for any encounter with a man with strikingly attractive emerald eyes, and a mop of brown hair that she had been desperate to sink her hands into. But no man came to mind, just an endless crowd of mindless faces that bared no similarity to Hiccup in any way.

Hiccup nodded proudly.

"3 months before I worked up the courage to speak to you and eventually ask you out, which – by the way – I actually didn't expect you to say 'yes' to, let alone have you be my girlfriend." Hiccup chuckled nervously, "Anyway, before that convention, I saw you at The Berserker Comic Con." Astrid's eyes widened slightly, "Now, I can't even try to guess who you were at that point, but it wasn't what you looked like that drew me to you, it was how you interacted with the people." Astrid felt her breath hitch upon Hiccup's words, whilst a dreamy sparkle cast itself over Hiccup's eyes. "There was a small kid in particular that you took photos with that made me want to know you. He must have only been seven or eight years old, and he bounded up to you with so much energy and life that you smiled at him in a way that lit up the entire hall we were in. You picked him up and held him tight as his mother took a picture of the two of you together. You treated him like an equal, like your friend, and smiled at him in a way that I wished it was me that you were smiling at." Hiccup chuckled again, his head shaking at how pitiful he must look in front of the camera like this, spilling his heart out to the woman he loved in front of thousands.

"Hiccup..." Astrid's voice was breathless, barely audible above Hiccup's raging embarrassment at leaving himself so vulnerable.

"Anyway, I thought of approaching you, asking you for a photograph, but the best I ever achieved that day was purposefully bumping into you and helping you pick up the papers you had dropped... Just to touch your hand or meet your eye. Yet, I managed neither. Instead, I vowed to visit every comic con and gaming convention in the hope that I might see you again and finally work up the courage to meet you properly."

"Hiccup," Astrid brushed Hiccup's cheek and turned him to face her. The expression on her face was one that Hiccup struggled to decipher, and usually he could read her pretty well, but as she held his face in her hands, he had no idea what was going through her head.

"What?"

"You went looking for me?" Astrid asked, confused and curious. She waited for his gentle nod as he avoided her gaze. "Despite who I was dressed as?" Astrid added with a chuckle, shaking her head at Hiccup's lovesick efforts.

He shrugged, a small smile dusting over his lips.

"How was I supposed to know? I only went there as a favour for a friend." Hiccup admitted, then turned back to the camera on his computer setup. "Not to say that all Comic Con's are bad, they're not. I actually really enjoy going, especially with Astrid when she dresses up. She always looks beautiful. No matter who she plays." Hiccup admitted, sneaking a glance at Astrid's light blush beginning to dust her cheeks at his compliment. "Okay, so I told you my truth, now it's your turn, m'lady."

Astrid thought for a minute before finally settling on a decision, "I'll choose dare."

"Oooh, spicy." Hiccup chuckled, unsure whether his joke would land. "Now, guys." Hiccup addressed the camera with a serious expression. "Let's be clean, alright? I will not accept any perverted or disgusting dares. Let's keep things PG, okay?" Hiccup warned carefully, making sure that his point went across clearly.

Although he was certain there would be one sick jokester who would try and find a way past the censors.

"Alright, easy there, cowboy." Astrid soothed, stroking a calming hand through Hiccup's auburn locks.

She always enjoyed breezing her hands through Hiccup's hair, feeling the soft fibres of his hair slip through her fingers. When she needed something to ground her, to calm herself when tensions got hot, she imagined running her hands through Hiccup's hair, knotting her fingers between the strands of hair as though they might pull her back down to earth.

"Oh, here's a good one." Hiccup announced, catapulting Astrid out of her stupor and back into reality. She turned back to the computer and saw the dare written across the screen. "Cosplay as one of Hiccup's favourite characters as best as you can and show him on camera." Hiccup chuckled, certain that Astrid wouldn't surprise him and pick the one outfit that she knew he loved the most.

However, Astrid had another thought in mind. Smiling devilishly to herself, she looked between the screen and Hiccup's confident expression. It was an expression she was determined to wipe off.

"Alright then, I'll show you something new," Astrid announced, preparing to dismount herself from Hiccup's lap. "It's something I was saving for a later date, but I suppose now is as good a time as any." Astrid finished, leaping from Hiccup's lap and dashing out of the room.

Hiccup frantically wrapped his brain for whatever cosplay she had in mind for this particular challenge. He had seen most of her outfits before, many having been checked by him before allowing her to wear them in public, although Astrid did have to talk him down from banning several outfits. Astrid was just one of those people who loved to dress up, and if that meant showing off more of her body than Hiccup would like, then Astrid didn't mind. So long as she pulled off the look, she didn't mind how it turned out.

Whether it be looked upon as too sexual or too flamboyant, Astrid took pride in her work. Which is why Hiccup was curious to see what cosplay she was about to present to him.

She seemed to suggest that it was one that she had been preparing for a while, possibly as a surprise gift for him when it was his birthday or for another milestone. Was there an anniversary he was forgetting? Hiccup didn't think that could be the case and shook the thought from his mind.

"Are you ready?" Astrid called back into the room, her voice carrying through the door which had remained closed since she had left.

Hiccup hadn't realised that it had been about five minutes since Astrid had left, and he had been completely silent the entire time. He had been too busy lost in his thought, and his own swirling emotions to have spoken to chat in a coherent way. Now, he was having to hastily prepare himself for a reveal that he had no idea was being prepared for him. Hiccup wasn't sure how well he was going to handle this reveal, and he just hoped that he wouldn't be judged for the protective way he looked at his girlfriend.

But when your girlfriend was Astrid Hofferson, a man had to take precautions.

"Ready! I think..." Hiccup trailed off, waiting for Astrid to open the door and appear before him.

"Turn around and close your eyes." Hiccup sighed at Astrid's request, holding his hands up to his face and facing the door. He had no idea what to expect, nor what Astrid had planned, but the swell of nerves in his stomach didn't like it too much.

"Okay, I have my eyes closed." Hiccup called out, hearing the distinct sound of the door opening.

Astrid smiled at Hiccup's covered face, his childish response to her request bringing a blush to her cheeks as she tried her best to remain in character. After all, it wasn't just about the clothes, it was the whole character's personality. She couldn't laugh, nor could she smile, no matter how cute Hiccup acted in front of her.

In the background, Astrid could see the chat on the stream going absolutely wild. It was clear that her outfit was a success and that the chat absolutely loved the way it looked, possibly understanding the reference – even if Astrid had made a few adjustments to the design to better flatter her body type.

When Astrid had first heard about Hiccup's favourite female video game character, Astrid wasn't sure what to expect. However, when she finally looked up her name, it wasn't hard to deny why. The woman looked very similar to how Astrid looked in her cosplay outfits, except that this character was much more beautiful than Astrid could ever hope to be. But when she had been planning this surprise, this was the first character to pop into her mind and she knew that Hiccup would lose his mind at seeing her dressed up like her.

Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, better known as Ciri, from The Witcher game series.

Astrid always enjoyed dressing up as strong female characters, and from the images of her online, Astrid knew that this must be what Ciri was, but she couldn't be certain. But from the way that Hiccup chose her as his favourite female character, Astrid knew there must have been a certain feature to her personality that Hiccup favoured.

But that didn't matter.

Astrid leaned towards Hiccup, her face inches away from his covered face. Before removing his hands from his face, Astrid turned to the computer and gave them a sly wink and flirtatious smile, then turned to Hiccup and slowly removed his hands. Keeping his hands in her hold, she watched Hiccup's expression morph between emotions, a thousand thoughts racing through his head as he took in the beauty of his girlfriend wearing the clothes of his favourite video game character.

Hiccup became breathless as his heart leapt into his throat. Nothing could have prepared him for this sight.

"Well?" Astrid asked, still leaning over him and capturing his gaze in a devilish stare. "What do you think, my love?" Her voice sank a few octaves, giving her this sultry edge to her words and completely melting Hiccup's heart.

But it also heightened something else.

Turning his chair quickly enough to cause Astrid to stagger back slightly, Hiccup closed the stream without another word to the chat and made sure no one could see them. Before Astrid could even muster up a confused rebuttal to his actions, Hiccup grabbed her wrist and dragged her over to the nearest empty desk space, lifting her up onto its surface.

Astrid giggled at Hiccup's antics and smiled at the dark lust clouding his eyes. She softly wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned her head against his forehead. Hiccup breathed her in, just enjoying the feeling of Astrid in his arms, dressed as a delectable character from a game series he cherished close to his heart.

"Do you like my surprise?" Astrid asked, keeping the same sultry as before. Hiccup licked his lips as his hands settled upon Astrid's hips and tugged her closer, closing the gap between their bodies.

"You drive me crazy, baby." Hiccup managed to utter before capturing Astrid's lips in a bruising kiss. A passion that Astrid was more than happy to return.

Driving her boyfriend crazy like this was something that she should do more often, Astrid thought to herself as Hiccup devoured her body in lustrous kiss after kiss.
