Camila Rose

The main character of the story.

Camila leaves a letter for her husband, Peter, along with a pair of red high heels behind, the same ones that she wore on their wedding. Out of fear of being abandoned due to her illness, she takes the first step to leave the house to get treatment for her melanoma without telling him.

Peter Wilson

Camila's husband. Peter works as a construction worker, handling heavy machinery in construction sites. Upon discovering that his wife has left the house and abandoned him without telling him of her illness. He desperately seeks for his wife.

Daisy Rose

Camila's older sister and Peter's sister-in-law. She recently discovers the news of her sister's sudden evanescence. She is adamant in finding her sister, until her husband, Paul receives a call from Camila herself.

Paul Davis

Camila's brother-in-law and Daisy's husband. Despite his gruff tone, snarky attitude and sense of humor, he's a loving grandfather, a caring father to Dinah, and likes scary stories.

Lilly Nguyen

Camila's former college roommate and her best friend. She let's Camila stay in her house until she finds her own place to rent. Lilly takes Camila to a clinic after she found her unconscious in the bathroom and contacts one of her associates to check on Camila's condition.

Rachel Collins

Lilly's daughter and Marcus's older sister. Currently in her last year of highschool while she tries to get her grades up in order to pursue a career as a marine biologist and to be able to stay with her dad during the weekends. She is fond of marine life like the sea anemonies, corals, crustaceans, orcas, and jellyfish among other sea creatures.

Marcus Collins

Lilly's son and Rachel's younger brother. Currently in 8th grade, barely keeping his grades up, he sneaks out of the house to visit his friends and his father whenever he has the chance. He wasn't happy about his parents' divorce nor the fact of the court restraining the shared custody between his parents like some legal contract, especially his stepmother. His current hobbies are gaming, listening to music, skateboarding, driving around town, and hanging out at the gym.

Dinah Davis

Daisy's daughter, currently investigating the recent thefts, shootings and carjackings occuring around town. When she discovered the news of her aunt's battle with cancer, she gives her support, then pursues the chase of a stolen vehicle.

Paul, despite not being her biological father, encouraged her to become a cop.

Michael Matthews

Dinah's oldest son, Daisy's grandson, and one of Camila's nephews. A 12-year-old boy who is staying in his grandparents' house due to his mother's profession as a police officer. He's a bit of a jokester like his grandpa, and likes to play volleyball, basketball, soccer, skateboarding and gaming.

Gabriel Matthews

Dinah's youngest son, Daisy's grandson and one of Camila's nephews. An 8-year-old boy who is staying in his grandparents' house due to his mother's profession as a police officer. He likes playing playing videogames, board games, puzzles, action figures, toy cars and Transformers.

Daniel Davis

Paul's cousin who is only mentioned.

Oscar Oppenheimer

This medical professional is one of Lilly's contacts. He comes across with Peter along the way, and Camila one way or the other. To his rotten luck, he gets dragged into the drama when Peter crashed Oscar's white Mitsubishi on the road while the doctor just wants to go home. Peter, desperately seeking for his wife, asks for his help.

Oscar accepted to help him in exchange for Peter to pay for the damages of his vehicle. Just when he thought that the search for this missing woman had gone stale, he meets Peter's wife personally. Oscar gets captivated by Camila's beauty, now understanding Peter's desperation and Camila's disease.

Torn with informing Peter of Camila's whereabouts and his growing attraction towards Camila. The relationship of the separated spouses were in his hands, to bring them closer or to keep them apart.
