Me, Kohta Hirano, Shizuka Marikawa, Saya Takagi, Rei Migamoto, Saeko Busujima and Alice Maresato, with our dog, Zero p, on her legs, were driving down a road, there were not really any of "them" or infected about, and we found that as strange.

"Hmmm, I wonder where we are going ?" Said Shizuka, "I thought we spoke about this, there are a few military compounds and even an airfield in this area, so we will head there to see if we can get help or find some more guns and ammunition, and I haven't seen any infected around, that's either really good or bad" I said, I go back to the night before, we stopped off near a smashed army truck, there was a map of military bases in the area, and we haven't seen any military units since just after the outbreak.

"We could stop soon, I have been driving for hours and I need to stretch my legs" said Shizuka, then Saeko agreed, "we should, the sooner, the better" she said, holding her katana close. We saw a small slip in the road and stopped there, me and Hirano looked about, I held my shotgun steady, but we saw nothing, and Hirano would keep an eye out from the Humvee, Saya got out, "Come on, we don't have all day" she said, "okey, but I'm so tired" said Shizuka, how is it that she is the only adult and that we make the smart decision.

Soon, we moved again, but Saeko killed a lone Infectedd before we left, it was the only reason we moved, "the outbreak happened 7 weeks ago, I wonder if there is any military units left, I just don't see a government still in control anymore" I said, "hey, if we do see a base, and it isn't full of 'them', could we salvage its armoury if we can ?, we do need all the ammunition and even some better guns soon, heck, I would love some combat boots." Said Hirano, smiling at the thought of new weapons, "sure, we cou...." "WE'RE HERE !" Shouted Shizuka, cutting me off.

We saw it and drove to the fence, it had a runway, a couple of hangers and a couple of main buildings, but it was strange, the place was clean, no blood, bodies or infected insight, 'maybe they haven't got this far ?' I thought, we didn't see any guards either.

"Strange, we should see guards, if not, then even some infected would be walking about, or something, maybe this place was cleared out, like... All the soldiers just left to deal with the crisis or abandoned the base" said Saya, "that's an ideal situation" said Saeko.
"Errr... Not to ruin this idea, but I think this base is still occupied" said Rei, then we saw what she meant, there was a guy standing in the middle of the road, behind the gate, he was wearing some uniform that didn't look like our Japanese forces, "let's see if he is friendly" said Saeko, the Shizuka drove on, slowing down a bit, we stopped about ten metres from the gate, "that uniform... I think I've seen it before...." Said Hirano, but I ignored him and got out, this guy had a gun in his arms, I left my weapon in the Humvee, then got a better look at him, he didn't raise his gun, so that means he isn't the shoot on sight, type of soldier, he looked me over, then the Humvee, he looked back to me.

"Who are you ?" I asked, he replied "just a soldier guarding his post, if your looking for help, you wouldn't find it here, I'm the only guy in this base, everyone else has either gone AWOL or... Died, what do you want ?" He asked, "we drove here to find safety, please.... We just need a couple of nights, we been fighting the infected for weeks" I said.

Everyone got out of the car, "hmm, you don't look threatening..." He said, looking to his left, then moved his gaze back to us, "I don't think my command would like this, yet they either bugger'd off or died, so... I'll let you guys in, but just you lot..." He said, then unlocked the gate, we drove our Humvee into the area and he closed the gates, then pointed to a building, "got over to that block there, I'll join you there" he said, the building has about a mile away, we were about to ask if he wanted a lift but he ran off to the building, he was quick, by the time we got to the building, he was waiting outside, he lead us through the halls to two double doors, "here, you can sleep, I wouldn't lock you up, I doubt you would try anything, you even had a few chances to kill me, but I guess you are good guys" he said, "nice to know you have humanity, not a lot of that going around right now" said Saeko, he nodded, then removed his helmet, he looked about 19, older then us, we'll, Shizuka is 27 years old.

Hirano looked at his weapon, "wait a minute, that rifle, an SA80 L85 A2, 5.56 mm, I'm right ain't I ?" He said, the soldier nodded, "hell yeah, standard issue to my forces" he said, 'his forces ?' The Hirano said "standard issue, ?!, I thought that the British army had it...." His face looked up, we saw the small flag on his left arm, it was the British flag, he smiled, "I see you noticed I'm not from here, huh ?, I'm apart of the British forces, came here to train some of your army in tactics, but... And it's not just here, it's happening everywhere, England, Russia, France... All the countries are suffering for this" he said, I never really thought of the world.

"I'm Shizuka Marikawa, I'm a temporary school nurse, thanks for helping us" she said, leaning over and showing off her huge breast, I saw the guy smile, "I'm Captain George Bowman, 23243536, (not the same guy from my RWBY book, but another guy with the same number and name) of the 1st Battalion of the Yorkshire regiment, 5th armoured division, of her majesty, queen Elizabeth the seconds Royal British army" he said, we looked at him in awe, "come on, I'll show you the room and then get some grub" he said, then Alice jumped up and down, "mmmm, I'm so hungry" she said with glee, maybe this guy isn't so bad after all.
