Alina returned home in the evening; she had spent time with Mikael. She felt lighter being with someone sensible, mature, and not someone who intimidates her. She unlocked the door and was surprised to see the entire villa in dark.

'Farhana!' She called putting her keys into her handbag. She dropped the handbag on the sofa and reached out for the light switch.

Bright lights illuminated the entire living room. She blinked her eyes and turned around. A loud gasp escaped her as she saw a stranger man sitting on the main sofa and two henchmen standing behind, on either side of him.

'Who are you?' Alina enquired after she composed herself. The man raised his eyebrow, his fingertips pressed together with his elbow resting on the armrest. He doesn't reply but kept looking darkly at her.

Alina frowned, - 'And what are you doing in my house? Where is Farhana?'- she looked around, - 'And Haider?'

The man scoffed. He stood up and pulled his grey blazer closer. Hisbodyguards flexed their muscles behind him. Alina gulped inwardly. She couldfeel her heartbeat pounding in her ears, but she tried her best to not lookfearful. The men were very menacing.

'Alina!' His voice resonated through the silent halls. Mikael noticed only lights of a bedroom were on. He frowned and cautiously walked towards the room. The door was wide open. He stepped in and his eyes widened upon seeing Alina sitting in the fetal position on the bed and down was unconscious and bloodied Haider. He was sprawled on the floor, blood oozing from the one side of his head, eyes swollen and blackened, his lips bruised and had bloodstains. His shirt loosely tugged out of his trousers.

Mikael's heart thumped in his chest and he could barely speak. His mouth hung open with shock and his eyes don't blink. Alina whimpered staring at Haider. She felt a presence and slowly looked up. Through tears in her eyes, she saw a familiar figure at the door. He looked equally horrified.

'Mi—Kael.' She called his name in a shaky meek voice. 

Oh My God! What happened, here?
