"His Sorry"

Mahir slowly opened the room door and entered not finding Bela there. He looked aside and found her staring at the sky standing near the balcony attached to his room.

He went and kept his hand on her shoulder. The moment Bela felt a touch on her shoulder she gasped but later calmed down knowing it would be Mahir only.

Seeing Bela not responding anything, he sighed and came infront of her and held her by her shoulders. He saw her eyes which were not ready to look at him, but he noticed her wet lashes and her soft tears flowing down.

Without a word he hugged her tight keeping her head on his chest. Bela though din't utter a word for his actions, neither hugged him back.

"I'm sorry Bela, I know it was my mistake", Mahir spoke out

That's it, Bela broke down and wrapping her arms around his back she cluched his shirt tight in her small arms. Mahir was constantly rubbing her back comforting her but nothing seems to work.

He realised she's way more sensitive than he thought and how badly he hurt her today with his words.

"Please Bela, calm down.. don't cry please", Mahir requested with moist eyes

Bela broke the hug and wiped her tears with her knuckles. Mahir cupped her cheeks and wiping her tears with his thumb placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

Bela closed her eyes feeling his touch and looked at him and was surprised to see his eyes watering.

"You.. you are crying?", Bela asked

"Seeing your tears, may be even I got tears in my eyes", Mahir confessed

"I'm sorry", Bela apologized

"Why are you being sorry Bela? It's me who has to be, sorry for shouting like that before", mahir said being guilty

"Yes, it was your mistake that to shouted at me without listening to me first.. but my mistake also that I haven't informed you anything", Bela said looking elsewhere

"Sorry, I din't knew it was your parents anniversary today", Mahir said cupping her face

"It's ok mahir ji, I should have told you in the first place.. anyways did you observe something?", Bela asked with a small smile

"What?", Mahir asked confused

"You said sorry three time in less that five minutes", Bela laughed

Mahir rolled his eyes at her statement but looking at her smiling wholeheartedly made him smile automatically.

"Whatever, I'm really sorry Bela", mahir said

"It's ok mahir ji, it was my mistake too.. so enough of your sorry sessions", Bela said smiling little

"Hm.. but you were scared that time right?", Mahir asked

"Not only now Mahir ji, I was always scared of you but still my talkative nature doesn't get affected with that", Bela laughed

"You are crazy Bela", mahir said

"Yes I know that", Bela smiled sheepishly

"But where were you till now?", Mahir asked concerned

"Um.. I went to temple in the morning, I was there only till sometime and later went to my office to get some formalities done.. and later went to one orphanage and came home", Bela said

"You should have informed me Bela, what happened to your phone?", Mahir asked raising his eyebrow

"Um.. actually yesterday night my Bluetooth and data was on the entire night, so morning when I saw it was switched off.. so keeping the charge I left the phone at home only", Bela said hesitating

Mahir ruffled his hair controlling his anger and Bela understood seeing his face.

"Mahir ji, I'm sorry.. next time wherever I go I'll inform you for sure.. don't be angry please", Bela said cutely

"Hm.. but you better inform next time Bela, I don't want to loose my temper and shout at you again in any situation", mahir said calmly

"Hm.. by the way you were saying you almost messed up your meeting thinking of me.. is that true?", Bela asked

"Yes, but it's fine.. the deal is finalized now", mahir said smiling

"You were really so tensed about me?", Bela asked

"Of course Bela, I couldn't do anything today.. people were giving me weird looks seeing me do silly mistakes and also left a lot of work behind and came home early", mahir said

Bela laughed listening to him.

"Yeah laugh laugh", mahir glared

"No no, I'm sorry.. I din't mean that, but why do you care so much for me me mahir ji?", Bela asked

"I mean I recently came to your life.. may be it's just been about two months we met, and how come you care so much for me?", Bela continued

"Bela it's not about how much time we know eachother, it's about how much we mean to eachother", mahir said cupping her face

Bela hugged Mahir unable to control her emotions. It was only Vish her entire life who ever cared for her, or atleast for whom her happiness and sadness matters. Seeing someone else who cared for her so much made her heart overwhelmed.

She indeed got the best family ever, she knows everyone here loves her so much and so does she. For the first time in her life she felt blessed.

"Bela you ok?", Mahir asked when he felt Bela tightening her hold on him

"Hm, yeah", Bela replied backing off

"You miss your parents right?", Mahir asked making her sit on the swing

"Yeah, but this day I feel everything so fresh again.. as if I lost them just a day back, so I prefer some alone time", Bela said looking at the sky

"Can I ask you something?", Bela asked

"Don't ask that Bela, I know you anyhow will do your enquiry", mahir laughed

Bela pouted and looked at him.

"Don't you miss your dad?", Bela asked

Listening to her words Mahir fists his arms, it's been since his childhood that he came hating his dad for cheating on his mom. Even his name makes his loose his temper.

"I'm sorry if you feel I shouldn't have asked that, but I just..", Bela tried to speak but mahir interrupted

"It's ok, you have the right to ask.. and I won't lie, I did miss him in my childhood when I see kids playing with there dad whereas me and yuvi never could after a certain age.. but now I don't, I hate him for what he did to mom.. thinking of him makes me fear thinking what if I become like him..", Mahir expressed all out

"What are you saying mahir ji, you can never cheat anyone.. please don't think of yourself like that", Bela said regretting asking him about it

"What to do Bela, I'm his own blood afterall", Mahir replied

"So what? You have Sumi maa's blood too", Bela said

Mahir smiled at her words and just then something stricked his mind.

"You are still upset?", Mahir asked

"No I'm fine", Bela said smiling

"But I have something to make you happy", Mahir said smirking

"Really, what's that?", Bela said grinning wide

"Sit, I'll come in a while", saying Mahir left the room

Bela went inside the room and sat down on the couch and in 15 minutes Mahir came with a food tray.

"I thought food makes you happy than anything else", Mahir smiled

"You thought? You are absolutely right mahir ji, this is the only think which can make me smile anytime", Bela laughed

"Ok so what did you get", Bela said opening the dishes

She saw Pani Puri, pav bhaji, and some chat too. She looked at mahir lovingly.

"I just assumed these must be your favourite, if not give me some time I'll arrange it", Mahir said

"No no, these are the best", Bela said digging into her plate

Early update coz as today it's my Birthday also coz of the love you gave me making me reach #1 in #indian and #arrangedmarriage couple of days back ❤️
