Hii guys! This is the next chapter. I hope you like it. One more chapter remaining and then His Reporter Biwi will come to an end. I will miss writing the book. It has been my baby from the past 7 months and I love it. I thank you all for the love and support you have given me and also the inspiration to write more. I love you all!

Shreya POV-

After the party, we all were so tired that we went straight to bed after getting changed. Aditya had school tomorrow and we all had work. Moreover, mom and dad were leaving for a 2 week trip to Kerala tomorrow morning. They were taking a direct flight to Kochi.

In the morning, we all bid farewell to mom and dad as Kabir and Siddharth bhai went to drop them to the airport.

" Shreya, please get Aditya ready for school while I prepare his tiffin. I'm giving this responsibility of getting Adi ready to you from now on." She said.

I nodded excitedly.

" Aditya, where is your uniform?" I asked as soon as I entered his room.

" Chachi, it's in the left cupboard." He said.

I took out his uniform and placed it on the bed.

" Adi, go and take bath." I told him.

" Done chachi!" He said.

" You are getting smart champ." I said.

He smiled.

" Now come here." I said and he obliged.

I got him ready within 10 minutes and we came downstairs where he finished his milk.

" Good boy. Now come, mumma will drop you to the bus stop." Roshni bhabhi said.

" Shreya, you start preparing breakfast. I will come in 5 minutes." She added.

I nodded.

" Bye Adi" I said.

" Bye Chachi." He said and kissed my cheek. I did the same.

They left and I started preparing breakfast. As promised, bhabhi joined me within a few minutes.

In sometime, Siddharth bhai and Kabir were back too.

Now bua dadi came out of her room.

" Ladies, now as I am the senior most person in the house, you will abide by my rules. No arguments for the next 14 days. The rules are-

1) Come home before 7 in the evening.

2) Never disobey me.

3) Wear Indian Dresses to work.

The list will follow and you are not supposed to break the rules. This is my final word." She said.

" Okay bua dadi." Bhabhi and I said. We don't have the power to argue with her early in the morning.

We served breakfast and then we all got ready for work.

Shreya's look-

Roshni's look-

"Now you both look like the in laws of Rathore's."Bua dadi announced.

" As if earlier we used to look like aliens." I whispered to Roshni bhabhi.

" Bua dadi, can we leave now?" Bhabhi asked.

" Yes. Siddharth and Kabir have already left." She said.

" Bye bua dadi." I said and both of us left in our respective cars.

I reached office and started working. Vaibhav called me in his cabin.

" May I come in." I asked, knocking his cabin.

" Come in." He said. I entered.

" Shreya, you are getting the best reporter under 30 Award. The ceremony is day after tomorrow and guess who is the Chief Guest?" Vaibhav sir asked.

" I'm getting the best Reporter under 30 Award?" I asked, shocked.

" Yes." He said. I immediately went and hugged him.

That exact moment, Anika entered his cabin along with Advika.

" Woman, leave my husband alone. You will choke him to death." Anika said.

" It's okay Anika. The news I am about to give you calls for a celebration." Vaibhav said.

" What is it?" She asked.

" Shreya is getting Best Reporter under 30 Award." He said.

Anika squeaked.

 She handed Advika over to Vaibhav and hugged me tightly.

" I am going to your house right now and giving this news to uncle, aunty, Virat bhai and everyone." Anika said.

" Give them these invitation passes for the programme too." Vaibhav said and handed over the passes to Anika.

" Anika, tell Rohit bhai that I am better than him." I said.

She rolled her eyes.

" What were you telling about the Chief Guest Vaibhav sir?" I asked him.

" The Chief Guests of the function are Kabir Rathore and Siddharth Rathore." He said.

" So what?" I asked without realizing.

" Wait, Kabir Rathore as in my husband?" I asked.

" You are a genius Shreya!" Anika said sarcastically.

" But he does't know that you are getting this award. It is confidential." Vaibhav said.

" Now let's give his a shock." I said.

" Okay guys, I am leaving to give these passes to uncle and aunty." Anika said and left.

The next day passed in a hurry and it was D-day.

" Shreya, I am going to some Award ceremony as a Chief Guest along with bhai. Bhabhi is also coming. You also get ready." Kabir said in the evening when I returned back from office.

" Kabir, I would have loved to come but I have to go to office again. I have a very tight schedule these days." I said.

" It's okay Love. Work comes first." He said.

My husband is so understanding!

" I love you Kabir." I said.

" I love you too." He said and left.

Thank god bua dadi had gone to temple or else I would have worn a suit to the award function.

I quickly got dressed in a formal suit.

Shreya's look for the function-

I drove to the venue quickly and spotted Anika and Vaibhav. I took my seat. Anika had already made sure that Kabir does not see mumma, papa and the rest of them.

The function was going on and it was the time to announce the Best Reporter under 30.

" Now I request our Chief Guests, Mr Kabir Rathore and Mr Siddharth Rathore to come up and present the Best Reporter under 30 Award.

Both of them went on the stage.

" And the Award for Best Reporter Under 30 goes to Mrs Shreya Rathore." The presenter announced.

Kabir was left perplexed.

I came up to the stage to collect the Trophy. I gave a smile to him.

" Shreya, we request you to address the people sitting here." The presenter said again.

I took the mike in my hand. Kabir and bhai shifted towards the left to give me some space.

" This is huge for me. I would like to thank my papa for making me who I am today professionally. Had he not insisted me to follow my passion and do CA instead, I would have been in jail right now due to my sheer bad maths and calculations. He not only supported me but also encouraged me. He is the strongest man I know. Then comes my mother, who loves to scold me till now. She has always been there for me. I don't need to say much because she already knows what I mean. Always. My in laws too, who are not here at the moment have never made me feel as a daughter in law, I've always been their daughter. They are way too supportive of my work. Then there is Virat Bhai, I always have his back , he always has a way to save me from mumma and gets me lots of ice-creams. Rohit bhai is so annoying but I have to bear him as he is my brother too, he has beaten lot's of boys who annoyed me. I love you bhai. Well Siddharth bhai has always made me feel like a younger sister and not sister in law and I thank him for that. There is Riya bhabhi, Khyati bhabhi and Roshni bhabhi who are more like my sisters. Jahanavi and Aditya are my partners in crime and little Samyak and Advika are the apples of my eyes. Then there is Anika and Vaibhav who are always mad at me for some reason or the other but I love them both and they know this. Also, thank you bua dadi for providing some entertainment in my life!!

Last but not the least, there is my husband, Kabir. I never knew that I had such a good fate to have such a good husband. I have fallen for him hard and along with papa, he has been the other strongest pillar of my life. I had expected to my life to change drastically with him and also thought that I will give my work a backseat but he never let that happen. We have had our fair share of arguments but he has never tried to demean me in any way. Neither in public nor private. The love and respect that I have for him cannot be expressed. The dictionary doesn't have enough words to express my emotions towards him. As cliched that it might sound, but I cannot imagine my life without him now. I love you Kabir." I said looking towards him.

He came near me and held me by my waist. He then pecked me softly on my lips.

I blushed.

Everyone was clapping and I stood near Kabir. Suddenly, I felt the world spinning and  my vision blacked out.
