"Wake up, Y/N!" I felt someone shaking my arms and I opened my eyes, looking at who it was. 

My goofball boyfriend of 4-years today, Connor McDavid was smiling and I groaned.

"5 more minutes, Connor...." I lifted the pillow from under my head and put it over my face, but Connor being Connor, he lifted it up. 

Sitting up, I glared at him and he just laughed at me. 

"Oh come on, Y/N. I made you your favorite..." He laughed, kissing my forehead. 

"Really?" I smirked, kissing his cheek. 

He nodded his head and almost immediately, I got out of the bed and walked into the bedroom, getting ready for the day. 

When I walked out the bathroom, I saw a note on the dresser. Walking over, I got dressed before I picked up the note and started to read it. 

'Happy anniversary!

Grabbing my wallet and phone off the bedside table, I quickly put on my chestnut Uggs and ran downstairs. I walked over to the kitchen counter before I grabbed the car keys and walked out the door.

As soon as I walked into the coffee shop, I heard a familiar German accent yelling, "Oh, hey Y/N!" 

Walking up to the cash register, I saw Leon Draisaitl in his full Oilers gear, manning the empty store. 

"Hallo, Leon. Was Connor up to this?" I smirked, resting my hands on the counter. 

"Uh, ja...What would you like?" 

"I'll have the original blend and chocolate Timbits..." 

He stepped away from the counter and got the food ready and handed it to me. 

"Uhh, shouldn't I pay for it?" I smiled, setting them down on the counter for a minute and fished for my wallet. 

"Nein, Connor took care of it. But, he did want me to give this to you." He handed me another note, but this time, it told me to go to the West Edmonton Mall. 

I politely thanked Leon for the food and said my goodbyes before I walked out of the shop.

After encountering with many Oilers at various locations, I finally drove to Rexall like Connor told me to. When I entered, I saw Leon and Taylor standing there, waiting for me. 

Walking up to them with a confused smile on my face, "any reason why Connor asked me to come here?" 

The two of them looked at each other before Taylor spoke up. "He-uh-wanted to show you a new move of his..Yeah, that sounds right!" 

I looked at Leon for an answer and he just had a cheeky smile on his face. "He wants to meet him on center ice. Auf Wiedersehen!" 

And just like that, Leon walked into the locker rooms with Taylor and left me all alone. Shrugging my shoulders, I walked up to the Oilers bench when I saw a pair of skates and a note telling me to wear them. 

I took my boots off and put on my skates, getting up and skated onto the ice. As soon as I got there, I saw the lights dim and a spotlight following someone.

One by one, all the Oilers came out of the tunnels, and by the end of it, it had spelled. 'Y/N, will you marry me?'

And all of a sudden, the lights went black and it turned back on Connor, who was on one knee in front of me. "Y/F/N, I have been in love with you these past 4 years. Thank you for staying with me after school that one day at the library to help me study for an exam. And look where we are now. I know we're a little young to do this, but I can't resist it. Y/N, will you do me the honor? Will you marry me and be Mrs. Connor McDavid?" 

My hands flew up to my mouth and tears started to run out of my eyes. I immediately nodded my head, making Connor stand up and slip the ring onto my finger. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. 

"Oh my god, Connor and Y/N! Keep it PG for the kids!" Taylor jokingly closed Leon's hands with his hands before us three all shouted, "shut up!" at him. 

Looking up at my new fiancé, I whispered into his ear, "I love you forever and always, Connor McDavid."

"I love you too, Y/N L/N, or shall I say McDavid?"
