Getting stuck in an elevator after a fight... (690+ words)

It was just a crappy day for me. First of all, my friend stood me up for our day at the mall because her boyfriend was 'sick'. Second of all, I had gotten into a fight with my boyfriend, Tobias earlier today and it was just going downward spiraling for me.

Just to get away from the drama for a few hours, I've decided to go to the ACC just to practice a few hockey tricks and I was currently in an elevator to go home when there was a 'ding' noise and in front of me was, you guessed it, Tobias.

"Y/N? What're you doing here?" His Swedish accent was laced with sadness and regret as he stepped into the elevator.

"I-I was practicing in a separate rink, what are you doing here?" I crossed my arms and made room for him to stand in.

"I had training with Kappy and Willie?"

The elevator was very old and it's known to break down a lot. But, out of my luck, the elevator made a creaking noise and suddenly stopped. Great! I was stuck in the elevator with my boyfriend who I was in a fight with...

My first instinct was to call my best friends on the Maple Leafs organization and I knew they were here at the ACC. Kasperi Kapanen and William Nylander. I dialed Nylander's number and it rang about 3 times before he picked up.

"Hello?" William's voice rang through and I sighed.

"William, oh thank god you answered!" I played with my hair sliding down the elevator wall.

"Y/N? What happened?"

"Long story short, Tobias and I are stuck in the elevator..."

"Wait, how long have you been stuck in there?"

"Hmm, for about 5 minutes?"

"Oh, crap. Kasperi! Stop trash talking with Connor and come with me to the control room! Y/N and Tobias are stuck in the elevator! Y/N, I'll talk to you later, bye."

"Bye, William."

And like that, I hung up the call and put away my phone in my purse. Silence filled the elevator like coffee filling up a glass filled with ice. I avoided eye contact with Tobias and he avoided eye contact with me. Yep, we were giving each other the cold shoulder.

1 hour and a half. That's how long we were in here. I was starting to get hungry when Tobias finally started to talk.

"Why are we doing this, Y/N?" He looked at me with his blue eyes that were filled with sadness.

"I-I don't know, Tobias...I can't even remember why we even fought in the first place." I started to break down into tears, hiding my face between my knees and sob.

"Hey, hey, hey! Sweetheart, look at me. Please?" Tobias pleaded and I looked up at him, his eyes were watering too and were about to turn red. "I'm so sorry for starting this whole crap argument..."

"No, Tobias. I should be apologizing for just storming out of our apartment...Will you please forgive me?"

Tobias chuckled before he nodded his head, "and will you forgive me too?"

I laughed out loud before I nodded my head, "yes, Tobias. I forgive you too."

We both giggled and stood up, running into each other before I landed on top of him.

"Well, this is awk-" I blushed before I felt Tobias' lips on my lips, the kiss was a gentle yet rough kiss. The elevator made a noise and before I knew it, I heard groans coming out of two men-childs.

"Oh my god, Tobias and Y/N! What were you guys doing in here?" Kasperi fakingly gagged and we rolled our eyes.

"Aren't you going to say something to us, Tobi and Y/N?" William pointed to himself and Kasperi glared at him, "and Kasperi too..."

"Thank you." Kasperi nodded his head before he crossed his arms and looked at us.

"Thank you, William and Kasperi..." We mumbled as we got up from the floor and exited the elevator.

"You two are welcome. Can we go to BeaverTails, please? I'm hungry..." Kasperi looked at us before we nodded our heads.
