"Congratulations Priyanka", Anika congratulated Priyanka with a smile standing beside Shivaay. They are in the hospital as Priyanka was not feeling well for the past few weeks and she guessed that she might be pregnant and when the doctor told her the same she became very happy and excited to meet her baby. She hugged Anika first and then turned towards Shivaay.

"Thank you so much for supporting bhaiya if not you...", Priyanka said but was interrupted by Anika in the middle as she excused herself. She felt unwanted there because they still didn't tell her the reason why Priyanka was facing problems in conceiving. That's why she doesn't want to come between them.

"I... I will pay the bills", Anika said and was about to go when Shivaay held her hand as he didn't like it when he noticed Anika going outside alone. Bills are supposed to be paid by him not her.

"Anika", he called her name and went towards her knowing why Anika is leaving. He notices her behaviour every time whenever they are alone with Priyanka. She always escapes giving them space thinking that she is indulging thier privacy which she can never do.

"I will come back Shivaay ", Anika said with a smile and left from there assuring Shivaay by caressing his cheeks that she is not upset. Shivaay smiled at her gesture, he feels so happy seeing her understanding nature. They still have arguments but not serious ones. They always solve their issues before sleeping with Ansh. Ansh reminds them of thier mistake and undying love for each other, they decided that till Ansh grows up, they will not let Ansh stay away from them.

"Can we tell the truth to Anika now? Because there is no point in hiding it now", Shivaay asked Priyanka turning towards her as he can't let Anika stay in dark for a long time. It's hurt him to see Anika trying to act normal when she is not. He will not be able to meet eyes with her today if he hides this issue from her again.

"Bhaiya it's not needed. If we tell her then she might misunderstand you and that we were hiding this problem from her", Priyanka said with concern not knowing that Anika already knows half the truth.

"It is needed, Priyanka. She knows the half-truth that you are facing problems during pregnancy. Someone told her that and I need to tell her the reason also. Didn't you notice why she left us alone? I know she was expecting us to reveal the truth, I saw in her eyes and I can't hide it anymore go and tell her", Shivaay requested her and gestured towards the door because he don't want Anika to stay upset with him. She doesn't show but he knows she feels bad when he hides issues from her.

"Ok as you wish", Priyanka said and came outside to see Anika coming back after paying bills. On seeing them Anika smiled and gave the slip to Shivaay. Shivaay. Shivaay held her hand taking this as a chance and stood beside her. He can't let Anika feel that she is left out whenever he meets Priyanka.

"Anika", Priyanka called her came

"I paid bills so let's go back ", Anika said turning to go without looking at them thinking that they still need to talk about their issue. Shivaay gestured for Priyanka to tell Anika to which she nodded and spoke about her issue to Anika. Before she was hesitant but life made this issue normal for her.

"I was facing a problem in pregnancy because I faced miscarriage. Already my body was weak to carry a child and miscarriage made it worst. Every doctor denied but bhaiya consulted a doctor who told me to eat healthily and get strong enough to carry a baby. Since that time he is taking care of me and just because of his support, I'm pregnant. I'm sorry for hiding it from you. Nobody else knew about this except bhaiya and Daksh. That time I was so broken, Anika... I thought I'm infertile and everyone will hate me. I thought... Society will not accept me so I hid it from everyone saying we don't want a baby yet. Please don't fight with bhaiya on this matter, he is innocent. I'm sorry ", Priyanka told and requested as she sensed Shivaay's fear and don't want to become the reason for thier fight. She adores them because sometimes she thinks that thier love is more strong than theirs.

"I can never hate you Priyanka we love you and we don't care if you give us a child or not. I know you are innocent and I promise I will not fight with your brother. Now come", Anika said eyeing Shivaay

"You go and sit in the car, we are coming ", Shivaay said and dragged Anika towards one corner

"Shivaay...", Anika was about to ask him if he was fine when he interrupted her and asked his question from her

"Are you angry", he asked to which Anika chuckled. It's been 7 years since that issue then how can she get angry with him? And on what basis?

"I can understand her because I would have reacted the same Shivaay. If people get to know about our disability then they make fun. And she must be scared and I know you don't think like that. I know you more than you know about yourself. That was her decision and I know you respected that ", Anika said caressing Shivaay's cheek she love his expression when he panics thinking that they will not talk with each other due to a fight. She can't stay angry at him for a long time because she is habitual in talking about her daily routine with him and her love makes her weak to fight with him. Shivaay closed his eyes feeling peace, he sighed in relief that she is not angry. He held her hand and moved her hand towards his lips.

Anika shivered when Shivaay kissed her hand and then started to kiss her fingers. "Let's go now", Anika said breaking his trance as he was lost in her. This is the same hospital where she delivered Ansh which makes this hospital very special to him. Shivaay shooked his head and pulled her closer by her waist. Anika blushed seeing him as now he doesn't hesitate before kissing her anywhere. They have completed 8 years of togetherness, Ansh is a 7-year-old kid who little bit understands what their parents do and say. Shivaay placed Anika's hand on his shoulder and joined their forehead together.

"Sorry for hiding this for such a long time", Shivaay apologized, Anika smiled and kissed his cheeks seeing his innocence and love.

"Koi baat nahi. It's ok. Sorry is not even needed", she said and moved away after peeking at his lips. This time Shivaay blushed and pulled her into a hug as from the day he was hiding this issue from Anika, he was feeling bad to keep Anika in dark and now he is relaxed.

"Papa", Ansh called Shivaay when they reached home after dropping Priyanka back. Shivaay was not ready to leave Priyanka alone there but when Anika asked him for how many days he let her go, he didn't pressurise Anika. They came back home silently as her reply looked offensive to him, maybe Anika said this just as a matter of fact but still that hurt him as he was thinking about Priyanka's health

"How was your day baby", Shivaay asked bending in front of Ansh and pulling his child into a hug

"Today we had 2 free periods and I played a lot but I had a fight with Karan and he slapped me. When I told same to the teacher, she shouted at both of us", Ansh complained looking at Shivaay

"What? Why...", Anika was about to ask him why the teacher shouted at him when Shivaay stopped her

"Anika wait", Shivaay said and gestured for her to sit beside him. Anika nodded and sat beside him. She can't handle someone raising their voice at her kid. Till now she never shouted at him, nor she slapped him.

"And what did you do? , Shivaay asked politely

"He was not letting me play in the swing that's why I pushed him", Ansh said looking down because of his crime. He know it was his mistake but he didn't like how his teacher shouted at him. He cried that time as his parents never raised their voices at him, they always guided him politely and he understands them.

"You should not fight Ansh ", Shivaay said

"Yes, Ansh your father is right. You should control your anger. You could have asked and if he doesn't understands then tell same to teacher ok? And there are many games. You should not get angry ok?", Anika asked holding Ansh's tiny face in his hands. She noticed tears in his eyes and wiped his tears softly.

"Ansh it's ok baby. Don't cry", Anika said, Ansh started to cry loudly and hugged Anika, he hid his face between her chest and complaint that he didn't like someone shouting at him

"When we mistake we get punishment also. So from next time, you will not get angry ok?", Shivaay asked to which Ansh hummed. Anika kissed his hair many times and looked at Shivaay because she is worried seeing him upset. What if he is lying and the matter is something else?

"Tomorrow you will apologise ", Shivaay declared to which Ansh hummed again and broke the hug. Shivaay pulled Ansh onto his lap and started to tickle him. Ansh started to laugh loudly and tried coming out of couldn't because of Shivaay's hold.

"Sorry... Haha... Leave me ", Ansh said while laughing, Shivaay smiled and stopped tickling him. He kissed his cheeks and the trio hugged each other.

"Love you", Anika said to Ansh eying Shivaay. Shivaay noticed her gaze and smiled as he guessed that this confession is for him as well

"Love you too mom and dad", Ansh said and started to play with his toys. Later after making Ansh sleep, Shivaay came towards the pool and sat dipping his feet inside the pool. Anika noticed him and came towards him, she placed her head on his shoulder and held his arm tightly

"Shivaay Priyanka should live with her husband like I preferred to be with you. Don't worry he will take care of her like you took my care. Like I felt safe with you rather than anyone else", Anika said clearing his confusion and kissing his shoulder. These small gestures make Shivaay feel very happy and he kissed Anika's forehead. This is what he calls peace, he doesn't need anything just her beside him telling him that she needs him.

"After a lot of effort, she can conceive. What if she lost her child?", Shivaay asked looking into her eyes. Anika intertwined their fingers together and kissed his hand

"Think positively", Anika said and caressed his cheeks, he is the only man for whom her heart goes crazy, she only needs him beside her then everything will be fine.

"Before doctors said she can never but after we changed her diet, her body became a little strong", Shivaay told to which Anika hummed. Shivaay encircled his arm around her waist and pulled her more close towards himself.

"That's it. Don't worry she will not face anything", Anika said

"I'm so excited for tomorrow ", Anika said showing her excitement as tomorrow is Ansh's function, from the time Ansh started to participate in functions they used to be there on time to support their son.

"Me too", Shivaay said and both stayed there hugging each other for some time and then slept together.

"Shivaayyy", Anika shouted his name coming near the bathroom door as Shivaay was getting ready. She is not ready yet as she was getting Ansh ready for his annual function. Shivaay came out shirtless as it's his daily routine while ruffling his hair with the towel

"What happened?", he asked

"Where is his bag? And his new shoes?", Anika asked as yesterday he and Ansh went to purchase them. She doubts that Shivaay forgot everything in the car but wants to confirm it first

"I... In car. Come Ansh I will drop you ", Shivaay said and picked up Ansh in his arms

"I'm not ready, and you too", Ansh said in his baby voice while rubbing Shivaay's beard. Anika put Ansh down from Shivaay's arm and started to set Ansh's hair. Shivaay also didn't move from his place as today he want her to make him ready. Once she was done with everything she turned to see Shivaay still shirtless

"What are you waiting for? Now make me ready", Shivaay said and pulled Anika towards himself. Anika shivered when her hands touched his bare chest. She looked at him and took the towel from his hand.

"Now go and ask Om Chachu and Rudy chachu, Ishana bhabhi, everyone how you are looking go", Shivaay said and held Anika's waist when he noticed Ansh went. Anika giggled at his behaviour as he does the same most of the time and she is habitual now. She started to dry his hair using a towel, Shivaay pushed her dress down from the shoulder and kissed there. Anika started to take a long breath to control herself from not going further otherwise he will get late whereas Shivaay was least bothered about time. He started teasing her by tracing his hand on her bare back lifting her dress a little and kissing her neck at the same time.

"Don't do this", Anika whispered and held his shoulder and towel tightly to hold herself from falling. She felt her legs going weak when Shivaay was teasing her. Shivaay gave a deaf ear to her request and continued kissing her cheeks, forehead, shoulder and neck teasing her. Because of his actions, Anika couldn't help him to wear an undershirt even which irritated her

"Wear these yourself then", Anika huffed in anger and threw the towel aside but couldn't move as her waist was held by Shivaay. Shivaay shooked his head and asked her to continue

"Stop teasing me then", Anika said and picked the undershirt from the bed and helped him to wear it. Once he wore that he again started to tease her, this time Anika started to tease him back by kissing his chest and cheeks and by blowing air near his neck

"Fine I will not tease you ", Shivaay said and stepped back as he left current inside his body whenever Anika blew air near his neck. Anika giggled and made him wear the suit and gave him jeans to wear as he never took her help to wear that.

"Why are you not ready?", Shivaay asked and hugged her from the back. He turned her towards the mirror and looked into her eyes through the mirror

"I will call you then come to pick me up. For now, go with Ansh, please. See I'm not ready and have to go office also", Anika said to which Shivaay hummed, Anika turned and kissed his forehead because she knows he is not happy with this fact but she change her decision now. She asked him to go and hugged him before letting him move out of the room. In the office, it took 2 hours and when she called Shivaay, she got to know that Ansh's performance has already ended which disappointed her because she hurried in everything to which Shivaay told her that his performance was in the beginning and it was totally fine.

"It's ok. We can't be present at every function. Come home, we are also coming", Shivaay replied with this which made her feel more guilty. She came back home and waited for Shivaay. When she noticed Ansh and Shivaay coming inside the room, she ran towards Ansh and hugged him tightly

"Sorry, my baby I...", Anika couldn't complete because Ansh interrupted her

"Papa told me that you got busy and are upset. Are you ", Ansh asked to which Anika nodded making a puppy face

"Don't be. Next time you will drop me ok?", Ansh said to which Anika nodded again

"You know she told me she brought chocolate for you", Shivaay said pointing towards Anika which confused her as she didn't purchase anything today. When she noticed him blinking his eyes assuring her, she understood he purchased it and smiled widely.

"Mumma where is the chocolate ", Ansh asked

"First give me a coffee than his chocolate ", Shivaay said

"No, my chocolate first", Ansh argued

"See I'm taking her. First my coffee ", Shivaay said and dragged Anika towards the kitchen. When they reached the kitchen, Shivaay gave her the chocolate and asked her to give it to Ansh. Anika thanked him and prepared coffee for him and then gave him chocolate to Ansh

"Papa purchased this for you", Anika told Ansh as she can't take his credit. Yes, this is a small matter but still, these small matters also hold a special place inside her heart

"Are you mad?", Shivaay asked Anika angrily

"See he is calling me mad", Anika said pointing the same to Ansh which made Shivaay and Ansh laugh.

"No I don't mean it", Shivaay said, Anika pulled Shivaay's cheek and told him she knows what she did.

"Also I and her giving gift doesn't matter because we both are one", Shivaay said and the trio hugged each other and lived happily ever after maintaining their relationship maturely. Shivaay forgave Tej but his relationship with him stayed formal because the bitterness which Tej caused his heart made him fear from him. Shivaay couldn't trust Tej because of his past behaviour. Staying in one house makes it difficult to stay angry but still, Tej couldn't remove his insult from Shivaay's heart

Felt that the last chapter was not what I supposed to be the end of this book so updated a new chapter with the same base but with a better ending ❤️

Before I used to get angry with my parents whenever they used to skip my functions and now when I got a little busy, I realised we can't be present everywhere. Even though we want to but sometimes we can't and that's the meaning of life. Toh agar parents nahi bhi aate kahi and sabhi ke aate hai, take it easy ❤️

Now I'm satisfied with the end😁
