Sometimes, things happen.
And sometimes they don't.

Some things hurt.
Some things don't.

The way I see it, if you go through something catastrophic, but you don't end up happy when it's all over—then it's not over.

When you see the word catastrophic, what do you think?
Devastation?
Maybe a natural disaster?

Perhaps that's what it's supposed to mean.
But the catastrophe carries through.
Do you think that after a war, everyone just wakes up and the world is just fine again?
No, they have to rebuild themselves.

What people don't seem to understand is that a wound still hurts, even if it's scabbed over and then scars.
Because it's still there.
That scar is a constant reminder that you went through something detrimental—catastrophic.

You see, after everything that's ever happened to me, the catastrophe never ends.

You can be healing, but the nightmare will still be playing.
You can be healed, but the devastation doesn't end.
The catastrophe just keeps on happening.

But no one knows that.
Do you think that once the world moves on, that so will I?
Do you think that if you ignore the problem, that it'll just go away?

Trust me, I've tried.

The memories keep hitting me from all directions.
Sometimes they glitter and swirl, as if they're trying to fool me into letting them in.
It's a kalopsia, and sometimes it works.

Yes, some memories are truly enchanting.
They're amaranthine.

But some are nefarious.
They can make you believe all sorts of atrocities.

With a mind like this, there is a lacuna in my time.
My memories have holes; my past has burn scars, and my future is an abyss of nothingness.

These are the Hollows In Time.
