We each take a seat at professor Ozpina's desk and the twilight sun rising

Ozpina: (chuckling as she gestures to Pyrrha and I, The Long Memory resting at her side) Well, it comes as no surprise that they've chosen you to move on to the final round of the tournament. Your performance was exemplary.

Pyrrha: (humbly) Thank you, Professor Ozpin, but I would never have made it this far without my teammates.

Quill: (from her spot leaning against a column in the back of the room, arms crossed) Personally, I think it's the other way around.

Pyrrha: (turns around and gets up from her chair, trying to be formal) I'm sorry, but I don't believe we've been introduced.

Quill: (still rather hostile) Name's Quill.

Ozpina: Quill is a trusted colleague of mine.

You: (whispers to Pyrrha) Ruby's Aunt

Pyrrha oh's in understandment

Pyrrha: (looks at Quill for another moment before addressing our teacher again) Professor, if you don't mind me asking, why have you called me here?

Ozpina: (still smiling) Please, take a seat.

when she does so, she puts her fingers up to her lips, leaning back casually

Ozpina: tell me the both of you, what is your favorite fairy tale?

You: (confused) I'm... sorry?

Ozpina: Fairy tales, stories from your childhood. Surely you must remember some of them.

Pyrrha: (put off by the question, but answers with nostalgia:) Well, there's The Tale of The Two Brothers, The Shallow Sea, The Girl in the Tower...

You: I read some of those, there heart warming, my favourite is the judgment of Faunus, the grimm child and the man at the sun, but there's also-

Ozpina: the story of the seasons

You/Pyrrha: yes

Pyrrha: Well, of course!

looks away in remembrance, narrating the story.

I then take out the sword the one I used at the docks

Quill got defensive but Ozpina stops her, I stab it on the floor, the room floods in colours, they were amazed, then I gives shape of a scenery of an old house and form figurine's of characters from the story

You: set a stage I say

Ozpina nods and watches the mini play go as Pyrrha narrated

Pyrrha:  A callous old woman, who refuses to leave her home, is visited by four traveling sisters.

each of the four figures performs a different action, with the white one sitting down, the green bringing a basket of fruits, the orange calling their host out of the building, and the purple gesturing to what's around them

Pyrrha: The first understands her reclusive nature and urges her to use her time in solitude to reflect and meditate. The second brings her fruits and flowers, tending to her crops and revitalizing her garden. The third warms the woman's heart, convincing her to step outside and embrace the world around her. And the fourth and final sister begs her to look at all that he has, and be thankful.

a golden light emanates from the old woman figurine until it surrounds the four girls, who go on their way with the glow still around them

Pyrrha:  In return for their kindness, the woman grants the maidens incredible powers, so that they may continue to help others all over the world. They graciously accept, and promise to share their gifts with the people of Remnant 'til the end of days.

I dissipated the scene and figurine's as I lift the sword and desummoned it, I noticed Ozpina looking down in guilt and sadness, but she quickly rubs it away

Pyrrha: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall; the four maidens. My mother loves that story.

Ozpina: Would you believe me if I told you that one's been around since I was a girl?

Pyrrha: (laughing) You're not that old, Professor.

Ozpina: (turning from playful to deadly serious in a millisecond) Well, would you believe me if I told you it was true?

You: but that story started nearly, 2,000 years old

Ozpina: was it

Pyrrha: (silent for a moment, then gives an uneasy chuckle) I beg your pardon?

Ozpina: What if I were to tell you that there were four maidens existing in this world, that could wield such tremendous power, without Dust?

Pyrrha: (trying to make sense of this development) You mean... like a Semblance?

Ozpina: (giving a small smile as her delivers her secret) Like Magic.

Pyrrha: (looks down) I...

Quill: Yeah. First time hearing it's pretty crazy.

Ozpina: but when y/n showed his gift, I knew it was no Semblance, it something else entirely

Pyrrha: (turns her gaze from Quill back to Ozpina again, amazed) You're serious?

Ozpina: (straight-faced) Do I look like I'm joking?

Pyrrha: ... No. (struggles for the right words) Why... why are you telling me this?

You: and why now

Ozpina glances at Quill, who nods her approval, before looking into Pyrrha's eyes

Ozpina: We are telling you this, Pyrrha Nikos, because we believe that you are next in line to receive the Fall Maiden's powers.

At that moment, the elevator doors open, and we turn to see Glynda and Jenny coming out

Jenny: sorry we're late

Glynda: (coming forward with Jenny and Quill, spreading her hands and trying to sound reassuring)You know who we are. We're still the same teachers and Headmistress you met when you arrived at Beacon.

Quill: 'Cept we've got a little part-time job.

Jenny: We are the protectors of this world.

Ozpina: And we need your help.

Pyrrha looks at me and I look at her, she turns her gaze back to our headmistress

Pyrrha: what does this have to do with y/n

Ozpina: he will be your protector, he will protect you from any harm, he will be with you no matter what

You: thank you, for this honour

She gets up from her seat and goes the elevator

Ozpina: follow me

We are in lift going down, below the school even

Pyrrha: (apprehensive) Where are we going?

Ozpina: The vault. Under the school.

The elevator continues downward through the vertical tunnel of dark green lights until it opens its doors and we step out, with Pyrrha and I being the last to leave as we absorb the sight of the large, sparsely-lit hallway we're now being lead through. Glynda waits up for us behind the others.

Glynda: I'm sure you must have questions.

Pyrrha: (still taking it all in) Maybe one, or two... (they continue on as she asks them) I still don't understand. You said I was next in line to receive the Maiden's power. What do you mean by that?

Glynda: The Maidens have existed for thousands of years. But much like in nature, the seasons change. No two summers are alike. When a Maiden dies, her power leaves her body and seeks out a new host, ensuring that the seasons are never lost, and that no individual can hold on to that power forever.

You: So, how does the power choose?

Quill: through a series of stupid and convoluted rules.

Glynda: Quill.

Quill: Hey, don't get mad 'cause I'm right.

Glynda: (back to us, explaining it all carefully) At first, the only thing that was certain was that the powers were specifically passed on to young women. But as time went on, it was discovered that the selection process was much more... intimate.

Pyrrha: (concerned) ... Intimate?

Glynda: As we understand it now, when a Maiden dies, the one who is in her final thoughts is the first candidate to inherit her power.

Quill: Unless it's a dude or some old hag. Then the power goes to someone random, and our job gets a lot harder.

Pyrrha: Why tell me all of this now? Why not wait until I've graduated?

Qruill: Honestly, we've run out of time. I don't know if you've noticed, but things are getting a lot scarier out in the world. Tensions are high. Grimm are growing stronger, more prevalent. And it's not going to be much longer before the peace we've been enjoying so much goes out the window.

Pyrrha: You're not... talking about a war?

Jenny: Not a war between nations.

Quill: We can fill you in on the details once we know that you're with us. For now, all you need to know is that one of the Maidens has been attacked. And for the first time in history, part of her power was stolen.

A humming of electricity is heard as we come to our destination at the end of the hallway: A large machine with lit screens hooked up to two rectangular pods, one of which is upright to show through the glass window a young girl dressed in minimal clothing with a burn scar over her left eye and across her face.

Pyrrha: (stepping forward hesitantly) Is that...

Ozpin: (sighs heavily) The current Fall Maiden, Amber.

You: She's still alive

Jenny: For now. We're using state of the art Atlas technology to keep her stable. But there is a lot about this situation that is... unprecedented.

Pyrrha: What do you mean?

Jenny: (sighs, eyes closed) Well, we don't know what will happen if- when she passes.

You: Won't... her power... just transfer to the next host?

Quill: Look who's been listening! (whispering to Ozpin) She is smart.

Jenny: Under normal circumstances, yes. But this is a delicate situation. It's not uncommon for the last thoughts of the slain to be of their attacker. (glances at Amber) And to make matters worse, no one's ever seen the power split like this before. For all we know, it will seek out its other half.

Pyrrha: (connecting the pieces together) ... Her assailant.

Ozpina: (turning to Pyrrha) And that would not bode well for any of us.

Pyrrha lowers her head in thought, then suddenly comes forward and places a hand on the glass of Amber's pod.

Pyrrha: (suddenly sounding angry, turning to the teachers and gesturing wildly) If all of this is true, why keep it secret!? If this girl is so important... if we're truly on the brink of war, why not tell everyone?

Glynda: (coming forward to explain) From what we understand, it used to be common knowledge.

Pyrrha: (not expecting that answer) Excuse me?

Quill: (now his turn to elaborate as he pulls out the familiar flask) How do you think legends and fairy tales get started? Even the craziest ones come from somewhere. (he gets the lid off and takes a swig)

Glynda: Our group was founded in order to protect both mankind and the Maidens. Those hungry for power hunted them with the hope of inheriting their strength.

Quill: (finishing his drink) And as you can imagine, the ones that succeeded weren't exactly the kind of people you'd want to have unimaginable power.

Jenny: And so this sisterhood chose to remove the Maidens from the public eye, allowing their existence to fade away into legend.

Glynda: The things we're telling you go against hundreds of years of human history, religion.

Jenny : No one would want to believe us. It would cause an uproar.

Ozpina: It would cause panic. And we all know what that would bring to clawing to our Kingdom's walls. (turns her gaze away from the others) Which is why we would like to...

Pyrrha: I'll do it.

Ozpina looks up, surprised, as she stares at the ground, continuing

Pyrrha: If you believe that this will help humanity... (gives them all a resolute look) ... then I will become your Fall Maiden.

as the others silently turn to each other with wary faces

Pyrrha: That's what you wanted, isn't it?

Ozpina: (stepping towards Pyrrha) It is, but I'm afraid it's not that simple. Given Amber's condition, you won't be able to inherit her power naturally. However, General Ironwood believes she has a solution

Jenny: For the past few years, Atlas has been studying Aura from a more scientific standpoint; how it works, what's it made of, how it can be used. We've made... significant strides. And we believe we've found a way to capture it.

Quill: Capture it and cram it into something else. (gestures to Pyrrha as she takes a second to realize what that means) Or in your case ...

Pyrrha: (to Ironwood) That's...

Jenny: Classified.

Pyrrha: ... wrong!

Glynda: (glaring at Ironwood) The feeling is mutual. (switches her gaze back to Pyrrha) But desperate times call for desperate measures.

Jenny: And these are indeed desperate times. We can't transfer Amber's power to you, but we can give you what those powers are bound to.

You: ... Her Aura.

Ozpina: Her life... would become intertwined with Mrs Nikos. The question is...

Quill: What's that going to do to you?

Ozpina: (as Pyrrha fully understands the dangers she might face) You have an important decision before you, Miss Nikos. There's no guarantee this transfer will work. And there's no telling if you will be the same person if it does. I advise you to take time on this matter. But understand that before the Vytal Festival is over, we will need your answer.

Pyrrha doesn't respond, instead placing her hand on the glass separating the maiden from her potential replacement, seeing her scared expression reflected on the scarred face of the dying girl, before turning away from this expected destiny as Ozpin gives one final warning.

Ozpina: The assailant that attacked the Fall Maiden has made their first move. And there's no telling when their next move will be.

Jenny: now let's go You gotta a match

We all go before we I remembered the healing harp and I could probably help her

You: she doesn't have to do it

They stop and look at me

Quill: what do you mean kid

You: I remember, the healing harp

I ran back to the pod and put my hand on the glass, I then brought a chair out to sit down

Glynda: y/n what are you talking about

You: I remembered, I healed Mrs sustrai and Mrs black with this

I summoned the harp I used to heal them

They look at it in confusion

Quill: a stringed instrument, and you say I had to much

Ozpina: y/n what can it do

You: it healed, old wounds, all I need is silence and it'll happen

I sat down and played a few coards, I then played a melody

(Healing incantation from tangled on harp. Teddi barclay)

As I played the eyes of the carving opened and out came green light that came out like water and crawled on the sides of the pod. Everyone else was in shock as they watch it happening

Jenny: by the gods

It seaped through the cracks of the pod and wrap around Amber, it burned brightly. When it dissipated it showed Amber good, and her scar gone, they look in to see as well

Jenny: y/n what did you do

You: I healed her

Then we heard banging, we look down to see Amber with wide eyes and trying to yell but nothing. Jenny quickly opens the pod making the maiden gasp out

Amber: what happened! where am I!

Ozpina: Amber, calm your safe

Amber looks around

Amber: what happened?

Glynda: we found yuo wounded, near death, we put you in this pod for you to heal, but a miracle happend

Glynda looks at me and Amber looks at me, but when they all looked at they all grew shocked and worried. I was pale cold, I nearly felt faint, I nearly fell of the chair when Pyrrha caught me

Pyrrha: y/n! What's happening

You: looks like when I heal something this damaging can be tiring, your welcome Amber

Amber: you did this

You: yeah, and I'll introduce myself later after..

I then fainted on the spot, while hearing everyone yell my name

(Later)

I was in a dark void trying to see where I am, then I heard voices. Until I was brought into a light

I look around to see everything blurry, I touched around before feeling my glasses, I put them on and to see I was in the medical wing of Beacon, I see everyone here on the floor or in chairs or even in my bed sleeping, they all started to wake up slowly and see me awake

Ruby: y/n! oh thank gods, your okay!

She comes over and hugs me putting her arms around my neck

You: I'm fine Ruby

Yang: what happened

You: um,  I got attacked by a few grimm while helping, but don't worry, I'm fine

Weiss: next time, we come with you

You: alright

We then heard a knock and Ozpina, Jenny, Glynda, Quill and Amber there with different clothes, she had a shirt with stripes and denim shorts

Jenny: how are you feeling, Mr. L/N

You: I'm fine, just a little light headed

Ozpina: girls can you leave us alone for a minute

Blake: We will, y/n tell us about the fight when your out

They then leave and I looked at them

Amber: thank you, for healing me, Ozpina informed me about you and your power, your very admirable

You: yes, it's lovely to meet you

Ozpina: it's nice to see that your recovering

You: well, I mean it was the right thing to do

Amber: you know, if you were a girl, I would of easily selected you as the next Fall maiden

You: thanks, Amber, it's best to keep hidden, who ever wants your power, is probably here, to get the rest

Amber: I will, I know we just, but I put my Scroll number in yours, so we can talk

You: thanks, I'll just relax a little

Glynda: I hope you feel better

You: Jenny before you go, I have a gift for you

I take out a necklace which had diamonds shapes on it

Jenny: t-thank you y/n

She takes it and puts it in her pockets for safe keeping

They then leave, leaving me alone in the room.

(Later)

I was given the OK to go and left the wing. I was going down the corridors  until a ran into Cinder and her team, I then see that girl from one of there matches, she has black hair tied in long pigtails with white bows, green eyes and white raffles going down her top

You: Cinder, how doing

Cinder: alright

You: and this must be one of your teammate's, ummm

Mercy: oh uh, she barely talks, umm, her name is, Cyana

She nods in agreement but I see her being nervous

You: well it's lovely to meet you Cyana

She mearly waves and smiles, you know she oddly looks familiar

You: have we met before somewhere, you oddly look similar to someone

Cyana nudged her shoulder and a single drop of sweat rolls down her head

Emerald: anyway, we should get back to our dorm

Mercy: yep, see ya y/n, oh and before we go

Mercy comes over and kisses my cheek, and Emerald does the same

Mercy: for good luck in the match~

They then leave, leaving me with a blush on my face, I then continued to go back to my dorm ready for the one-on-one match

You: I wonder who I'm facing tomorrow

I enter the dorm to find Ruby polishing Crescent Rose, Blake on her bed reading, Weiss studying, Yang playing with a paddle ball. When i entered they stopped what they were doing

Ruby: Y/N!

She got of her bed, jumps one me and rapped her legs around me while her arms rapped around my neck, I was caught by suprise but hugged her back

Ruby: So they let you go

You: I'm fine really, I just need a bit of sleep for the match tomorrow

She gets down and looks at me

Ruby: okay

You: if it makes you feel better I'll sleep with you

Ruby: thank you

Blake: so you gonna, tell us about that fight

You: well, um, there were Beowolf's and borbatusks,  it was crazy

Yang: really

You: yeah, I'll go change now, and night

I go to the changing and change in to my P.Js. When I finished I got out, put my glasses on the table and got in with Ruby, she snuggled in with me and I fell asleep, knowing tomorrow is going to be the one-on-one match
