Slowing down to a trot, Daisy at last stopped in front of a flower shop. She had managed to lose her pursuers but in the process she had also lost Duke. The Shih Tzu hoped the Newfoundland mix was safe, wherever he was. Heck, she didn't even know where she was in the city.

Daisy was lost again. In the middle of the chaotic chase, she had lost her bearings. Looking around, the small dog couldn't recognize any landmarks and she wasn't familiar enough with the human written language to read any of the street signs. Daisy sighed softly. She was lost, again.

"Just you wait until I get my claws around your throat you mangy pigeon!" an angry shout rang in the air. Confused, Daisy looked up to witness a taxi driving by. She was surprised to see the red tailed hawk Tiberius riding on the back of it. He wasn't the one who shouted though. That was Ozone, who was running up now. It was clear he had been chasing the hawk. However, a New York taxi cab is a lot faster than any hairless freak on legs when there's no traffic to stop it. Ozone could only watch as his arch nemesis got away.

Then he turned his gaze towards Daisy on the sidelines.

"Uh oh..." Daisy mumbled, already backing up. Slowly padding up to her while his tail flicked side to side, Ozone purred, "Sorry little lady but we haven't caught anyone yet today. And since Snowball ain't here to protect you, you're free for capture." Frowning at that last part, Daisy growled, "What is that supposed to mean?"

"Well, you see, Snowball is a sore loser and so we made him a deal that also involves you-" Ozone was explaining. However, he was interrupted when a bouquet of red roses were shoved into his face. Dropping the flowers, Daisy took this opportunity and bolted. Yes, there were questions swimming in her mind and she wanted them answered. But they could wait. Freedom and safety were more important right now.
