Marinette pov
We entered the throne room to be greeted by Liza . My mother's assistant .
"Good evening princess " she said bowing towards me .
"Good evening Liza. This is Adrien my " I began . I looked at Adrien .
"Boyfriend" he filled in .
We smiled .
Liza looked shocked at the announcement .
"I see" she said noticing Adrien holding my hand .
"Well your parents are out and won't be back till the morning" she declared .
"Ok. So is it alright for me and Adrien have some dinner?"I asked .
"Why of course your highness . I get the cook to make you a meal right away" she said .
"Do my parents know I'm here ?" I asked wondering .
"No . They don't . It will be a surprise for them in the morning ." She said smiling. I smiled back and nodded . I took adrien's hand and took him to the dining room . We had a roast dinner for dinner . I showed Adrien to were he was sleeping and I showed him to my room as well as the bathroom .
I kissed him good night , and went to my room . I got changed into my nightgown and went to sleep .
Time jump
I woke up to my alarm beeping . Today was the day I introduced Adrien to my parents .
I got changed in a red ball gown ,

My red heels ,

And my crystal tiara .

I went in to the corridor to go wake up Adrien . I got to his room and knocked on the door .
"Come in" Adrien said from the inside . I opened the door to see Adrien wearing a black suit .

"Good morning" I said walking to his side .
"Good morning Mari" he said turning to face me .
"Wow you look wonderful" he said kissing my cheek .
"You look snazzy" I said straightening his tie .
"Thanks" he said taking my hand .
"Your welcome . Are you ready?" I asked him .
"As I'll ever be " he said walking to the door and opening it for me . I nodded and walked out Adrien followed me . I took his hand and squeezed it gently.
"Are you nervous?" He asked me seeing me tighten my grip on his hand .
"Can you tell . I mean I haven't seen my parents for 7 years . And the first time I see them I'm introducing my boyfriend to them." I said squeezing his hand tighter .
"It will be alright . I promise." He promised when we reached the throne room .
I took a deep breath and me and Adrien opened the grand double door . Revealing my parents .
"Hello mother , farther." I said greeting them .
They looked up from the floor . They were shocked . My mother ran at me and attacked me with a hug .
"Oh my sweet baby girl . Look at you . So grown up " she said having a look at me .
I smiled at her welcome .
"Who's the young man?" My farther asked walking towards us .
"Umm...He's my boyfriend" I announced . I was honestly nervous about how they would react .
"Boyfriend" my farther repeated
I nodded . Looking over to adrien who honestly looked scared .
"What's your name boy?" Asked my farther making Adrien jump slightly .
"Adrien . Adrien Agreste . Your highness" he replied bowing .
"Have you treated my daughter well?" My farther asked him .
"Yes sir"he replied still bowing .
"Marin . Darling give him a break." My mother asked coming to adrien's rescue .
" So Adrien how long have you know marinette?" My mother asked him .
"I've known marinette for 2 years and 3 months." Adrien replied shocking all of us .
"You can stop bowing Adrien " I told him trying not to giggle .
He stood from the position and stood up straight . He was clearly trying to make an impression on my parents .
I took his hand and smiled .
My mother must've noticed as she smiled brightly .
"Call off the bachelor's Marin ." My mother demanded .
"What why on earth would I do that" my farther remarked .
"Maybe because she's found the one she wants to marry." My mother explained making us both blush. 
"No! She is not marring him" my farther exclaimed pointing at Adrien .
"With all due respect farther . I love Adrien and I am not marring anyone of your choice!"I said . I was fed up of the way my farther was  treating Adrien . Adrien looked at me stunned .
"And if you can't accept Adrien then we will both be going back to Paris" I said stunning everyone including myself .
"Excuse me young lady ! Who do you think you are to speak to me that way!" My farther shouted at me .
"I am your daughter . Also the future queen of this country and how dare you for  treating and speaking to my boyfriend like that!" I replied standing straighter with each word .
I turned round and took adrien's hand and dragged him out . I brought him to the garden . Leaving my farther speechless.
"Wow . Who knew you could do that" Adrien said putting a hand round my waist . I smiled .
"Well that's what happens when he is your farther ." I replied putting my hand on his shoulder . He smiled . I gently kissed him the lips . He kissed back more passionately .
'Well that was unexpected" my mother said without seeing us kiss .
"Oh god sorry" my mother apologized . I broke the kiss .
"It's ok " I said straightening adrien's tie once again.
"Adrien can I ask you something in private please?" My mother asked and with that I went inside .
Adrien pov
"What is it your highness"I asked bowing .
"Please don't bow " she said and with that I straightened my back .
"Do you love  marinette?"she asked .
"Of course I love marinette  . With all my heart."I replied .
"The give her this" she said handing me a box . I looked in the box there was a ring .

"But this is an engagement ring" I stared looking at the queen .
"Exactly . If marinette agrees to marry you her farther can't force her to get married to anyone else and I don't know about you but I won't my daughter to marry for love not just because she's rich and powerful . But because they know that she has a good,  kind heart ." She said almost crying .
" I don't want to lose Mari" I whispered .
"Then ask her . Just not in front of my husband" she said and with that she turned and left . It was set I would take Mari on a date and ask her to be my wife .
I left the garden and went to mari's chambers . To find to be putting a vest on. I walked up behind her and grabbed her waist gently .
"Hi Adrien " she said touching my hands . She turned to face me .
"Hi my princess" I said about to kiss her when her farther barges in the room. Marinette sighed and let go of neck signalling me to let her waist go .
"Yes farther" marinette said annoyed .
"Why is he in here?" He asked her .
"I don't know .  why are you in here"she said . Her farther looked shocked by her attitude . But I just smiled at her .
And with that he left the room and shut the doors behind him .
She placed her arms around my neck once again .
"You know . You will make a wonderful queen" I said putting my hands on her waist . I gently kissed her lips . They were soft compared to mine .
I smiled knowing that I love her and that she loves me . And I know that I will ask her to be mine . But I don't know how she'll react. But I think that the reaction will be good .
I then left her to sleep . I went to my room to find king Marin in my room .
"Your majesty what does me the honour of having you in my bedroom?" I asked politely .
"I want you to leave my daughter " he said.
"Pardon" I said quit loudly .
" I won't you to leave my daughter and go home to Paris . She needs someone who is strong when it come to ruling a kingdom . And your not that person . " He explained .
"Well I'm afraid to say sir that I love your daughter with all my heart and that she loves me back and I'm not going anywhere  . Now not to seem rude but please leave the room so I can go to bed ." I answered and with they he left the room.  I fell asleep shortly after our conversation .
