After we get through the scene where I wash my hands, I got to the side.

"Hi!"

I jump.

"Jesus Christ, dude! You scared me."

"You can take that two ways," Kyle says.

I laugh.

"Harry Finnish Independence Day, dude."

He laughs.

"Thanks! So, spill the tea!"

"What tea? If I had tea, I would drink it, not spill it."

He groans and I just laugh.

"What do you want me to spill?" I ask.

"Did Gary call you?"

"No, he texted."

"Oh fabulous. Did he say anything interesting?"

"I swear to god you sound like a girl."

"Shut up and tell me! I'm pan, I can sound like a gay best friend if I wanna!"

"He asked me for coffee."

"What did you answer?"

"I said a 'sure', I mean, there ain't anything to loose—."

"Other than your religion."

"SHUT IT!"

"Aw... defensive much?"

"I swear to God, Kyle—."

"You're Atheist."

"No, I believe in the metric system."

"Oh whatever. Remember to play it safe, don't want any STD's."

"KYLE!"

He laughs.

"C'mon, you're both so cute."

"I think a dude is attractive and you do this?"

"Of course, I want to be an uncle!"

"WE'RE NOT RELATED!"

"Oh thank Goodness, that'd be kinda awkward."

"How would you be the uncle of my kid if—?"

"I'll adopt you."

"Then you're a grandfather."

"Name it after me at least."

"No, it's going to be Eric if you don't shut it."

"Bitch, you wouldn't."

"Watch me."

Both of us start laughing.

"So how is Kenny?" I ask.

"They said the case might get done in a year if we are lucky."

"But... they have proof."

"And they're poor. Those two cancel each other."

"No, logically, they don't."

"Stan, it's lovely that you think so highly of our system but poor people don't get helped quite as fast as people with money to give. That's just how it is."

"Scratch being a fucking teacher, I'm running for president!"

"Legally, no, you can't do th—."

"First teacher then I make the kids my army and run for president with them."

"I mean.... it's sad that it's a very solid plan..."

"Of course it's solid, Ky, I made it."

"I honestly believe that soon enough murdering to become president will be legal."

"You don't know the Russian situation?"

"I do but in America or any country that prides itself on these kinds of thing... like freedom of speech."

"Stop being depressing!" I say.

"You're right, you're absolutely right. I'm just being annoying."

I nod.

"KYLE! Your scene!"

He smiles and puts a hand on my shoulder.

"We'll figure Kenny's situation out soon enough," he says.

"Paint their parents black? Cops have no problems arresting black people."

"We don't want them shot, we want them in jail."

"Yeah true."

He smiles yet again and goes to do his scene. Poor Kenny... in more than one way... really, fuck the system. When they don't need to do it, they arrest poor people left and right. But when they are actually doing something wrong, it takes forever for them to get it.

~I didn't mean to make that joke so political. Also POV change.... no surprise there.~

"We need to have a good old slumber party again!" Nichole says.

Why am I stood here again?

"Yeah! We can take Leo again!"

Oh Leo but not me I guess.

"Oh hi Ken!" Theresa says, waving.

I wave back, looking at the girls.

"You two are way too cute."

I roll my eyes at this.

"Why am I here again?" I ask.

"We want to see how close we can get Candy because Cartman is clearly changing because of it. And you're his best friend so we thought you would know."

I sigh.

"Is it really healthy to put Wendy, a very sweet and physically strong girl, with someone who is incredibly emotionally manipulative?"

Heidi nods.

"She knows him... and really, Cartman really can be fairly sweet without taking anything from it, I'm just not strong minded enough to keep myself in that shithole long enough for it to be a positive influence that sticks. He just hasn't been told what to do the right way, his mom did teach him empathy at all."

"But I know for a fact there is something wrong with him. I'm not sure if a positive influence is enough without him getting serious help," I say.

"Wait! There is?! I knew he was a Narcissist!"

"No no, he's not. Really, I would call it a shut down."

"What does shut down mean exactly?"

"Well... I probably shouldn't talk about this but he....um.... how do I say this...... has, due to trauma, shut down some parts of his brain. One of those is empathy. At worst, it's called a real fucking illness, it's a trauma illness that doesn't exist."

"Oh shit.... I knew he didn't mean it when he said sorry!" Heidi says.

I shake my head.

"Cartman is..... complicated, that's the nice way to say it. I think he may be getting a feeling of regret. Nowhere fucking near what a normal human has but he has apologised to me for the very first time a while ago. He said he doesn't understand what he did wrong but he is sorry? Which is so hard to imagine happening to someone.... like, not knowing what fault you caused but being sorry for that fault is halfway there I guess."

"Wendy might be helping, I could see that being the case," Bebe says.

"How? How exactly is she helping someone that honest sounds sort of like a sociopath? Forcing empathy is a clear fucking sign of that, it's a sign of being a sociopath," Jennifer says.

"He's most definitely not a sociopath. That much I know. I do t know where he falls but he isn't either one of those. Psychopath or sociopath. However, Antisocial personality disorder I would see. But never diagnose anybody, I'm simply stating that yes he lacks a moral code but he has emotions... strong ones. He doesn't only cry because 'that hurt', he fears, he's a complex person that feels a lot of things.... amongst other a slightly empathy. I have noticed that. But not because of Wendy, she might encourage him but he himself is clearly seeing his flaws and trying to make it better."

"Oh I'm sorry that i fucking can't help but to assume."

I sigh.

"Just....... Wendy should come first here."

"Should we ask her?" Heidi asks.

They nods and i sigh.

"Are we gonna invite Stan?"

"Oh of course! He did help us out!" Bebe says.
