(No point of view)

The Honorary Knights were called on over to Jean's office in the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. They consisted of Aether, Paimon, Kiana, Kallen, Selune's Elgy, and Theresa. They entered into Jean's office.

Jean: ...Thank you for coming on such a short notice, Honorary Knights. I know you must be busy.

Kiana: Not really. Well most of us are. Mei went off to go do something with Sakura, Patrick went off to go do something with Toriyama, Rita is doing something with Noelle, Durandal is out training while looking for super strong monsters to fight against, and Seele is with Bronya.

Jean: Well, to make a long story short, there is a particular matter at hand that the Knights requires your assistance with.

Aether: The Knights are as busy as ever.

Jean: *sigh* Yes, it has been one thing after another recently. Neither myself nor any of the Mondstadt garrison are able to catch a moment of peace. I have recently received multiple reports from the Knights of someone within the Lawerence Clan having close dealings with the Fatui.

Kiana and Paimon: The Fatui! Again!?

Paimon: But who are the Lawrence Clan?

Jean: There was a dark period in Mondstadt's history when the aristocracy ruled over the city. The hard-won freedom that followed with the fall of Decarabian was lost once again, as slavery spread throughout the land. The first Dandelion Knight, Vennessa, spearheaded the revolution that overthrew the old aristocratic system and established the Knights of Favonius, leading Mondstadt to become the city that you see today. The aristocrats, that had oppressed the people of Mondstadt, were none other than the Lawrence Clan.

Paimon: Oh, Paimon gets it. So the clan's descendants are now scheming with the bad guys to carry out more dubious deeds?

Jean: ...We suspect as much, though we have yet to obtain any solid evidence. The reason I summoned you here today is to ask you to help us further investigate this matter.

Kiana: Looks like we'll have another shot at proving that the Fatui are criminals in Mondstadt.

Aether: But, why us?

Jean: *sigh* Unfortunately, the Knights of Favonius and the aristocracy have been at odds with one another for as long as I can remember. We have already considered every possible way of resolving our differences, but it seems the descendants of the aristocracy remain antagonistic towards the Knights... ...No matter what stance we take when dealing with them, the outcome is always the same... Our efforts only result in adding more fuel to the flames.

Kallen: How unfortunate.

Jean: We could come knocking on their door on the grounds of a search warrant, but if the investigation were to come out empty, I'm afraid the tensions and distrust would only increase.

Theresa: They can cover up their tracks and destroy all evidence

Jean: All of our past efforts would have been wasted...

Aether: But as Honorary Knights, we technically also belong to the Knights...

Theresa: The same thing could happen to us too.

Jean: You are in fact the best candidates to represent the Knights of Favonius. But you need not emphasize your role as the Honorary Knights. You are travelers from a distant land, and you can approach the aristocrats in this way. Once you come to friendly terms with the Lawrence Clan, you should be in a good position to learn more of their possible connections with the Fatui.

Paimon: Whoa, leave it to Master Jean to come up with such a thorough plan.

Kiana: So we approach them not as knights but as travelers. Good plan.

Jean: Aha, perhaps such plans have become second nature after all the diplomatic issues I've dealt with. The name of the Lawrence Clan member in question is Schubert. Lately, he can often be found strolling in the northern city walls. It is said that he is difficult to get along with due to his temperamental disposition, but if we approach him calmly, then things should go off without a hitch.

Aether: Leave it to us.

Kallen: We'll get the job done.

Theresa: We'll be sure to bust them up.

Kiana: You can count on us.

Selune's Elgy: We'll do it.

Jean: Thank you again for your help. If you run into any snags along the way, I'll do anything in my power to support you.

Kiana: Thank you Master Jean. We'll be off now.

Jean: Schubert can be quite touchy, so it may not be easy to get along with him at first. But as long as matters remain calm, then you should be able to come to friendly terms with him.

They exited out of Jean's office then went to go find Schubert.

Kiana: A task where the Kaslana family is together.

Theresa: Technically I'm Apocalypse but I still have Kaslana blood inside of me.

Kallen: I'm an ancestor but still alive today.

They went to the wall where there was a mysterious man.

Selune's Elgy: You think that's him?

Paimon: Only one way to find out.

They went up to the man.

???: Huh? Who are you?

Paimon: Hello, we're here to...

???: Hmph... "Hello"?

Aether: Yeah, what's wrong?

???: "What's wrong"? Did you just say "what's wrong"?

Kallen: You have a problem with us?

???: Hmph! A problem? Of course I do. And I suppose you think that you can simply strut up here and greet me in such an ignoble and vulgar manner? Given that I don't recognize you, I can only assume that you are travelers of some variety. I'll have you know that you are speaking with the Schubert Lawrence, a blood descendant of the magnanimous nobility.

Kiana: You're Schubert Lawrence?

Schubert: If you wish to address me, you'd best consider your words more carefully. Such nonchalant manners are inadmissible and will never do. Now, if you're somehow capable of understanding anything I've said, then you will get down on your knees, apologize for you negligent actions, and give me a proper introduction. That is proper etiquette!

Paimon: That's etiquette? Paimon's never heard of something so complicated before!

Schubert: Hmph, in former times when people knew their place and respected traditions, such conduct was only basic courtesy when greeting a nobleman. And neglecting your manners would result in a swift whipping. *sigh* But look at the world now, rules have been thrown to the wayside and manners forgotten. Ugh, I cannot bear to see such degradation.

Aether: Sounds like too much hassle to me...

Schubert: What did you say? You dare question the dignity of the nobility? I'll have you know that though the Lawrence Clan is in decline, myself and others of noble blood are looking for a chance to restore our rightful honor.

Kiana: Well your clan did a lot of horrible stuff to Mondstadt involved with slavery. And slavery is just so wrong.

Schubert: Wrong you say? My clan never did anything wrong or horrible. Just look around, the people are unruly and undisciplined! I, however, strive to retain the elegance and etiquette of the nobility. After all, we are of a completely different breed by birth.

Aether: We haven't even said anything yet...

Schubert: Save your words, I find your manners and bearing repulsive. I have nothing to discuss with the likes of you. Besides, I am in no way obligated to instruct commoners on basic courtesies. Now, I have more pressing matters to attend to. I'll take my leave.

Schubert left them. Kiana snapped her fingers then ice appeared underneath him then he slipped and fell on his back. Then the Honorary Knights fled before he figured out that it was Kiana.

Paimon: So this is what Master Jean meant by "difficult to get along with"?

Kiana: He's such a big meany.

Theresa: If he said something insulting to me I would have used the Oath of Judah on him.

Kallen: I guess he hates it when people talk casual.

Paimon: *sigh* Let's head back and talk things over to her.

As they headed back to the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, Amber was at the door.

Amber: Well, if it isn't the Honorary Knights! I'm just on my way out to gather some intel. I didn't expect to run into you here!

Kiana: Oh, hey Amber.

Amber: Huh? Judging by your expressions, you must have run into some trouble.

Theresa: We have.

Paimon: Master Jean tasked us with a special assignment, but things seem to have run aground for the moment.

Aether: It wasn't our fault.

Kiana: That guy was a big meany.

Amber: No need to get down on yourself, sometimes things just don't turn out as planned. Even I can't guarantee useful intel every time I'm dispatched. You just have to keep at it and never give up!

Aether: Thank you.

Amber: Hehe! Hey, why don't you let me try to help? What's the problem?

Paimon: Master Jean asked us to build a connection with someone named Schubert Lawrence.

Paimon: But it turns out that he's a peculiar character that doesn't listen to anyone... Especially Paimon.

Kiana: And he does not want to speak to anyone.

Kallen: And he hates casual conversations.

Amber: Aha, Schubert, I know him! Let me guess, he said you didn't have any manners.

Kiana: Yes.

Aether: Sounds like you're no stranger to his rants...

Amber: Hehehe, I've been on the receiving end of his lectures many a time. The Lawrence clan can be very particular about such things.

Paimon: Uh... You mean everyone in the Lawrence Clan is just a big headache?

Amber: As aristocrats, they believe there should be a certain distance between themselves and common folk. *sigh* I understand their thinking, but that's just not how things are anymore.

Kiana: Then what is?

Amber: However, there is one exception among the Lawrence Clan. My good buddy — Eula!

Kiana: Eula?

Paimon: B—Buddy?

Amber: That's right! Not only is she from the Lawrence Clan, but she's also Captain of the Knights of Favonius 4th Company.

Aether: Jean told us that the Lawrence Clan sees the Knights as enemies.

Kiana: How could a member of the Lawrence Clan join the Knights?

Amber: Eula is special! She's not quite like the other members of her clan. She has her own beliefs and it shows.

Theresa: What do you mean her own beliefs and it shows?

Amber: In other words, she doesn't really adhere to the strict rules and conventions of her family. However, she's still quite knowledgeable about dealing with the Lawrences. I'm sure you'll see what I mean if you meet her.

Paimon: Hmm, that's strange. If Eula is a member of the Lawrence Clan, then why would Master Jean choose us for the task? Couldn't she just ask Eula?

Amber: Ah, well... It's a little complicated. Basically, the Lawrence clan has frowned upon the fact that Eula joined the Knights, her family members don't particularly care for her...

Kiana: So they hate her.

Amber: Yes. In their eyes, Eula is nothing but a traitor to the family.

Kallen: She sounds like quite the character.

Aether: I guess that's understandable from their point of view...

Amber: She's very easy to get along with. Just explain the situation and I'm sure she'll help you come up with a way to get along with Schubert.

Theresa: Ok, we'll do that. Where do we find her?

Amber: In fact, I think she's out in the wilderness on patrol this morning. You should be able to find her around Stormbearer Mountains.

Paimon: Thanks, Amber! Alright, you heard her, let's go find Eula!

Amber: Good luck, you guys! I've got my own matters to investigate!

They parted ways.

Paimon: Who would've guessed the Knights have a member of the Lawrence Clan... Well, if you want to learn about the conduct of Lawrence clan, who better to ask than one of their own family members?

(Stormbearer Mountains)

They got to the Stormbearer Mountains only to see Fatui soldiers.

Paimon: Huh, the Fatui? What are they doing here! Is that why Eula was sent on patrol here? Ugh... Let's fight first and talk later!

Kiana: We're gonna prove to Mondstadt that they're criminals this time. Neko... Charm!

An ice cat paw appeared out of nowhere and hit a Fatui Soldier.

Fatui Soldier: Huh?!

Then they charged in.

Kiana and Kallen took out their new guns and shot Cryo bullets at the Fatui Bracers. Selune's Elgy froze a Fatui Agent before he could disappear and turn invisible. Theresa then electrocutes the Fatui Agent. Kiana used her Neko-Charm once again to counter against an Electrohammer Vanguard's hammer. Then she did a Neko-Charm kick and sent the Electrohammer Vanguard flying away. Theresa sent her Electro spears and stabbed more Fatui soldiers. Kiana and Kallen were now back to back.

Kallen: Feels great to shoot guns again doesn't it, my descendant?

Kiana: Yes! It feels great to shoot guns again, my ancestor!

Together they shoot more Cryo Bullets.

Just as they thought they defeated the last Fatui Soldier, a Pyroslinger Bracer on top of the tower aimed at Aether then shot at him and as they prepared to deflect the blast, somebody else did. It was a blue haired young woman with a claymore. She swiftly ran to the Bracer dodging his blasts then jumping up the tower then taking him out with ice slashes. She returned back down.

Kiana: So fast.

Kallen: So swift.

Theresa: Could that be?

???: You don't think twice before reaching for your swords, do you? Ugh... do you have any idea how long I've been tracing these targets?

Kiana: No.

???: ...And now you get to stake a claim. Hmph, you think you're stronger because you got to them first? Ugh... mark my words, vengeance will be mine!

Kiana: What do you mean vengeance will be yours?

Paimon: ...Uh, what?

Aether: I'm sorry, vengeance?

???: That's right. I heard the commotion and came as swiftly as I could, only to find you  already fighting the Fatui. Not only that, you were making quick work of them, too! If I didn't make my move, you would have been able to take all the credit! Still, I'm glad you're unscathed. Confronting that number of Fatui at once can be dangerous.

Aether: Actually, we're quite used to fighting the Fatui.

Kiana: We've been trying to prove to Mondstadt that the Fatui are criminals but they're always covering up their tracks, destroying all evidence, preventing us from calling in any eye witnesses, and knocking us out unconscious.

???: Have you really?

Theresa: Yes.

Paimon: Uh... Sorry, Paimon doesn't understand what you mean... but thanks for your concern.

???: Concern? Why would I be concerned for the safety of my arch-enemies?

Paimon: "Arch-enemies"? Wait a minute! You were saying how glad you were that we were "unscathed" a second ago!

???: By which I meant, if you were injured, I'd have to escort six strangers guilty of stealing my targets all the way back to Mondstadt... Which would mean you'd caused me even more trouble... my vengeance would be swifter still!

Paimon: Huh? So that's how you see all this!

Kiana: We didn't mean to steal your targets.

???: I don't care. I still want vengeance.

Kiana: We just didn't know that you were out here and we were just looking for you.

Eula: Looking for me?

Kiana: Yes! That's the reason why we're out here! We were looking for you!

Eula: I don't care why you're out here. There is only vengeance.

Aether: So you must be Eula?

Eula: Yes, that's me.

Paimon: Paimon thinks she's pretty strange... Although, at least we can communicate with her.

Eula: You dare to call someone you've just met "strange"? Forget the aristocracy, that's rude even by normal standards! Speaking of which... how do you know my name?

Paimon: They are the Honorary Knights of the Knights of Favonius. And speaking of rude, we're trying to investigate an aristocrat named Schubert Lawrence.

Theresa: One of your family members.

Paimon: He's so obsessed with etiquette that he's not even willing to speak with us.

Kiana: And he's so mean. I had to punish him by making him slip on ice for being so mean to us.

Eula: Hahaha! I understand now. That's my uncle alright. But why do you mean to investigate him?

Aether: He may be secretly involved with the Fatui.

Eula: I see... Haha, you have some nerve defaming a family member right in front of me. I will have vengeance for this, too!

Paimon: No, no, no! This is a assignment from Master Jean! It's just an investigation, that's all!

Kallen: We don't know if he's involved with the Fatui yet.

Aether: Aren't you curious about your uncle?

Eula: To the everyday citizens of Mondstadt, everyone in the Lawrence clan is scum. It's natural for rumors and unwarranted gossip to lead to such suspicion.

Paimon: Hard to avoid such a reputation when you're known as the ruthless rulers of Old Mondstadt.

Kiana: Doing horrible stuff and putting people into slavery.

Eula: So that's what you think of me? Yet another transgression to avenge...

Paimon: But didn't you say it first!? Argh...

Kiana: No! We don't think of you that way!

Eula: Hahaha, curious... We've only just met, and you've already given me three causes for vengeance. It's been a while since I've encountered anyone as interesting as you.

Aether: Why do you seem so happy about it?

Eula: I assume you need me to teach you the conduct of the Lawrence clan. Only then will you finally be able to communicate with my uncle, correct?

Paimon: That's right. Amber told us to come and talk to you.

Theresa: So we can speak to your uncle the right way.

Eula: Well then, let's begin your training immediately. It'll be easier to train when we're back in Mondstadt, we'll require other people.

Aether: But aren't you plotting vengeance against us?

Eula: We can put that aside for now. Besides, if it's the Acting Grand Master's assignment, and Amber's the one who recommended me, I should comply.

Kiana: Thank you.

With that they began to go back to Mondstadt.

Paimon: Uh... Paimon's confused... This girl's all "vengeance this" and "revenge that," but she doesn't seem the least bit angry...

Theresa: Patrick wanted revenge on my Grandpa for murdering billions of people.

Kiana: To complete his revenge, he needed to kill him to avenge all the people he's killed.

Kallen: The only reason why he did so many horrible things was so he can bring me back.

Kiana: My father brought shame to my family because of how he ran away.

Paimon: Still, Paimon has met bigger weirdos before...

Kiana: So have we.

Eula: So this Patrick wants vengeance on this evil man you speak of? I've been listening to your conversation.

Kiana: Yes. You have no idea how he felt. He was so angry that day that he wanted to kill everyone that wronged us.

Eula: He actually went that far?!

Theresa: Yes. I saw it with my own eyes. He sent a barrage that killed a lot of people. He tried to kill my grandpa but could not because of how unstoppable he was and how he has everyone fooled.

Kallen: You have no idea what they've been through.

Eula: Just how violent was his revenge?

Kiana: We'll tell you later.

(Later)

Eula: Ah, you've finally arrived. There's no time to spare, so we'll begin with our first lesson...

Paimon: Wait, hold on! There's something we need to clear up first, otherwise it'll keep bugging us!

Aether: About all that "vengeance" stuff...

Theresa: You still want revenge on us don't you?

Eula: *sigh* So that's still on your mind, huh? Maybe you're the ones who can't let things go. Don't worry, there's a time and place for exacting vengeance. Besides, I'm not in the mood for any right now, best save it for later.

Paimon: Uh... you need to be in the right "mood" for vengeance?

Eula: I already have a long list of vengeance to exact. Even if I wanted to begin now, I'd have to start in the right order. Who knows how long it will be before I get to you.

Paimon: Hehe, well... if you have so much to take care of, wouldn't it just be easier to give us a clean slate?

Eula: Absolutely, not! Stealing my targets, calling me a "ruthless ruler," and suspecting my uncle... all worthy of vengeance in my eyes!

Kiana: Look we didn't mean to steal your targets, we just didn't know that the Fatui were your targets.

Eula: No matter, I still want vengeance.

Kallen: Don't you ever think about anything else besides vengeance or revenge?

Eula: I don't.

Aether: She's definitely counting...

Eula: But you needn't worry, at least, not whilst we're investigating this matter. I'm sure you're familiar with the phrase: "A man of moral integrity fears no slanderous attack." If Uncle Schubert didn't commit any wrongdoing, then any such investigation will prove fruitless. But if he did commit a wrongful act, then he should bear the full punishment. I'm sure you understand.

Kiana: We do. Aristocrats can be great big selfish jerks. And slavery is just wrong.

Theresa: Very wrong. My grandpa turned a lot of children into slaves of experimentation.

Aether: I think I'm starting to see what you mean.

Eula: Good. Now, there are two key points that aristocrats attach great importance to — your manner of speech, and your bearing. Let's begin with your manner of speech. Aristocrats have a very unique way of carrying conversation, even with mundane daily topics.

Paimon: Oh! Paimon's already learned some unique conversation! "Mark my words, vengeance will be mine!"

Eula: ... Not even close. And besides, it sounds strange.

Paimon: Hey! Paimon learned it from you! And didn't you say not to call others "strange"!? It seems you don't respect the rules of your own clan!

Eula: No, I've no need to trouble myself with such frivolous formalities. Here, allow me to demonstrate. For example, when greeting a friend, you could say: "As the morning dew greets the coming dawn, so do I greet you, my dear friend."

Paimon: Uh... As the morning dew does what now?

Eula: However, such a phrase may only be used during the morning hours. Also, the party with whom you're speaking must be of approximately the same status as you. Morning dew is not uncommon, so it expresses that friendship should not be measured by value, yet also suggests that friendship between aristocrats is pure like water.

Kiana: Auntie Theresa. Kallen. You both were raised by nobles, why didn't you use manners?

Theresa: Uh... because we didn't think of using them.

Kallen: It's been a long g time since we've had to use manners and we're rusty.

Aether: Seems like a lot of work just to greet a good friend.

Eula: No no no, you must be prudent with your words. Calling someone a "good friend" could easily offend them.

Paimon: Uh... But didn't you just say my "dear friend" in your example? Paimon's confused...

Eula: Yes, I did. But you must know, in the Lawrence family, "dear friend" is a set phrase that can only be used towards certain friends with whom one is acquainted, but not particularly close. It sounds much more pleasant to call an acquaintance a "dear friend." So another thing to remember — aristocrats are concerned with face and being polite. However, if you were to use "dear friend" to address an intimate friend, the recipient would think that you were deliberately trying to estrange them.

Aether and Kiana: This is getting complicated!

Eula: This is only the first step in making a greeting. After addressing one another, you then exchange courtesies.

Paimon: Wait, wait! This is all too abstract... Um... Perhaps it would be better if you... gave some real-life demonstrations.

Eula: Ah... Very well. Come with me, we'll choose some bystanders to converse with.

They tried talking to the people in the plaza but none of them wanted to speak to Eula because of how she's from the Lawrence Clan. The Kaslanas tried to reason with the people and say that Eula is nothing like the Lawrence's but they didn't care what they said.

Paimon: Uh, Paimon thinks we've seen enough now. Let's just stop.

Kiana: Yeah, nobody will listen to you or to reason.

Paimon: Actually, Paimon thinks we should apologize for asking you to demonstrate for us. We had no idea the feelings between the Lawrence Clan and the people of Mondstadt were so bitter.

Eula: Haha, what can we do? The Lawrence name is already a dirty word among every household in Mondstadt. Even three-year-olds know the story. I see this kind of attitude all the time.

Aether: And somehow you still manage to brush it off with a laugh?

Eula: Don't worry, what with me being a Knight of Favonius, they're usually willing to speak a few words with me.

Kallen: Like what?

Eula: Perhaps my aristocratic manner of speech provoked them today. Believe me, it's not a big issue.

Paimon: So this is the way things are normally for you? There's no need for them to direct their anger at you personally.

Eula: That's the way things are. Perhaps it's just fate for those who've made mistakes. Accepting punishment is only fair, right? But when your family has committed atrocities, I'm afraid there's no easy path to reconciliation. As memories are carried in the city breeze, the faults of such grievances are passed on from one generation to the next. It is now my turn to bear this burden.

Theresa whispers to Kiana and Kallen.

Theresa: I bet the same thing would happen if Adolf Hitler had descendants and everyone would despise descendants of Hitler.

Eula: At least I have a means of living a relatively normal life compared to the elders of my family. I have nothing to be discontented about.

Aether: So you knew all along that we'd encounter these kinds of problems?

Paimon: Yeah, why were you so willing to try and demonstrate for us?

Eula: Oh, that reminds me... that last person will not escape my vengeance either...

Theresa: Who?

Eula: *sigh* Let's leave it at that. Just think of it as something I like to do. But unfortunately, you probably didn't learn much from those conversations. It seems we have no other choice but to find more people to talk to.

Paimon: Uh, n—no need! Besides, the Valkyries and the Traveler's pretty sharp, and nothing gets in our way on an adventure. Paimon thinks we've got the gist of it now. Right? RIGHT!?

Aether: Uh... Yeah, I think I've got it.

Paimon: We'll just have to roll with it for now. Let's just keep Eula from getting anyone else riled up.

Kiana: Or else someone will start a riot.

Eula: Well then, I'm glad you learned something. You're already halfway toward mastering aristocratic conduct. A proper manner of speech is more aesthetic than anything else — it stems from their taste for refinement. But we must also practice your bearing.

Kiana: Our bearing?

Eula: I have a very effective way of training for this. Come with me to Dragonspine.

(Dragonspine)

They were now in Dragonspine in their winter clothing like before when they were doing Albedo's side quest.

Paimon: It's s—so c—cold... Does aristocrat training really need to be done here?

Eula: If you wish to truly achieve the dignified conduct of an aristocrat, you must learn to remain composed and elegant even amidst harsh conditions. For example, you can see that part of the path up ahead is quite difficult to traverse. But a well-trained aristocrat would not only effortlessly proceed forward, but do so without a stain on their garment and their elegance fully intact.

Paimon: Paimon thinks we've let the realm of aristocrats and entered the realm of adventuring.

Kiana: Yeah.

Paimon: Compared to what we've already seen, guys, this should be a piece of cake.

Aether: Should be way easier than making conversation, at least.

Paimon: Paimon thinks so too... But you've got this in the bag!

Kiana: I've competed in obstacle courses before and I've been able to overcome a ton.

Eula: Haha, you look pretty confident this time. Alright, let's get started. Remember, you must be graceful and elegant. Don't get knocked or launched into the air, that would be most unsightly.

Kallen: Don't worry Eula, we won't.

Eula: Good luck! Just remember, don't get knocked or launched into the air. That would be most inelegant.

[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]

First Aether and Paimon went up. Then Kallen and Selune's Elgy, then Theresa, and then Kiana. They got through the traps, the hilichurls, and the walls. One by one they got through the obstacles.

Kiana: We did it!

Eula: Not bad. A lot better than I had anticipated, at least.

Paimon: *panting* Paimon almost didn't make it through! Whew, good thing we didn't get stuck.

Kiana: Obstacle courses are nothing to me.

Paimon: Um... so... are we "acristocrats" now?

Eula: Don't flatter yourselves. We've only just begun. This scenario was relatively simple. In the face of a real battle, one would seldom have a chance to stop and evaluate the situation.

Theresa: So... What's next?

Eula: There's a Ley Line Monolith just up ahead that will attract nearby monsters. True elegance is the ability to calmly yet swiftly make decisions in the heat of the battle.

Aether: Is this how you normally train?

Eula: My family set only the highest expectations for me, even as a child. Let's proceed, shall we?

They went to the Ley Line Monolith.

Eula: This is the Ley Line Monolith. Go ahead, activate it. But be careful not to get launched into the air or frozen while fighting. That would be most unsightly.

Kiana: Too bad Patrick, Fu Hua, and Sakura are not here. We could really use their flames. But we have something else for warmth. We'll freeze those enemies.

When the three Kaslanas and Aether touched it, it activated and enemies started coming. Kiana and Kallen drew out their crossbows instead of their guns and shot at the monsters. Aether and Theresa charged in and went for close combat on the monsters. Selune's Elgy went into the shadows and slashed through the monsters. They finally managed to defeat all the monsters from laying a single finger on the Ley Line Monolith as the clock reached zero.

Then the montage song ended.

Eula: Well done. Your performance was most impressive.

Kiana: It sure was.

Eula: And you managed to remain calm even in these grueling Dragonspine surroundings, haha. I'm starting to wonder if even I could have done the same.

Kallen: You could.

Eula: Given such an outstanding performance, it seems there is little left for me to teach you.

Paimon: Like Paimon said, adventuring is our specialty!

Kallen: My descendants and I are great because we are from the same family.

Paimon: Hehe... So that's it for our training, right? Then let's get out of Dragonspine before Paimon turns into a popsicle! *shivers*

Eula: Hold on. I was commending Travelers' performance just now. You, on the other hand, seem to have made no progress at all!

Paimon: What? You mean, Paimon was also part of the training!?

Eula: Yes, of course. You were frantically flying and dashing about throughout the entire thing. Not an elegant sight at all.

Selune's Elgy: And you didn't fight at all since you can't fight.

Eula: Did you even listen to anything I was trying to teach you?

Aether: Maybe that's just Paimon's style?

Paimon: Hey, that's not true! Paimon was just focusing on you the whole time!

Eula: Whatever the reason, not heeding my instructions... a cause for vengeance, perhaps...

Eula: *sigh* Now, drink this.

Paimon: Huh? What is it? *gasp* Are you trying to poison Paimon!?

Eula: Certainly not. It's warm milk.

Eula: Didn't you say you were freezing? Drink it and it'll help warm you up.

Paimon drank up.

Paimon: Oh... uh... thank you! Um, are you... still planning on the whole vengeance thing?

Eula: If I wasn't, then why would I care about you being cold? If you turned into a Paimon popsicle, that would ruin my plans for vengeance now, wouldn't it... So, "dear friend"... don't die on me out here.

Paimon: Ahh! Paimon knew something was off!

Aether: You're... strange.

Eula: Hehe, vengeance should know no bounds, you know... Now then, given that your training is complete, it's time we return to Mondstadt. Our last step will be preparing a cordial gift to present to my uncle when you meet him. I already have something in mind. Let's pay Sara a visit at Good Hunter

(Good Hunter)

As they got to Good Hunter, Amber was there.

Amber: Oh, hey Eula! I see you've met the Honorary Knights!

Paimon: We meet again, Amber! Seems we're just bound to run into you these days.

Amber: Well, I just got back and was thinking about grabbing a bite at Good Hunter. But now that you're here, why don't we all eat together?

Eula: Very well. It's been some time since we've last shared a meal together. Come, take a seat. We can discuss my uncle's gift while we eat.

Accepting Amber's invitation, they and Eula sit at the table.

Eula: AAH! WHOA! So fast!

Eula was shocked at seeing Kiana eat fast.

Theresa: Thats my niece for you. She has a huge appetite and can eat a lot.

Eula: How indecent. Eating like that.

Eula ordered last.

Sara: Yes, is there something else you'd like to order?

Eula: Could you please prepare a serving of my uncle's favorite, Gebratenes Fleisch mit Sauerkraut? We'll take it as a gift to him later.

Sara: Coming right up! It'll take some time to prepare, I'll have it here at the counter once it's ready.

Eula: Hold on a moment. Is this Satisfying Salad also something that Amber ordered?

Sara: No, she didn't order it. But because she didn't order any vegetables, I thought I'd throw in a salad on the house. You know, to contrast all the meat dishes.

Eula: So... we clearly didn't order this, yet you prepared it without authorization... Hmph! Mark my words, this transgression will not go unnoticed!

Paimon: Uh... you're gonna take revenge on her giving us a free salad!?

Kiana: You can't do that! Sara is just being nice to us!

Eula: Shut up! I must always take vengeance on everything!

Kiana flinched back. Then she got back to eating.

Sara: You should know me by now, that's the kind of villainous character I am! Hehe...

Theresa: At least you don't think Eula is like the Lawrences because of what they've done.

Sara: I know that Eula is not like them. She is a Knight of Favonius and she wanted nothing to do with them. Well then... please wait a moment while I get the dish for your uncle started.

Eula: Hmph, delicious unauthorized delicacies... Sara will pay for this.

Paimon: Why would you choose Gebratenes Fleisch mit Sauerkraut as a gift for your uncle? Paimon's never even heard of that dish before...

Eula: This dish isn't actually on Good Hunter's menu. Only longstanding patrons such as my uncle would know about the dish. The old aristocrats seem to take a liking to it.

Amber: Because of the sour flavor of the sauerkraut, not too many people are fond of it these days. I guess it's become less popular over time. Eula treated me to the dish once, and I couldn't even finish a bite. I've nicknamed it "Gebratenes Fleisch mit Vengeance" ever since. Yuck!

Kiana: Guess your mouth couldn't handle its texture.

Kallen: But Eula's mouth could handle its texture.

Eula: I never expected us to have such completely different tastes in food... If I weren't in such a good mood, I'd say that constitutes grounds for transgression...

Aether: Huh, so even Amber doesn't escape your vengeance?

Eula: Of course not! It's hard to find someone in Mondstadt that attracts contempt as much as she does.

Amber: Haha, it's fine when you're just joking between us, but I'm afraid our Honorary Knights might misunderstand you.

Amber turned to the Valkyries and Aether.

Amber: Eula's always talking about vengeance, but that's just how she is. It's nothing you should take too seriously.

Kallen: You could say that again.

Eula: But I am serious! And I'll remember every transgression committed against me! Ugh, it's no wonder so many people dislike you!

Paimon: Paimon's starting to realize that Eula is actually a very good person. There's no need to be so awkward when you want to say something nice.

Eula: *sigh* Listen, you've never been labeled as a social pariah, have you?

Paimon: What... well... no...?

Eula: So that's why you wouldn't understand how hard it is for a bad person to try to be good. It's impossible for me, and I have no intention of acting like a good person.

Kiana: But you have been acting like a good person. You do so many good things for the people of Mondstadt but they never see your heroics or your good deeds. You need to understand.

Eula: Alright, no need to look so sullen... I'm just kidding. Come on, let's eat. The food is getting cold.

After an awkward pause, everyone resumes cheerfully chatting and enjoys the meal. Halfway through the meal, Eula asks Kiana something.

Eula: Kiana.

Kiana: Huh?

Eula: That crest you, your aunt, and ancestor have. What is it?

Kiana: This crest?

Kiana puts her right hand on her chest over the crest.

Kiana: Oh, it's our family crest.

Theresa: I'm actually Apocalypse but I'm also Kallen's copy and Kaslana blood flows through me.

Kiana: I also have Schariac blood inside of me.

Kiana, Kallen, and Theresa told the history of their three families to Aether, Paimon, Amber, and Eula. After telling the history, they finished their meal.

Kiana: Ahh, that was so good. Back to work.

Amber: Ooh, I'm stuffed. I'll see Sara about the bill.

Eula: No need, I've left the Mora under the plate. If you try to settle it with her in person, she won't accept payment for the salad. Don't underestimate my ability to exact revenge. Hah! Sara won't get the upper hand this time!

Kiana: How is that vengeance?

Eula: Alright, next you should pay my uncle a visit. He has a small camp at the top of the mountain near Springvale. He usually whiles his time away there when there's nothing else to do.

Paimon: Uh... Aren't you coming with us, Eula?

Kiana: We may need you.

Eula: I'm afraid that wouldn't be very convenient for me. It'd be better if you went alone.

Theresa: Ok, we'll go without you.

Eula: Ah yes, please do remember to pick up the dish from Sara.

Kallen: We'll do that.

Amber: I still have more recon to do in the wilderness. Well, until next time!

Eula: Let's meet again. What an interesting bunch you are.

Amber and Eula left.

Sara: Here, the Gebratenes Fleisch mit Sauerkraut is ready to go! Be sure to eat it while it's hot, otherwise the flavor will be spoiled. And by the way, don't worry too much when Eula says strange things. She's actually a very good person.

Paimon: Paimon's been meaning to ask... No one could stand the sight of Eula when she was trying to speak with the others in Mondstadt earlier. But she seemed to get along fine with you and Amber just now... what's up with that?

Sara: The people of Mondstadt don't take kindly to anyone bearing the Lawrence name.

Theresa: Ouch.

Sara: They are unable to see past her family, therefore they don't really see Eula for herself.

Sara: So no matter what Eula tries to do, it's seen as a wrongdoing. It essentially strips the meaning of anything she tries to accomplish.

Aether: So that's what she meant when she said it was hard for "a bad person to try to be good."

Paimon: How come you're able to see Eula differently then?

Sara: Well, when she joined the Knights of Favonius, it caused quite an uproar.

Kallen: How so?

Sara: Many people signed a petition, demanding that the Knights reverse their decision. At the same time, numerous members of the Lawrence Clan crowded the entrance of the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, clamoring for Eula to give an explanation.

Paimon: So both sides were unhappy.

Sara: That's right. So, you can imagine how determined Eula must have been under such circumstances.

Kiana: I know how that feels. Mei went through the same thing when her father was framed, everyone at our old school looked down on her. Before her father was framed everyone loved her because of her family name and how her family ran a business.

Sara: But thanks to Grand Master Varka and the unwavering attitudes of others in the Knights of Favonius, they were able to quell the unrest. Tensions still remain beneath the surface, I'm afraid. In the eyes of the people, she's a stain on the Knights of Favonius... and in the eyes of the Lawrence Clan, she's a disgrace to her family.

Kiana: It must be hard for Eula.

Sara: But she simply fulfills her duty as a Knight, silently helping one person after another, myself included. People like Eula should be approached with care and understanding. She could stand to be treated a little more fairly.

Aether: It's good that you're able to understand her.

Sara: I believe a day will come when things will get better.

Paimon: Once everything's settled, we should go talk to Eula again. Paimon thinks we know how to communicate with her now.

Sara: I'm glad. I think that would make her very happy, though she might not ever admit it. Take care. Please come again!

Sara: Please don't tell Eula a word of what I've said. She might think I'm being too nosy.

Kallen: Oh don't worry, we won't tell her.

(Springvale)

They went to Springvale and found Schubert.

Paimon in mind: The tent seems to be pretty tattered, but there's a really fancy chair... Could this be another aristocratic custom?

Schubert: Ah, it's you again. I thought I had rid myself of you.

Kallen: We have heard that aristocrats are most magnanimous.

Schubert: Magnanimous... Yes, indeed that is true.

Aether: Please, if I may be so bold as to say a few humble words...

Schubert: "A few humble words," eh? Yes, that sounds appropriate enough. Very well, I'm certainly not one to be narrow-minded. I'll overlook your previous misconduct for now and listen to what you have to say.

Kiana: Thank you dearly.

Paimon in mind: Wow, this guy thinks so highly of himself!

Aether: Before we go further, we wish to express our will of resistance.

Schubert: Ah, a kindred spirit, I see. Yes, we must resist the blundering Knights of Favonius. You are true and principled.

Kiana: It is an honor to stand before you here, immersed in your supreme brilliance.

Schubert: It appears I have misjudged you. "Supreme brilliance" — the glory of the nobility that continues to this day. A true loyalist!

Theresa: Thank you, dear sir.

Schubert: Impressive, my intentions were to test your humility. It appears you have become well-versed in our etiquette.

Paimon in mind: Oh, so he was testing us... Sheesh, what an ordeal!

Schubert: Your conduct is satisfactory. I must say, such a progress in such a short time is practically unfathomable. If I may ask, from where did you learn such a civilized manner of speech?

Aether: I was fortunate enough to benefit from the knowledge of a dear friend.

Theresa: I refined my conduct with some instruction in the classics, courtesy of a dear friend.

Schubert: Ah good, very good. You are bright, and compared with the common folk of Mondstadt, you certainly have potential. If you were of aristocratic blood, your prospects would be promising indeed!

Paimon: By the way, we brought a gift! Ahem... Paimon means, we would like to present you with a small token of our goodwill.

So they handed Schubert the gift.

Schubert: Huh? Could this be... Gebratenes Fleisch mit Sauerkraut!?

Theresa: Yes it is. Freshly made from Good Hunter.

Schubert: It's evident that your sentiment is genuine. As a young person nowadays, only with no small effort could you achieve such a dish. It's been so long since I dug into a big tasty— ... I beg your pardon. What I mean to say is, since it's nearly mealtime, I shall partake.

Schubert relishes the Gebratenes Fleisch mit Sauerkraut.

Schubert: Ah yes, this aroma, just as I remember it. And this exquisite sour flavor... Mmm. A delicacy that only us noblemen and women can appreciate.

Paimon: Now even Paimon's starting to wonder what it tastes like...

Schubert: I acknowledge your genuine goodwill. Such sincerity must certainly imply that you come bearing a request.

Aether: It seems there's word that the Lawrence family has a grand scheme of sorts.

Schubert: Wait, so you've come to know of this, too? It was meant to be a family secret...

Aether: We wish to lend you a helping hand.

Schubert: Hmm... Well, considering your meticulous etiquette, you must be a talent of unusual fortitude. I'm willing to place my full trust in you.

Kiana: Thank you, sir. We are so grateful that you would allow us to help you.

Schubert: Please, come with me. We happen to be in need of competent fellows just like yourself.

Aether: Where are we going?

Schubert: To see some friends from a distant land. They have offered their assistance in restoring the Lawrence Clan to its former glory.

Paimon: So he trusts us solely based on your etiquette...

Aether: I think we need to be careful.

Schubert: Well then, let's get going, shall we? You'll understand everything in due course.

Paimon: Do you think his "friends" are the Fatui?

Kiana: I think they are.

Kallen: His "friends" have to be the Fatui.

Theresa: It's always them causing trouble like the Abyss Order and the Treasure Hoarders.

Paimon: Things will get sticky if the Fatui happen to recognize you. What should we do?

Kallen: We disguise ourselves.

Kallen transformed into Rogue Extraordinare only in a different color with some differences.

Kallen: I had this made by the best sowers.

Kiana: We still have the masks we've been using.

Theresa: Let's use them.

(Dungeon Domain)

Kallen had her mask on while the others had their masks on.

Schubert: Huh? Why have you put on a mask all of a sudden? And you? Why did you change dresses?

Aether: It is only proper for aristocrats to wear a mask.

Kallen: And it is only proper for aristocrats to wear something more elegant.

Schubert: Hmm, even if they are powerful, our status is much higher than theirs in the land of Mondstadt... ...And therefore, we shouldn't allow them to admire out true faces so easily! I see, haha...

Paimon: Good thinking, Paimon thought for sure they'd recognize us.

Schubert: Let's proceed, shall we? I'll introduce you as my guests.

So they followed Schubert.

Schubert: As you'll see in a moment, there are many already helping us. I heard that this area has already been purged once by the Knights of Favonius, but it's the only place around Mondstadt that is well concealed and spacious enough. Although it has fallen into disrepair and does not suit the tastes of the nobility, we simply have to make do for now.

Paimon: Uh, s—sorry, um... can we walk any faster?

Kiana: It's taking too long and walking faster takes less time. No offense.

Schubert: Of course not. An aristocrat always moves with grace in his steps, moving hurriedly is unacceptable.

They approached a room when coming from a corner they saw Fatui agents.

Paimon: As expected, it's the Fatui!

Selune's Elgy covered Paimon's mouth. Then she whispered.

Selune's Elgy: You're gonna blow our cover.

Schubert: As expected?

Paimon: Uh... b—because we always see them around the city. Um... they must be... very powerful!

Schubert: Hmph, nothing more than foreign ruffians with power and the ability to flaunt it... But they are favorable business partners.

Daler: Hold it right there. Who's this?

One of the Fatui agents stopped them.

Schubert: If you really must know... They're my guests. If you happen to offend them in even the slightest, then you will be held accountable by the Lawrence Clan.

Daler: But this matter is of upmost secrecy, we must exercise caution.

Schubert: You dare question the ways of a nobleman? I don't have time for this. Make way!

Daler: No need to sound all high and mighty like that... Fine, you may proceed.

They kept following Schubert.

Paimon: Good thing you're with us, they don't dare to question you...

Schubert: Of course, that is the benefit of prestige. In past times, it would be a dire offense to speak to a nobleman in such a manner. We could determine a person's fate with the blink of an eye. Hmph, and such glory will return to me again before long.

They approached another Fatui agent.

Sergei in mind: Huh, where have I seen those people before...?

Sergei: And who, may I ask, is this? We mustn't bring just anyone in here.

Schubert: These are our new allies that I've recently met. They are completely trustworthy, you have the word of the Lawrence Clan.

Aether: It's a pleasure to meet you.

Kallen: And it's an honor to meet you.

Sergei: Our plans are strictly confidential. It's not wise to bring in an outsider at this time. Furthermore, there's been word that outsiders who joined the Knights of Favonius have been very active in Mondstadt recently. And one of them calling herself Rogue Extraordinare has been sabotaging us. Then there's those pink and blue twins. There is also this maid. And then there's this super strong woman who can take out groups instantly in the blink of an eye. She could even be stronger than a Harbinger.

Schubert: Don't be ridiculous. Besides, my guests are well-versed in the etiquette of the nobility. I must treat them with the proper mutual respect. The Knights of Favonius pay no regard to such details, they could never understand the intricacies of our etiquette.

Sergei: And what about these... things ?

Paimon: Uh...? You mean Paimon?

Selene's Elgy: And me?

Schubert: Enough! You dare question my word? Need I remind you who it is that has made your activity in Mondstadt possible? Without the support of the Lawrence Clan, you would have all been driven out by the Knights of Favonius like dogs. You must immediately offer your sincerest apologies to my friends — you've offended their honor!

Sergei: Tsk! Fine. I'll take your word and make no further inquiries. Now, to the matter at hand. Did you bring the diagram of Mondstadt's defenses, as promised?

Paimon in mind: Oh... so that's what's going on here...!

Schubert: Yes, of course. Here it is.

Schubert handed Sergei a piece of paper.

Sergei: Let me see... Huh. Why is it so poorly drawn? Everything's so squiggly and crooked. And what is this shape supposed to be?

Schubert: Excuse me? I'll have you know that I went to great lengths to carefully draw this map by hand myself! That "shape" is the symbol of the Knights of Favonius.

Sergei: Ah, I see. Crude, but I can make do. Are you able to verify that this is all reliable information?

Schubert: Of course, you needn't worry about that. Don't forget what we agreed upon, the flag of the Lawrence Clan will fly above the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. The rights to that building as well as the whole of Mondstadt belong to the Lawrence Clan.

Sergei: Yes, yes, we will both profit from this agreement. There's no use haggling over the details. We will make good use of the intel you provided. Also, be certain not to divulge our identity. There would be diplomatic consequences, you know.

Schubert: Don't worry. This matter is only between you and I... and my new friends here. No one else will know of it.

Schubert went to an edge to continue speaking.

Schubert: Once this is over, I shall stand atop the Favonius Headquarters and rebuke their pathetic rule over Mondstadt. Then, the city and all its people will once again be under the rightful and unwavering rule of the Lawrence Clan! Haha, perfect! Just as it once was, and just as it should be!

Sergei: *sigh*... May I remind you once again that we mustn't act rashly. That is all... for now.

Aether: Very well.

Paimon: Very well.

Schubert: Huh, what are you doing?

They took of their disguises then drew out their weapons.

Aether: The jig is up!

Kiana: Now!

There were explosions then all the Valkyries appeared making their own entrances then landed.

[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]

Schubert: WHAT THE?! HOW DID THEY FIND THIS PLACE?!

Another explosion happened then the ELFS lead by Jingwai's Wings and followed by Tesla-ZERO appeared. Higokumaru appeared from behind Sakura.

Schubert: MORE OF THEM?!

Then there was one last explosion then Patrick came through holding Kanshou and Bakuya, Archer's and Shirou's swords. Following him was Captain, then they landed together.

Paimon: That's right! It's the Honorary Knights and their trusty companion, Paimon! We're here to crush your evil schemes into dust! Dust!!!

Patrick: Thats right! It's us! We're the Honorary Knights of Favonius.

Captain: We crush all evil!

Valkyries: And bring order and justice to criminals like you!

Party: We are the St. Freya Knights and Valkyries of St. Freya!... Just who the h*** do you think we are?!

Aether: I think they got the message, everyone.

Captain: We just wanted to say something cool after making our entrance.

Schubert: How did you all find this place?!

Kiana: Before searching for you Schubert, we gathered all the members of our party so they can sneak in once you gave us the location. And now we've got you right where we want you.

Schubert: So this was all just a ploy to deceive me!

Kiana: Thats right descendant of a tyrant villain!

Paimon: It's your own fault, who would put so much trust in someone based purely on their manners?

Rita: And that is your own flaw for only trusting people with good manners. I may be a maid but sometimes I don't need to use manners on my enemies.

Schubert: After so much planning, this is how it ends!? We'll see about that!

Schubert runs away.

Durandal: You're not going anywhere.

Durandal ran after him with Rita, Aether, and Paimon.

Durandal: You won't escape!

Sergei: Just as I expected. I knew I should have never trusted these foolish aristocrats.

Kiana pointed her right gun at Sergei.

Kiana: Thats right! Once we turn you in, Mondstadt will finally know that you're all criminals and kick you out of the city of freedom! This is for what you've done to Barbatos stealing his Gnosis and for trying to destroy Liyue and then stealing Morax's Gnosis.

Sergei: No matter... We already have the intel we need. Get them!

Lots of Fatui soldiers appeared.

Paimon: They're running off in different directions! Paimon remembers that this place is a dead end... Let's take care of the Fatui first and then deal with Schubert later.

Durandal: Rita and I will go after Schubert! Restrain them!

Rita: You leave Schubert to us!

Party: Right!

Theresa: Attack!

Aether and Paimon stopped then turned back.

Theresa: Now eat this! Electro spears!

Theresa fired spears from the Oath of Judah and stabbed a lot of Fatui soldiers. They now got to fighting.

Kiana and Kallen: Our turn!

Kiana and Kallen stood behind each other and shot at the Fatui while turning around 180 degrees.

Seele: My turn~

Seele's eyes turned red then she cut a Fatui Skirmisher and cut even more.

Kiana: I think she's let her other half take control.

Mei and Sakura performed a double combo slash from their swords with Electro and Pyro.

Fu Hua dodged an attack from an Electrohammer Vanguard.

Fu Hua: ORA!

Then she punched him with an uppercut screaming Ora like Jotaro and Star Platinum.

Tesla-ZERO went up to an Anemohammer Vanguard.

Tesla-ZERO: I may be small. But I pack a powerful punch!

Tesla-ZERO fired a rocket fist and blew up the Anemohammer Vanguard.

Patrick threw the swords like they were boomerangs and they cut through some Fatui Agents then came back to Patrick. Captain cut down a Fatui Agent then blew him away with Anemo. Then he Earth bended with Geo another Fatui Agent sending him falling down below.

Just as they finished off the Fatui they had them all in rope, chains, and handcuffs.

Seele: Did we get them all?

Theresa: No. They still have the plans.

They went through the door only to find that Schubert was already caught by Eula and the Knights of Favonius. Durandal and Rita were there.

Paimon: Huh? Is that Eula?

Kiana: Now what's she doing here?

Schubert: Don't touch me, get out of my way! I'll leave on my own!

Durandal: No you won't.

Eula: It seems that we've finally caught up with you. This place is crawling with Fatui. Oh, it's you. It seems your investigation went well.

Aether: It was all worth it.

Kiana: Thanks to you.

Theresa. Things progressed much faster than we anticipated.

Schubert: Aha! I see now. So you're the one that taught them our etiquette? And I thought you despised such pleasantries! Furthermore, there is a rule in our family. Such traditions are never to be taught to outsiders!

Eula: Ah yes, rings a bell. So what? I had no reason not to teach them.

Theresa: Thats right. She had no reason to teach us.

Kallen: We'll actually she did. So we can find out if you were working with the Fatui.

Schubert: Y—You have brought shame to our family and ruined my plans! It's all for naught now!

Eula: I know that you poured great efforts into these plans, uncle. But you were well aware that it was not the right thing to do. As a Knight of Favonius, I could not overlook your actions.

Schubert: Knight of Favonius!? Let's get one thing straight. I am your uncle and you are a member of the Lawrence Clan! You should strive to restore your family's glory!

Kiana: She doesn't care if she's a Lawrence! She is a Knight of Favonius and that's what she chose to be rather than follow in your dirty footsteps!

Schubert: You still have a chance. Defeat every Knight of Favonius here, and leave with me! Then I shall plea with the family to spare you and give you a new beginning.

Durandal bonked Schubert on the head with her Lance.

Durandal: Oh put a sock in it.

Eula: So just to be clear, you want a Knight of Favonius to attack the Knights of Favonius?

Patrick: She would never do that.

Schubert: I shall say this one last time. You are not a Knight of Favonius. You are a descendant of the Lawrence Clan! The blood of the Lawrence Clan flows in your veins! You must comply with the will of the family!

Theresa: She will never do that!

Eula: Since when have I ever complied with the will of the family?

Schubert: Wh—Why you... you unruly maid!

Kallen bonked him this time with one of her guns.

Kallen: You never learn Schubert. Eula is nothing like you.

Eula: If anyone should be angry, it should be me. As a member of the Lawrence Clan, you knowingly plotted against the city of Mondstadt and threatened its safety. Had you ever stopped to consider the trouble it would bring to so many people? Had you considered how many enemies you would make trying to keep the plans under wraps?

Schubert: Y—You dare lecture me!

Now Patrick bonked him with his Dragon Hammer.

Eula: That's right, in the name of the family that you so dearly revere, Uncle Schubert. I've never experienced the age of "glory" you always speak of, and I've never understood our family's incessant pursuit of it. But I am capable of discerning right from wrong, and I deeply understand what "freedom" means to the people of Mondstadt. The Lawrence Clan should never and will never become what you've dreamed it to be!

Schubert: Grr... Oh, the disgrace of it all! How could such a rebellious monster emerge from our own family!?

Kiana: Don't you know that slavery is just wrong.

Paimon: Heh... things are starting to get pretty hysterical here. Politeness and elegance seem to have gone out the window.

Eula: That's enough fuss for today. You two, take him away. The Honorary Knights and I have other matters to attend to.

Theresa: And he sure to give him a good beating in his prison cell once you've locked him up behind bars.

The two knights left with Schubert.

Eula: Given that you've already taken action, I assume you've come across some conclusive evidence?

Kiana: We sure did! You better believe it!

Aether: The Fatui are in possession of a diagram of Mondstadt's defenses.

Paimon: Paimon took a peek at their diagram. Your uncle had mapped out all of the Knight's patrol routes and marked out key information about Mondstadt.

Kiana: That's what he was doing when we first met him.

Eula: *sigh* And there was me thinking that he was just another elder of the family — and a lazy one at that. I never expected he could stoop so low. So stubborn... Mark my words, vengeance will be mine!

Kiana: Don't you mean ours? Now we all want vengeance!

Eula: Let's discuss this later. Our first priority is recovering that diagram.

Theresa: Thank you Eula. Let's move out!

As they were moving out, Durandal and Rita volunteered to take the captured Fatui back with them and so did Liliya and Rozaliya. As they crossed the bridge, Eula used her acrylic and extinguished the machines breathing fire.

Captain: So that's Eula.

Kiana: The girl who always wants vengeance. That's her.

Captain: She's c...

Kiana instantly covered his mouth.

Kiana: Don't flatter her. She'll want vengeance for you making her face turn red and making her flustered.

They went up the stairs and entered into another room. Fatui were there.

Fatuus: They're here! Stop them!

Himeko: Hah!

Himeko slashed at a Geochanter Bracer cutting him and Eula cut through another Geochanter Bracer.

They went up more stairs and into another room where there was more Fatui. The Honorary Knights with Eula charged and took them all on.

After taking care of the Fatui in the room, Eula activated a Cryo Monument then a door opened revealing a lift. They took the lift and ended up in another room where they saw the diagram.

Paimon: There it is! That's where they've put the diagram!

Kiana: Let's go get it!

They approached the diagram but then a cage came down and prevented them from trying to get it. Then Sergei appeared.

Sergei: So you've tracked us here, huh? I guess there's no other option but to fight.

Kiana: You're outnumbered. There's no way that you'll be able to defeat all of us.

Sergei: You dare provoke me! Fatui, come forth and dispose of them!

More Fatui appeared. The Honorary Knights charged and engaged.

Kiana: Neko-Charm!

Kiana used her burst and beat up Sergei with her giant cat paws.

Eula: Ha!

Eula cut through Sergei. When Kiana's burst wore off, she drew out her white sword then charged up an attack with Cryo energy on her sword.

Kiana: Ha!

Kiana slashed through Sergei and then sparks came off of him and he exploded.

Kiana: Alright! Another job well done thanks to team work!

They now had more Fatui in chains. They got the diagram.

Eula: This must be it. They may have very well already made a copy of it...

Theresa: It's possible.

Eula: But without my uncle as their puppet, there'd be no use in them attacking the city.

Paimon: The Fatui wouldn't have relied only on your uncle.

Eula: True, but if their plan had hinged purely on taking Mondstadt by force, as opposed to with the help of a puppet, they could have spared themselves the trouble.

Eula: The Fatui are dishonest, but they wouldn't go as far as to start an open war. Their opposition wouldn't just be Mondstadt alone...

Aether: Right, that's what I was thinking.

Kiana: That would be putting the cart before the horse.

Patrick: They would attack the other nations too.

Eula: Anyway, I'll inform the Acting Grand Master. She'll know how to handle things from here.

Aether: By the way, why did you follow us here?

Paimon: Oh yeah, you suddenly appeared at just the right moment.

Eula: Yeah, about that...

Eula: Because you stole my targets by attacking the Fatui I'd been tracking earlier... ...I came to exact my vengeance. You tried to do my job for me, and I'm here to return the favor.

Aether: So getting the diagram of Mondstadt's defenses was your way of exacting vengeance?

Eula: Yes.

Kiana: Guess we're even now, right?

Eula: That too.

Paimon: Finally, after all this time, Paimon understands what you're saying!

Kiana: So do I.

Paimon: In reality, you sensed that something might happen to us during our investigation... You were worried about us and your uncle, so you brought a team to take a look!

Eula: My purpose was vengeance, don't twist the story.

Kiana: Well we had already gathered our friends and family here so we weren't really in any trouble thanks to them.

Eula: Hmph, you don't look too bright, but it turns out you have a knack for scheming...

Kiana: What? No we don't. Why would we scheme?

Eula: And mark my words, I'll remember that...

Paimon: Hey, what do you mean Paimon doesn't look too bright!?

Eula: You have seeded a deep enmity between us... just you wait. Even if you were to be completely destroyed, I would never forget you!

Aether: So, does that make us your "arch-enemies"?

Kiana: And your rivals?

Eula: Yes.

Paimon: Bring it on!

Eula: Hahaha, I like your fighting spirits. I'll take this diagram back to the Knights of Favonius and take it from here.

Paimon: Sure... well... see you around!

Eula: That you will. And make sure not to steal my targets next time!

Kiana: We won't!

Eula turned and left them.

Kiana: We finally proved to Mondstadt that the Fatui are criminals.

Patrick: We sure did.

Captain: That Eula was really cute and beautiful.

(Angel's Share)

(Patrick's point of view)

I was at Angel's Share getting a drink. I was at a table.

Patrick: What a day it's been. Meeting Eula and busting the Fatui.

All of a sudden I saw Eula coming up after getting a drink.

Patrick: Oh, hello there, Eula.

Eula: Hi, Patrick. That is your name right?

Patrick: Yes it is.

Eula: Nobody wants to sit next to me because of who I am.

Patrick: Why don't you come sit with me?

I heard gasps from the patrons. Especially Eula.

Eula: I would like to.

Eula sat down across from me.

Eula: Thanks for sharing the table with me.

Patrick: Anything for a new friend that helped my friends.

Eula: To think that all the other patrons are avoiding me. Hmph. I'll remember this.

Patrick: But you just saved Mondstadt from your uncle and the Fatui. Why do they still look down on you?

Eula: No matter what good things I do and as long as I am a Lawrence, they will never see anything positive about me.

Patrick: Ouch.

Eula: Don't feel any sympathy for me. Don't feel sorry for me. I'm a Lawrence.

Patrick: But I and the rest of my party must feel sympathy and feel sorry for you. You wanted nothing to do with the Lawrence clan and decided to join the Knights of Favonius. I totally get it. I've known other people who wanted nothing to do with the families they came from and are still looked down by people because of their family histories.

Eula: You don't know me or what I went through.

Patrick: We just met today, so I do know you know.

Eula: What are you talking about?

Patrick: One day, Mondstadt will stop looking down on you for being a Lawrence and see you differently as a good person who is not like their ancestors or any of their family members. I'm sure that one day, Mondstadt will understand you.

Eula was blushing red from what I was saying.

Eula: You really mean it? You're sure that Mondstadt will see me differently one day?

Patrick: I know I'm sure, Eula.

Eula: I-I-I-I-I... Achoo!

Patrick: Let me guess. Someone is talking about you?

Eula: Yes. I bet it's Master Jean talking g about me. But how did you know I sneezed because of someone talking about me?

Patrick: Because I've seen that a lot when people sneeze because of other people talking about them.

A random drunkard randomly spoke to me.

Random Drunkard: What are you thinking sharing a table with a member of the Lawrence Clan?! She's a bad person!

Patrick: I don't care if she's from the Lawrence Clan! She's not a bad person! She's a Knight of Favonius now!

Another random drunkard spoke.

Random Drunkard: It's disgraceful! The Lawrence should have no right to join the Knights of Favonius!

Patrick: *sigh*. Now I better get serious.

I stood up.

Patrick: Come on people. She is nothing like those villains.

A patron spoke.

Patron: Nothing like those villains? Yes she is like those villains! She's a Lawrence and she is one of those villains.

Patrick: I know how much you all hate the Lawrences. But there is no need to start a riot!

Patron: Thats a great idea. Let's start a riot.

People brought out torches, pitchforks, swords, and other weapons.

Patrick: My big mouth!

Outside of Angel's Share I burst out the door dragging Eula with me holding her hand running away from an angry mob then I created a smoke screen and disappeared with Eula.

Diluc and Charles saw the whole thing.

Diluc: The St. Freya Knights and Valkyries. They always have tricks up their sleeves.

Charles: They sure do.

Once we lost them we were at an empty alley. Is breathed and so did she.

Patrick: Lost them.

Eula: Why did you do that? Why did you risk your life for me?

Patrick: Because you are different from the Lawrence Clan. You're not a bad person. You want to help people by joining the Knights of Favonius. And you are so beautiful and cute.

What I said made Eula blush deep red flustered.

Eula: Sh-Sh-Sh-Sh-Shut up!

Patrick in mind: I think I'm gonna have a little fun with her.

Patrick: It's true Eula. Your blue hair and the way you are dressed make you look pretty.

Eula: Stop flattering me! I will have my vengeance on you! I will never forget this you fiend!

Patrick: Fine. Go ahead.

I held my arms out.

Patrick: Hit me with everything you've got, Eula!

Eula: Hit you?

Patrick: You want vengeance on me, so go ahead and hit me with your best shot so your vengeance will come to pass.

Eula: Fine! HAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

Eula shot ice from her hands and froze me. But then fire came from my hands and I melted myself out.

Patrick: Satisfied?

Eula: Yes.

I walked up to Eula.

Patrick: Eula, one day Mondstadt will understand that you are nothing like your family and accept you. And maybe you can have the same respect as the other Knights of Favonius. You'll see.

Eula: I guess I should hope so.

Patrick: You are a good person Eula, do not doubt that.

I hugged her then let go instantly and left her.

Patrick: I'll see you around beautiful.

Eula blushed deep red once again.

Eula: You've done it again! Vengeance will be mine once again, Patrick!

As I disappeared, Eula smiled secretly.

Eula: What a nice guy he is. Like the rest of his party.

(Starsnatch Cliff)

Kiana was laying down on the grass at Starsnatch Cliff around Cecelias. She was looking up at the starry sky.

Kiana: Mom... I had a great day today with my Auntie Theresa and our ancestor Kallen. We helped a girl named Eula with catching her Uncle who was working with the Fatui to attack Mondstadt but we've had them arrested. Disgracing a family is a really bad thing to do. When Dad ran away to see the world, he disgraced the Kaslana family. Then when Theresa rebelled against Otto, she disgraced the Apocalypse family. Kallen did a lot of things that caused her to get executed but when Otto tried to prevent her execution by releasing Honkai monsters, he failed.

A bright light came from the sky to Kiana slowly which then shaped into an astral projection of Cecelia Schariac. Kiana stood up.

Cecelia: Kiana.

Cecelia hugged Kiana while Kiana hugged back. This lasted a few seconds before they separated.

Cecelia: You are a good girl Kiana. You've been helping a lot of people since coming to this world. I'm proud of you.

Kiana: Thank you mother.

Cecelia: Siegfried protected you from Otto but then Sirin caused him to leave you.

Kiana: He was protecting me but didn't stop Otto, only delayed the inevitable. Patrick protected me for 4 months and comforted me after the Honkai Eruption.

Cecelia: You're in a different world now, you have more adventures awaiting you and your friends and family. And you have Patrick with you.

Cecelia spread her arms out then glowing particles starting coming up from the ground lighting up the area. In colors of blue and green.

Cecelia: Take care Kiana.

And then the astral projection disappeared.

Kiana: I will, mom.

She turned and saw me coming as I entered into the area filled with magical light particles. Kiana went up to me. We stopped once we were close enough.

Patrick: You still have me and the others.

Kiana blushed pink.

Kiana: I know I do.

We hugged then the camera zoomed out instantly as we hugged and then kissed.
