Stevie soon left Terishi's room and saw Jeff, sat alone in the hallway just reading a book.

"Hey Jeff, how's things?" Stevie asked as she approached.

Jeff looked up from their book,"Nothing much."

"Well, does that mean we can-"

"Oh, great. You're here too?" Stevie heard Jay sighing.

"It's just a corridor." Jeff shrugged,"What's your issue, blondie?"

"Blondie- You! You are my issue." Jay pointed.

"Why though?" Stevie looked between them.

"Jay's overreacting-"

"They called my work amateur!" Jay crossed her arms.

"Jeff." Stevie sighed.

"I'm not big into art, okay?" Jeff looked away.

"That's not the point Jeff, you've hurt Jay's feelings." Stevie told him.

"Hang on, I wouldn't go that far-"

"Now you wouldn't like it if Jay called your chess strategies amateur, would you?" Stevie asked.

"Well, no, but-"

"Then apologize."

Jeff sighed,"I suppose I'm sorry for insulting your artwork."

"Uh... Thanks, I guess?"

"I'd best be off, Dimitri wanted to assist me with some things." Jeff simply walked away.

"How did you do that?" Jay questioned.

"Oh, it's simple psychology, really." Stevie told her,"I use it on my siblings all the time, works like a charm."

Jay still looked quite confused but nodded slowly.

"Oh, I was gonna ask to hang out with Jeff." Stevie realised before looking up at Jay,"Jay-"

"No."

"But why not?" Stevie asked them.

"Because I don't do that. I sit in my room alone and draw or read. That's it." Jay shook her head.

"Well- I could sit there quietly!"

"Could you now?" Jay raised a brow.

"Mhm!" Stevie quickly nodded.

Jay groaned,"As long as you don't speak to me and don't touch any of my stuff."

"Thank you, Jay-"

"Don't mention it. No, really. Don't mention this." Jay lead Stevie back to their room.

Again, it matched Stevie's and Teri's but it was a total mess of stuff just everywhere. Books, papers, old photographs.

"Mousie!" Jay sighed.

"Who's-"

Jay directed Stevie's head upwards onto the bathroom door where a snowy owl was perched.

"She's my pet from home, I have no clue how she got here." Jay shook their head and flopped onto her bed.

Stevie nodded and sat on the floor beside Jay's bed before starting to fiddle around with her own shoelace.

"I mean, if you want something to do you could tidy this dump but-"

"Okay!" Stevie smiled, starting to gather up the scattered papers.

"Wait- I was joking-"

"I'm not!" Stevie told her as she began putting neat stacks of paper under Jay's bed.

"Stevie-"

Stevie ignored her and continued the clean-up effort, Jay soon joining in.

"You realise it's gonna get messy in like, a day, maybe even a few hours with that things around, right?" Jay asked Stevie.

"Well, yeah but there's something therapeutic about cleaning up a room that, no offense, looks like a pig sty." Stevie replied.

"You really are a little weirdo." Jay chuckled,"Well, the room's clean... For now."

"If you ever need my services, just call me." Stevie smiled.

"That kinda makes me feel bad." Jay sighed,"Uh- Screw it- I'll make you a drawing. Okay?"

"Aw, thank you."

"Now get out." Jay pushed Stevie out of the room and locked the door.

"I like Jay." Stevie thought before being grabbed.

Stevie froze up as Daiko grabbed her and hid behind her.

"Dai? What are y-"

Stevie suddenly felt a sting on her cheek. What the- Ray was stood in front of her, the Nerf gun in his hands.

"Are you alright?" Ray lowered his weapon.

"I'm fine, I-"

"Your eyes are watering." Ray pointed.

"Well, yeah, you just shot me in the face with a Nerf gun."

"It's Daiko's fault."

"Wh- Ray! You started chasing me, it's your fault!" Daiko poked his head out from behind Stevie.

"If you just let me shoot you, I wouldn't have shot Stevie." Ray shrugged.

"Why would I let you shoot me?" Daiko questioned.

"It's a Nerf gun, it doesn't hurt that much." Ray rolled his eyes,"It's not like it's a real gun."

"They can hurt, Ray." Daiko crossed his arms,"Especially if you're constantly pelted by the bullets!"

"Boys-"

"Why are you getting so riled up, funny boy?" Ray questioned.

"You shot my friend in the face with a Nerf gun!"

"Well, she's my... Uh-" Ray coughed, almost forcing it out,"Friend, too, y'know."

"You can barely say the word 'friend' without spewing." Daiko grabbed Stevie's wrist,"Come on, let's leave Ray to calm down and think about his actions."

"Uh, I think you need to calm down." Ray grabbed Stevie's other wrist.

"Hey, we can talk about this-"

"You're going around chasing your friends and shooting at them with scary accuracy." Daiko pointed.

"You're a coward who thinks my foam bullets will do any damage." Ray scoffed,"Watch, it's just Nerf bullets. They're foam!"

Ray let go of Stevie, aimed the Nerf gun and fired once again. This time, a deafening bang echoed throughout the corridor.

Ray looked down at the gun in his hands, blinking in confusion, Daiko stumbled back and fell to the ground in shock and Stevie had covered her ears.

Why? Why was there a real bullet in the Nerf gun? How is it even possible? Why is any of this happening!? She was trying not to but Stevie was panicking, questions flooding her mind.

Everything... Everything was blurry with people running out of the rooms nearby to investigate the sound presumably.

The next thing Stevie could remember was the kitchen. She was sat in the kitchen. She looked up at the clock on the wall. 6:34.

"Here."

Stevie looked up at Ray who slid a cup of tea in front of her.

"You got a bit overwhelmed and since I cause it, there you go." Ray sat down across from her,"Don't expect this treatment too often, I'm not-"

"Thank you." Stevie smiled.

"What?"

"Thank you." She repeated, starting to drink her tea,"I'd better work on dinner now-"

"No."

"What?"

"If someone wants dinner or any food for that matter they can make it themselves." Ray crossed his arms,"Once you've finished that, I'll take you to your room."

Stevie nodded and soon finished her tea. Ray wouldn't even let her go wash the cup herself before almost pulling her along as he lead her back to her bedroom.

"There." Ray pointed,"Now go sleep."

Stevie hesitated before giving Ray a quick hug and shutting the door. She felt like she needed to do something for him now.

Pushing that thought out of her head, Stevie changed into some pyjamas and got into her bed. She wasn't tired yet but she wanted to listen to Rays advice of 'Now go sleep'.

"Stevie!" Monoyagi jumped onto the bed.

"Robo-goat." Stevie rubbed her eyes.

"Did that little gunscare spook you?" Monoyagi giggled,"Funny prank, huh?"

"Monoyagi, one of us could've died!" Stevie pointed.

"Oh, poor innocent Stevie." Monoyagi smirked,"That's the whole point of this game, isn't it?"

Stevie clenched her fists and grabbed a pillow but... Set it down. She remembered how she couldn't harm the Headmistress.

"Aw, you remembered!" Monoyagi hummed.

"Shut up." Stevie laid back in her bed,"If you're gonna stay here, you're not sleeping on the bed tonight.".

"Hmph, fine." Monoyagi sighed and hopped off her bed.

Stevie sighed and closed her eyes. Why... Why was she here?
