The end of this hell is nigh.

When the elevator doors opened, the courtroom was... Different. All decorated in black and pink, elegant curtains and a throne. The throne was covered by a red curtain.

"And now... The final showdown begins!" Monokuma announced as the lights flicked off.

All of a sudden, flaming torches lit up the room and a woman was revealed, once Jay knew all too well. She was tall, her long grey hair trailing down her back. She had a pair of dusty green eyes, glasses and a little pink flower in her hair. The woman smirked, holding Monokuma close to her chest.

"Jay!" She feigned a smile.

"Candle." Jay glared at her.

"Uh, Jay, who is she?" Daiko asked slowly.

"Aw, little Dai. My name is Candle." She hummed,"I'm Jay's older sister."

"Wait, what!?" Akira looked around at them.

Jay sighed,"It's true.."

"So you're the pyromaniac that I'd get along with?" Akira raised a brow, getting a nudge from Stevie.

"The hell wid ye work fir the Mastermind fir?" Scott questioned.

Candle was silent,"Can I get a translation?"

"Just ignore him." Jeff sighed.

"Whatever you say." Candle hummed,"Now, how about we bring out the big man, himself?"

"The Mastermind.." Stevie whispered, knowing his identity.

"And here he is!" Candle announced, the curtain rising.

There he was... Dimitri... And he burst out into maniacal laughter.

"Bet you weren't expecting me now, were you?" He winked, still laughing.

Stevie bit her lip. The man she so hated. The one behind the cause of all their suffering... So close to her.

"Why? Why would you do this!?" Daiko yelled.

"For her." Dimitri purred,"For Junko Enoshima, of course."

Stevie locked eyes with Akira before turning to Dimitri,"You knew her? You knew the Ultimate Despair?"

"Of course I did!" Dimitri smiled,"She saved me and my siblings!"

"Saved you?" Akira furrowed her brow.

"I was filled with so much despair over never being able to find or meet my parents... But she rescued me. I was in her debt and so had to show my appreciation for her somehow." Dimitri explained.

"So... You put us here to suffer-" Stevie began.

"For her, yes, but also my own amusement." Dimitri shrugged.

"What the hell's your excuse, Candle?" Jay snapped their head furiously towards her older sister.

Candle merely shrugged.

"Ya have nuhin' to say?!" Scott went to step forward but Jeff held him back.

"She isn't worth your anger." Jeff spoke calmly.

Scott shoved them to the ground,"Stop touchin' me!"

"Temper, temper." Dimitri purred,"Now, I'm giving you all a choice."

"A... Choice?" Akira cocked her head to the side.

"Of course, I always play by the rules and am fair." Dimitri nodded,"You can all either stay here for the rest of your feeble lives... Or choose to leave."

"Obviously we'd choose to leave, right?" Daiko looked around.

"Not so fast." Candle smirked,"How about we show you how the outside world looks?"

There was a flash and many monitors appeared, showing... Destruction. That and utter chaos. People wearing Monokuma masks... The streets stained crimson.

"What... Happened?" Stevie gasped.

"I happened!" Dimitri smiled,"Me and Junko, of course!"

"How-" Scott began

"The Tragedy." Jeff cut him off.

"Ay?"

"The Tragedy. The most horrible, most tragic event in human history." They sighed.

"That's.... The world?" Daiko blinked in horror.

"Mhm, every last corner!" Dimitri burst out laughing as they stood in shock.

Everybody was frozen, the realization clear on their faces. Nobody. Nobody was coming to save them. Nobody cared... Everything was wrong. Wrong with the world... How could something like this happened... For once, they felt... True Despair... No. No. No!

"You're seriously gonna give up? Just like that?" Stevie spoke up, looking around,"Sure, the world's gone to shit but... We can fix it!"

"We? There is no 'we', Stevie." Dimitri rolled his eyes,"They're gone. Besides, there's nothing you can do on your own. You're useless."

"Hey, watch your mouth, perra." Jay pointed,"If she says we can do it... Fuck it, I'll believe it."

Dimitri was taken aback,"W-what-"

"I'll trust you guys." Daiko smiled,"We've got this."

"Hang on-"

"If you all believe... Then I will too." Akira stated proudly,"I'll help save the world!"

"Stop-"

"Scott?" Stevie turned to him.

"Heh, ya crazy bitch." Scott chuckled, patting her shoulder,"I'm in."

"Take that, Dimitri!" Akira pointed,"We're all against you!"

"Fine, take a vote. End things." Dimitri shrugged,"Vote for me and it'll count for both Jeff and I."

"Yeah, now let's kill that bastard and his accomplice!" Jay yelled, placing a vote for Dimitri.

"Wait-" Stevie began.

But everyone quickly placed their votes for Dimitri. Stevie sighed, voting for... Herself?

"It's a, well, near unanimous vote for us, Jeffy!" Dimitri grabbed his shoulder.

"How are you so okay with dying..?" Candle blinked slowly.

"Darling, it'll be alright." Dimitri winked as both he and Jeff were dragged away.

Flashes showed in the monitor, Jeff and Dimitri experiencing all the previous murders and executions one after the other. A large cement block was raised above their heads as Jeff clung helplessly onto Dimitri who was still smiling.

"Guys... Where's Stevie!?" Jay rapidly looked around.

"Oh no.." Akira gasped.

Stevie was there, running desperately to save them. She knew there was someway to redeem them, they can't be all bad... Right? Show them kindness. Just as the block was about to crush them, they were shoved from behind. Dimitri escaped unharmed but Jeff's legs... They were completely crushed.

"Why... Why did you...?" Dimitri was... Confused.

The monitor went black and they appeared in the trial grounds, Jeff crying out in pain.

"The hell wis that!?" Scott yelled.

"I wanted to... Fix him. There's a reason he's like this, he must be able to be redeemed." Stevie explained herself, Dimitri still in shock behind her.

"Where the hell has Candle gone..?" Akira looked around.

"It doesn't matter." Jay shook their head,"Scott, pick up Jeff. We have to get out."

"Here." Dimitri handed them a remote,"It... Opens the door at the front of the school."

"You heard him." Jay nodded, starting to walk.

And with that, all seven survivors made their way to the front of the school.

"I can't believe... It's finally over." Daiko let out a sigh of relief.

"Our struggles within the school are over but... Outside is a whole other story." Jeff forced out, still in immense pain.

"You all ready?" Stevie looked around, a faint smile on her face.

"As we'll ever be." Akira chuckled.

"The let's get a move on!" Scott nodded firmly.

Jay pressed the large, red button on the remote and... The door slowly opened. They were free... Finally.
