The amount of art theft on wattpad is actually unbearable to me. It makes me itch. It's one of the many reasons I don't read fanfic on here. Just use edits of the official work if you need it that bad just ✨don't use people's intellectual property without their consent it's literally theft✨!!

Like good lord its really not that hard to just...make your own cover? Use official art/scenes from the show/media you're using instead of fanwork? or hell, even just ask if you can use it-- or at least fucking check if the artist allows reposts. y'all are unbearable.

This also counts for putting artwork in your story chapters itself. I'm looking at those "[show] memes!" "[ship] pictures!" "[character] reacts to [fandom] pics!" books. you guys need to credit the fucking art you use.

Besides the fact that its copyright infringement its literally just disrespectful. like. cool you think this artwork is great! show some respect to the person who made it by :) not reposting their work :) without their permission :)

"credit the artist" isn't credit and ngl. just reposting it straight up without asking them for permission is also Sucky. Even if you do credit them and link back. just ask. its their property and hard work just ask its literally not hard at all just dm them. good lord
