The next day, Damari is walking through the hallway of the hotel when she notices the door is ajar and sees that it's Angel Dust's room as she could see a glowing pink neon heart light attached to the door. She knocks on the opened door to show that she's not invading his privacy.

"Angel? Are you in here? You left the door open."

No response. But she could've sworn she heard an oink noise. Slowly, she pushes the door open, and there before her is a demonic pig Fat Nuggets sleeping on the bed with a blanket covering him. Her eyes lit up in awe at the sight of the cutest thing she'd ever seen. Damari approaches the sleeping pig and reaches out to touch him, but she stops and pulls her hand away from the pig. She shook her head to snap herself out of it.

"I shouldn't wake it. Just... stay quiet."

Damari glances at the sleeping pig as Fat Nuggets eventually wakes up and oinks to see her. Seeing him awake, she gets nervous as he stares at her curiously tilting his head. Meanwhile, Angel comes back to his room as he realizes he left his door open and heads over to check on his pig only to stop to hear laughter. He cautiously peeks out to see Damari hugging a laughing Fat Nuggets and rubbing her cheek against his.

"Oh, piggy! Who's a good pig?! Who's a good pig?!" she squealed, making Fat Nuggets laugh. "So soft!"

Damari gives a pig some kisses while sniffing him and does it again.

"You smell wonderful! So adorable!"

She was so in love with the pig that she didn't realize Angel was already back inside his room and watching them in amusement and fondness. Damari eventually noticed him and stopped along with Fat Nuggets. Her face turns pink to realize he's here and places Fat Nuggets back on the bed as the pig looks up to her with fondness.

"Oh, Angel. You came back fast." Damari said, trying to play it cool and fanning her face.

"Uh-huh," Angel smirked. "I see you met my pet Fat Nuggets."

"Fat Nuggets? Adorable," she said, smiling at the pig.

Fat Nuggets oinks with happiness.

"Whatcha doing in my room?"

"Just came to check up on you as soon as I found your door opened."

"Ohh?"

Angel slowly approaches her, making her back away for a bit and nervous.

"Nothing more? Not here to check me out?"

"Ch-check on your well-being that's all." Damari stuttered, her back hitting against the board of the bed.

Angel pins her down against his bed, making her gulp and flustered.

"A-Angel? What are you doing?"

He said nothing and leaned down to her face until they were inches apart.

"Oh, Damari~~ Don't ya wanna experience this? Are you turned on, Damari? I know I'm turned on." he whispered into her ear.

Damari felt her heart beating faster at how close their bodies and faces were as her face was now pure red from Ange's flirting.

"I like cute shy ones, and you are just the one I've been looking for," he whispered, placing a finger on her lips. "Damari, spread your wings, let yourself go, and come to Daddy ~~"

She could've sworn that she just died from hearing that and didn't know what to say. Luckily, someone barges in and they're not happy.

"ANGEL!! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!!"

They turned to see a seething Vaggie as she blew smoke out of her nose like a raging bull her bow on her hair shaped into horns.

"Gee, have you heard of knocking?" Angel rolled his eyes, unfazed by her shout.

"Oh, thank God." Damari whimpered, feeling embarrassed.

"Get off of her now!!" Vaggie demanded.

"Fine. Buzzkill..."

Angel gets off of Damari, much to her relief. Just before she could get out of bed, he leaned over to her and whispered.

"We'll continue this later~"

She immediately fled from him and out of his room as Vaggie slammed the door after. Damari leans over to the hallway wall and takes a deep breath. That was intense moment she'd ever had with Angel.

"You doing alright, Damari? Thank goodness I came just in time." Vaggie said, consoling her.

"Y-Yeah. I'm fine. I... didn't see that one coming." Damari stuttered, face still pink.

"Angel is always like that. But he didn't do anything to you, right?"

"No. Just constant flirting and... yeah..."

Vaggie sighs and guides her through the hallway to the parlor as they walk downstairs.

"Well, I came to check on you and let you know that Alastor wanted to talk to you about something."

"Alastor? What did he want to talk about?"

"He won't tell me. But just... be careful with him."

"Don't worry. I'm aware of the whole soul deal and won't let that happen to me."

"That's a spirit."

They see Alastor sitting on a couch. He perks up to see them and grins at Damari.

"Ah, darling! Good morning! How'd you sleep?"

"Doing fine," Damari said.

Vaggie then walks away to check up on Charlie, leaving the two alone.

"I heard from Vaggie that you wanted to talk to me about something."

Alastor stands up and summons his mic cane.

"Well, I recently got a call from overlord Zestial and Carmine that they wanted to see you. They know that you're a human."

Hearing that made Damari's blood freeze in horror.

"H-How? Who told them that?"

"Velvette." Alastor glared.

This made Damari deadpan...

"Velvette?"

"Velvette," he repeated, deadpanning now.

"What... did they want with me?" she asked carefully.

"Don't know. They just simply wanted to talk and asked me to take you to them. If that's okay."

Hearing about the overlords wanting to see her made her feel scared and worried. But she can't turn them down like that, especially not knowing how powerful they are compared to Alastor. If she did, she's afraid they might do something worse.

"I... I guess. Can they be trusted?"

"Oh ho! Don't you worry! I've known them for a long time and they're just as good as I am. I think you might like them."

"Well... okay. When do I meet them?"

"Now."

"Now?"

Without a word, Alastor teleports himself and Damari into a shadow realm and makes it up to the building where the overlords have a meeting. They head up to the elevator and they go up to the next floor. Damari looks around nervously and Alastor gently takes her hand and guides her upstairs to the doors where they see Carmilla and Zestial along with Odette and Clara.

"Alastor, so glad that you brought her here," Carmilla said, looking straight at Damari.

"Hark, human child." Zestial greeted, making Damari shiver at how deep his voice was.

"H-Hello..." she awkwardly waved.

"You're probably wondering why you're here. After Velvette told us about you, it led us to a lot of concern since we never had a human here in Hell without dying." Carmilla explained.

Damari mentally cursed Velvette for exposing her.

"Which is why we brought you here for questioning. How did you get here?" she continued.

She glances at Alastor as if asking him if she could trust them. He silently nods to her that she can. Damari looks back to the two powerful overlords and takes a deep breath.

"I came from the music box. It's kind of a long story, but it somehow brought me here without dying. Heck, I didn't even know it was ancient."

"Interesting. And what had thee of this music box?" Zestial asked.

"I don't know. I got it from the thrift shop. All I know is it's magical and when I tried to open it, nothing happened. So it's busted."

"I see. Why exactly are you here?" Carmilla asked, staring at her.

"I honestly don't know. It's like I have a purpose here. I still have a good life up there on Earth with my friends and family, but maybe being here would help me understand both good and bad."

Carmilla, Zestial, and Alastor stare at her in slight awe at her speech.

"...Have you experienced or felt anything strange?" Carmilla asked, recalling Damari's eyes glowing red.

"I have. I honestly don't know how I got this power and it only happens if I sense danger and the need to protect my friends when I confront the Vees. I even sent them flying when they tried to make a soul contract with me." Damari explained, shocking them.

"Thou almost compose deals with brainsick Vees?" Zestial expressed with a frown.

"...Yeah, it was a terrible decision but my friend KeeKee saved me from it. I was... desperate to get back home to my family."

"I see. How good are you at fighting? Being down here in Hell is dangerous." Carmilla asked.

"I'm pretty good at martial arts, kung fu, and chi-blocking."

"I see."

Carmilla and Zestial get into a quiet conversation; meanwhile, Alastor speaks with Damari.

"You never told me that you bump into the Vees."

"I was trying to help Angel Dust get out of that disgusting porn acting from Valentino. Valentino tricked me into thinking they'd take me back to Earth. But I at least put some fight on them." Damari said, showing off her muscles slightly.

"At least you're still in one piece, just remember that these Vees are not to be trusted or any other demons that attempt to take your soul," he warned her.

"I'm aware. Thanks for your concern, Alastor."

"Don't mention it."

Carmilla and Zestial then turn back to Damari after agreeing to each other from their quiet conversation.

"We've decided that we'll help you." Carmilla declared, shocking Damari and Alastor.

"You're... helping me?" Damari asked.

"Thy power is unknown and endues full potential. Especially for a pure soul, such as thee." Zestial said.

"You're gonna need it to protect yourself from any harm from both demons and angels. You're also gonna need to control this new power of yours if you ever want to protect yourself and your friends. We're asking you if you're okay with this. This could be your opportunity." Carmilla explained.

Damari thinks for a moment, knowing this is the biggest decision she'll ever make. But at the same time, she could learn a thing or two about her power along with learning how to fight if she's ever going to a war.

"I'm in," she said.

Carmilla and Zestial smiled.

"Alright. Your training starts tomorrow. My daughters will lend you a room to sleep in."

Damari was about to say something but Alastor beat her to it.

"Don't worry, darling. I'll let Charlie know about it and I already brought your things you might need," he said, snapping his fingers to reveal suitcases coming out of the shadows.

"Thanks," Damari said, grabbing one while Clara carried the other two with Odette leading the way.

"...I'm surprised you're letting us help her," Carmilla said, looking at Alastor.

"Haply he hath become soft," Zestial said with a chuckle.

"Don't mistake me for being soft. Just simply helping her. I sense that she has full potential that she's unaware of." Alastor said, eye twitching slightly.

"Tell me. What is this music box she's talking about?" Carmilla asked.

"I don't know about it. For all I know, it looks ancient and it had seven gems which had colors to it."

"I see. Well, thank you for your help. I'll let you know when she's ready to head back to this hotel."

Alastor nodded and disappeared into the shadows.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Waking up the next morning, Damari finds herself outside where no other demons would dare to see her since they're in the territory of Carmilla Carmine. Carmilla hangs the bell on a dead tree with strings.
"Jump and ring the bell," she said after finishing it.
Damari tilted her head in confusion.
"Why?"
"Just do it."
Shrugging, she did as she was told and touched the bell.
"Again," Carmilla said.
"You said we were going to train," Damari said.
"This is it. Again." Carmilla ordered, grabbing a pitcher filled with water.
Once Damari jumped and touched the bell again, Carmilla poured water around her feet.
"Uh, what are you doing?"
"Jump up, ring the bell, and try not to splash the water."
Damari looks down at the water with uncertainty.
"That's impossible."
"Nothing is impossible," Carmilla said, smiling a bit.
She then walked back inside as Damari jumped and tried not to splash the water, but it was harder than she thought. She kept splashing the water and became frustrated, trying to find out how to not splash the water. Carmilla watches from the window, shaking her head in amusement. Damari sits down on the bench near the wall to take a break. Suddenly, some demon pigeons flew by above her.
"Get lost," Damari ordered, not wanting to deal with them.
When they didn't listen, she stood up on the bench and waved them off.
"Get lost!! Shoo! Shoo!"
The demon pigeons immediately flew away, leaving some feathers behind. Damari notices a feather falling and lands on the water without a splash, making her get an idea.
She goes back to her position where the water is and concentrates. With a leap of faith, she jumped, rang the bell, and landed on her tippy toes without a splash, making her smile. Damari looked back to see Carmilla nodding to her in approval. Damari repeated what she did earlier without splashing the water.
After that, Carmilla teaches Damari five positions on the stairs as she helps fix her posture by putting her feet together, moving her hip to the side a bit, and pointing her chin up.
"First position, second, third, fourth, fifth. These five positions form the basis of everything." Carmilla instructed before getting her to do it again. "First position, second, third, fourth, fifth, and jump."
Damari jumped over the stairs and reached the top before Carmilla instructed her to do it again with the five positions.
"First position, second, third, fourth, fifth, and pose..."
Carmilla points to Damari's hip to make sure they're straightened up as Damari poses while breathing a bit.
"And smile."
Damari tried to smile but it was hard due to her breathing while posing.
"It's when you get tired, you start to progress," Carmilla said.
"You were a dancer, weren't you?" Damari asked.
"No more questions," she told the young human girl while pointing at her face, making her back up and fall much to her amusement. "Again."
The next day, Damari is rolling on the barrel as she struggles to put up the angelic weapons on the wall.
"To reach, you might need to stand on your points," Carmilla said. "Feel the balance."
Damari stood up on the tips of her toes with a bit of struggle and was able to stand for a bit before falling off.
Night has fallen Carmilla massages Damari's foot since she's not flexible enough, even though her body is flexible thanks to Tuti's torturous massage.
"Your toes must be as flexible as willow and hard as rock."
She looks up to see Damari asleep, so she bent her toe making her yelp and fall backwards before quickly standing up and going to her first position.
"First position!" she shouted.
Another day passed as Damari was being trained to fight against Odette and Clara as she blocked their attack with her chi blocking while blocking their hits. Carmilla comes in and stops their training.
"Ah ah ah. No hands allowed."
Damari looks at her with bewilderment.
"What?"
Carmilla seizes Damari's leg and lifts it, making her yelp.
"Try this leg."
"Whoa, whoa! Stop, stop!! Ohh!!" Damari yelped, feeling some pain in her leg as they were lifted straight. "You were a dancer, weren't you?"
"Of course, I was a dancer, Sherlock Holmes." Carmilla sassed, letting go of Damari's leg and making her fall backward.
Odette and Clara chuckle at Damari.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Damari finds herself standing in the middle of the spinning wheel holding two tea cups with Carmilla and Zestial standing in front of her.

"You must become the master of your dizziness," Carmilla said, making Damari smile nervously.

Carmilla nodded to Zestial and he used his magic to make the wheel spin but not too fast, Damari wabbled as she spun around with it and struggled to stay in balance.

"Stare at a spot and don't ever lose it."

Once the wheel stopped turning, Damari's eyes swirl around with dizziness.

"Okay, now come to us, and don't spill the drinks."

Damari tried to walk forward but ended up falling and dropping the cups. They tried again as she tried to walk toward them but veered off to the left and missed, fortunately, she managed to keep the tea from spilling. They did it once again but Damari went the opposite side again. With one more spin, Damari finally managed to walk directly toward Carmilla and Zestial without spilling the drinks. Carmilla and Zestial smiled as Damari handed them their tea cups. Zestial summons a teacup for her to drink much to her delight.

"Salud." Carmilla said.

"Salud," Damari repeated with a smile.

The three clinked their beverages together.

Throughout the week of practice, Damari managed to follow all five positions up the stairs on each step without making a mistake, did her training fight with Odette and Clara using her legs as a weapon, rolling on the barrels without a problem while dancing like a ballerina as Carmilla taught her how, and lastly, learning how to control her newfound power through Zestial's training.

Damari is somehow making those wooden blocks float around with her telekinesis power as she stares at them in awe with her eyes glowing red.

"Good, Damari. Embrace it, feel it, and strike." Zestial said.

With a glare, she pulled them apart with her power, and suspended them in the air, breaking them. Zestial grins and nods in approval.

"Thy power is getting stronger. Thou might not but wot to control it."

Damari nodded, feeling a bit overpowered. Zestial nods to Carmilla, who's watching from above, and she pulls the switch and summons out dummies.

"Try and confound."

Nodding, Damari lifted and flung amounts of dummies at the others with her power. She tears one apart and rips out the wooden dummies. Then she flung off the rest of the dummies. Just as she turned to think that she was finished, she sensed something and quickly stopped something jumping towards her and looked up to see Carmilla in the air in an attempt to attack her with her angelic steel ballerina shoes. Damari quickly dodged the overlord's attack and flipped her way over to one of the walls littered with angelic weapons before taking a sword for herself. Using her telekinesis, a red aura covered her body as her silver hair turned into a bright red hue.

She charges towards Carmilla with her sword raised and Carmilla blocks her sword with her angelic shoe and crosses it with Damari's sword. Zestial grabs the sword from the wall and tosses it towards Carmilla, who catches it.

"Everything begins with your stance. Remember..."

Carmilla begins to sing.

You do it for them
And you would do it again
You do it for them, that is to say
You'll do it for them

Carmilla guides Damari and her sword, as Zestial watches.

Keep your stance wideKeep your body lowered
As you're moving forward
Balance is the key

Carmilla then mentors Damari on her stance before the two started sword fighting each other while dodging each other's hits like they're dancing in a ballerina style.

Right foot, left foot
Now go even faster
And as you're moving backwards
Keep your eyes on me

Carmilla then crosses swords Damari again, doing more stern on Damari to focus on her stance and target. With her eyes glowing red, Damari manages to push Carmilla away with her powerful strength. Damari then begins singing her part of the song with Carmilla and Zestial smiling.

Keep my stance wide (Good)
Keep my body lowered (Right)
As I'm moving forward (Concentrate!)
Don't you want them to live?

Damari faces off Zestial, who's more skilled and powerful as she use her telekinesis to fly towards him with her sword raised. He easily dodged her and swiftly knocks her back without a problem. Carmilla chides her.

Right foot, left foot
Yes, but put your whole body into it!
Everything you have, everything you are
You've got to give

Damari regains herself and dodge Zestial's attacks, continuing to spar off with him, as Carmilla watches with her arms behind her back.

On the battlefield
When everything is chaos
And you have nothing but the way you feel
Your strategy and a sword
You just think about the life you'll have together after the war!

In Carmilla's flashback, during Extermination Day, she and her daughters are rushing home, trying to avoid exorcists. But as they are running, they caught by three of them. She holds her arms up to protect her daughters as they're being surrounded. She urges them to flee as they did while she faces off the exorcists. One of the exorcists flies in the air and charges at Carmilla. Glaring with determination, she then jumps in the air. The angelic steel blade on her angelic shoes sparkle, as she falls down and uses the blades to cut the exorcist's head off.

And then you do it for them
That's how you know you can win
You do it for them, that is to say
You'll do it for them

Back to present, Carmilla sees Damari manages to beat Zestial as she pushes him back against the wall before making those weapons from the wall float with her telekinesis and making them fly towards him, trapping his body against the wall without stabbing him. This filled Damari with confidence and determination as she looked over at Carmilla, who nods with a smile. Damari then released Zestial from the wall, who gives her a proud grin.

Deep down you know
You weren't built for fighting
But that doesn't mean
You're not prepared to try

From constant training, Damari suffers minor injuries and skin tears on her sword hand. Carmilla then comforts Damari momentarily and bandages her wounds and sword hand.

What they don't know
Is your real advantage
When you live for someone
You're prepared to die

Damari accepts the refreshments that Odette and Clara bring in with joy and downs them before Carmilla chides her. Damari nods, knowing about her life, and downs her drink before returning to training.

Deep down I know
That I'm just a human (True)
But I know that I can draw my sword and fight

Damari's appearance changes drastically, as she dons on a new training outfit, her hair braided, and her sword-fighting skill and power control progressively gets better.

With my short existence (Good)
I can make a difference (Yes, excellent!)
I can be there for them
I can be their knight

Damari faces off Zestial and Carmilla as Odette and Clara watch. With increased agility, increased power, and increased sword proficiency, Damari successfully defeats the two overlords without hurting them or injuring them. Zestial and Carmilla smiles at her and Damari smiles back.

I can do it for them
You'd do it for them
Okay, now do that again (Yes, ma'am)
You do it for them, and now you say
I'll do it for them

Damari and Carmilla proceed to spar off a bit with Zestial watching as the song concludes, and then renew their vows, bowing to each other.

"Well would you look at that, you're ready." Carmilla said.

"I am?" Damari questioned, looking surprised.

Zestial nods and stands next to Carmilla.

"Thou has improve thy power." he said.

Damari surprises Carmilla and Zestial by putting her arms around them and giving them a hug, beaming with joy. After exchanging quick glances, the two overlords smile down at Damari. They both knew she was going to accomplish great things.
