Charlie opens the door and peeks through.

"Hello?"

The only response is the echoe of her voice. She walks inside and notices the place is empty with no one around.

"Hello? Hellooooooo? Creepy..." Charlie muttered, not liking it being quiet.

She approaches the empty counter where the bell is. She dings on it and a floating golden contract that's titled "Heaven Embassy" and a quill goes down to her, startling her.

"Oh, okay. Also creepy."

She signed it before they flew out. The door whooshes open and Charlie goes inside cautiously, seeing the room dark.

"Uh, hello? Is anyone here?"

The lights went on to reveal an angel with a humanoid appearance, his face appears similar to other Exorcists, however, with normal looking eyes and golden colored facial expressions. His head also holds a pair of horns similar to an exorcist, albeit longer, smoother, and with a golden ornamental attachment on the tips.

He also has a pair of large and golden colored wings on his back. In contrast to other angels that have appeared thus far, Adam's halo is bright gold in appearance.

He wears a smooth white and golden cloak that appears to have a large 'A' symbol emblazoned on the front. His visible hands are black in appearance.

Besides him is an Exorcist with black, white, and gray uniform along with her face with some bloodstains. She possess two large goat-like horns on her head, above which sits a black halo with white glow. Along with two large wings on her back, and her face is covered with a LED screen mask as her right pupil has black with a white glow as well.

"'Sup." the leader of the angel army greeted, holding a piece of meat from the plate.

This scared Charlie as she fell down.

"Holy shit!"

She quickly gets up and fixes her hair.

"Hi, I'm Charlie. My dad asked me if I could meet you."

"Yeah, I know." he said, not caring about it and eating his food.

"Okay, well, it's nice to meet you." Charlie greeted, holding out a hand to him.

"Totally. Nice to meet you, too." he said, holding a hand as well.

When she tried to reach his hand, it fazes through.

"Ohh!"

She quickly pulls her hand back, making the angel leader laugh.

"Ha! I fucking got you. Did you fucking see that?" he asked, the second in command Angel besides him, who nods. "Good shit."

"Uh, so wait, you aren't here?" Charlie asked in confusion.

"No, you think I'd come down here?" he laughed, leaning into her face. "No. I mean, I love the vibe, totally, I love your tunes. Pretty fuckin' hardcore, don't get me wrong."

He leans back into his seat and slouched his head down on the table.

"But, it's such a bummer, man. Everything down there's just so "eugh" ya know? Ew."

"Right. So I'm happy we got this opportunity to meet." Charlie smiled a bit. "There's a project I've been working on that I really want to talk to you about—"

He cuts her off by placing a finger on her lips as they fizzle.

"Hey, hey, hey, slow down. We got time." he said. "How about we get to know each other a little, mm? How about some lunch? You hungry? I got you!"

He holds up a plate full of meats.

"Here's my personal favorite. You'll love it."

"Uh, thanks!"

Charlie goes take a piece of meat when it faze through again as the hologram fizzle, making the angel leader laugh harder.

"I got you again, bitch! Haha fuckin' hilarious! Haha!"

Charlie laughs along unamused.

Returning to the Hazbin Hotel, Damari is seated beside Husk on the couch, who is glaring at someone over her with his arms crossed. He was glaring at Angel, who was sitting on the other side and keeping his eyes fixed on Husk and Damari. Alastor is sitting by himself on a chair, his eyes closed, while Niffty sits in the center, looking joyful and attentive. Vaggie approaches them.

"Okay, so Charlie is dealing with something very important, so while she's gone, we are making a new commercial." she announced. "One that represents her vision and what we're going here. So we need a camera. Alastor?"

Alastor snaps his fingers and summons an old fashioned camera into Vaggie's waiting hand. But Vaggie looks unamused.

"A video camera?" she questioned.

"Hmm."

With a smile, Alastor snaps his fingers again and summons a modern camera. Vaggie smiles in satisfaction and holds it up.

"Alright, let's do this!"

Damari stands besides Vaggie as the camera whirs into focus on Angel and Husk in the bar as Husk holds up the scripts with Angel sitting in the bar counter.

"And... Action." Vaggie said.

Husk looks down at the script and says the line.

"Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel. Can I help you with anything?" he said, looking at Angel.

Angel smirks and begins his lines, stroking Husk's cheek and leaning forward.

"I've been a bad boy. And I need a big, strong daddy to put me in my place..."

He lies down on the counter sexily. Damari cringes and covers her ears.

"On the path to redemption." Angel finished.

Husk groans, rolling his eyes and looks back at the script.

"Well, you come—"

"Oh yes!" Angel moaned.

Damari immediately closes her eyes at seeing what Angel was doing. Husk leans back uncomfortably and finishes his lines.

"...to the right place."

"Cut." Vaggie ordered, stopping the recording.

Damari uncovers her ears with a relieved sigh.

"Oh, thank God..." she muttered.

"Okay, Angel, I need you to be less horny, if possible. And Husk, can you maybe not have a script in front of your face?" Vaggie scolded.

"I ain't no act! I can't memorize this shit!" Husk angrily stated, looking at the script.

"Well, we could improv this shit, baby cakes." Angel suggested, placing a hand against Husk's cheek.

He then purrs seductively.

"Rawrrr."

Husk immediately pushes Angel's face away from him, making him fall out of the counter. He looks at the girls with a shrug.

"Whoops." he said before bringing out a bottle and drinking it.

"Husk, come on." Vaggie groaned.

Damari walks over and gently pushes the bottle down to stop him from drinking.

"Maybe if I hold up the script, you'll be able to act and finish up your line in no time while Vaggie records."

Husk looks at her and sighs.

"...Fine."

"Maybe you can do the act, Damari. You seem like a perfect fit for this." Vaggie suggested.

Damari freezes and immediately shakes her head.

"Absolutely not!"

Vaggie and Husk look surprised.

"I was in a school play once. It was awful, and this place is bringing back... memories." Damari said, shivering.

Damari as a child is dressed as a tooth as she starts singing while dancing.

Damari trips and collides with the wooden toothbrush and sets a fire throughout the theater, causing panic to the other children.

~ FLASHBACK ENDS ~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Four out of five dentists agreed, I was traumatized." Damari finished her story, looking frightened.
Vaggie and Husk blinks, appearing concerned.
"Okay... Noted." Vaggie nodded. "Let's do the next shot."
They made it to a room where Niffty is busy trying to stab a runaway bug with her big sewing needle.
"Hehehe. Stab. Stab. Stab." Niffty chuckled maliciously.
"Alright Niffty. Niffty? Niffty!" Vaggie called.
Damari kneels down and stops Niffty from stabbing the bug by taking away her sewing needle. She places her hands on her shoulders.
"Niffty. Your line is "We have the cleanest rooms." Okay?" Damari said gently.
Niffty lets out a cheeky smile and nods.
"Got it. I'm ready." she said.
Vaggie holds up the camera and it beeps.
"Action."
Instead of saying her lines, Niffty just... stares at the camera with a blank look as her mouth agape. Vaggie, Damari, and Angel look concerned as Niffty stares at the camera deep into its soul. Damari gulps while Angel slowly backs away as Vaggie stops the camera.
"Uhh... Cut."
Niffty snaps out of her trance and appears cheerful.
"How was that?" she giggled.
"Well Niffty, you actually have to say the line." Vaggie pointed out, making Niffty appear sad. "So let's roll again."
Niffty smiles and nods.
"Okay."
Vaggie holds up the camera again and starts the recording.
"Action."
But Niffty just stares at the camera without saying a word. Angel leans over to Vaggie, who appears stressed and angry, and whispers.
"You're doing great, Vagina."
"Cut!" Vaggie snapped. "Alright, um, maybe we can try to fix it in post."
"Do you even know what that means?" Angel asked.
"I'll figure it out!" Vaggie angrily said, making him flinch.
Back in the living room, static on TV was heard with a camera attached to it from the chord. Vaggie is sitting down in front of it, appearing stressed
"Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel." Husk said on TV.
She groans, clearly having a hard time. Damari approaches her and places a hand on her shoulder.
"Maybe you should take a break. We'll figure it out." she suggested.
"Thanks, but I can't. I need to get this right before Charlie comes back." Vaggie said, covering her face.
Before Damari could speak, Alastor appears and chimes in over to Vaggie.
"Seems like you're having a bit of trouble there, hm?" he said in amusement before reappearing on the other side.
"Gah! Alastor!" Damari yelped, placing a hand on her chest.
"Ugh, este pendejo... Why are you even here?" Vaggie demanded.
Alastor leans back on the couch.
"For the entertainment!"
Alastor's shadow crawls up to the couch and appears from behind as its eyes glows red with their sharp teeth bared with a smile.
"I came here because I love seeing wasteful souls struggle to accomplish something meaningful and fail spectacularly." he said before clenching his fist as they glow green and make the shadow disappear. "Like you are doing now! Good job!"
Damari frowns and Vaggie holds up the camera at Alastor.
"And here is Alastor, the egocentric piece of shit that—"
The camera glitches as they move up to see Alastor's face when it sparks, causing it to shut down as Vaggie dropped it. The camera glows green as it sparks.
"I wouldn't try that, my dear. This face was made for radio!" Alastor said sinisterly.
This made Damari hide behind the chair Vaggie is sitting in. Vaggie gets annoyed and stands up.
"That's it! I don't care who or what you are. If you are staying here, you are going to make this work." she said firmly, marching up to him. "Because it wouldn't be so "entertaining" to watch over an empty hotel will it, shit ass?"
With that, Vaggie marches back to the chair. Alastor stands there with a same smile while glancing at Damari, who shrinks down, before shrugging.
"Fair enough. I'll tell you what! Let's make a deal."
Vaggie sits down and scoffs.
"Pfft! You think I'm that stupid making a deal with a demon like you?"
"Not for your soul, just a simple deal." Alastor said. "I do this for you, and you never ask me to engage with this frivolous television technology ever again."
This made Damari curious on what's his deal with disliking televisions. Vaggie thinks for a moment.
"Or... Charlie can come back to absolutely nothing! Your choice."
Vaggie looks down for a moment and glances at Damari, who nods, knowing they've got nothing left to lose. Vaggie sighs in defeat.
"Fine."
She hands him the camera and green souls comes out of it as it crackles. Vaggie and Damari stare at Alastor cautiously.
"Now then."
Alastor slaps down the camera, making it disappear. At the same time, Angel, Niffty, and Husk appears in front of them along with the camera sets and the voodoo minions. Then their clothes changes to 1900s fashion.
"Alright, everyone! Let's make a fucking commercial." Vaggie grinned in determination as her clothes changed as well.
"Wait! I don't think I should be part of this act." Damari said, looking nervous.
"Oh, don't you worry, my dear! I'll help guide you! This won't be like a play you've been in before." Alastor waved off with a smile.
"We could use some more people." Vaggie added.
Damari thinks for a moment, glances at her friends, and then sighs.
"Alright. I'll try."
She puts on her ring and transforms into a swan demon as her 1900s clothes stayed in place.
"Let's do this."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Charlie sits there with her hand on her cheek, looking bored and tired as the leader angel named Adam wouldn't stop talking about his life and all the other stuff.

"—When you take her out for the fifth time and she still expects you to pay the check, but you're like, "Hey, I thought you wanted equality"." Adam said in a high pitched voice.

"No!" Charlie exclaimed in frustration. "Our shared problem of overpopulation in Hell."

"Ohh! Well, that's not a problem! We got that covered." Adam smiled. "Lute, how many demons did you kill this year?"

Lute walks up to him with an authority pose.

"Got a good 275 this year, sir." she said.

Adam appears surprised and happy.

"275? Whoa, badass! Awesome job, danger tits! Pound it."

He holds up a fist as Lute bumps it with hers.

"Uh, no, not awesome. Those are my people, you know that, right?" Charlie said, looking desperate and hopeful.

"Ohhh, yeah... That must suck for you. Hahahaha!" Adam laughed.

"But theses are souls." Charlie pointed out gently. "Human souls, just the same as the ones you have up in Heaven."

"They are not the same. They had their chance and they earned damnation." Lute stated arrogantly.

"You're wrong. Sinners made mistakes, sure, but everyone makes mistakes." Charlie defended.

"Angels don't make mistakes." Lute pointed out, glaring at her.

"You really think that?" Charlie glared back.

"I know that." Lute retorted.

"Yeah, I've never made a mistake in my fuckin' life." Adam agreed, doing a rock hand sign.

Lute walks up to Charlie with her arms crossed behind her back.

"The only reason you're still here is because Daddy gave you and your Hellborn-kind a pardon from an exorcist blade. How does that feel? To know how little you matter."

With that, Lute walk around Charlie back to Adam's side. Charlie looks down sadly, knowing she's right. Adam checks his wrist as a watch.

"Oops, almost out of time. Guess we should get into it—"

https://youtu.be/rE9kDmXe56A

"Oh Fuck!—"

Charlie scrambles up to Adam and summons out her files of drawing papers on the table.

"Okay, I've got a lot to get through and not a lot of time. And I feel like you weren't hearing me before, so here it goes."

She clears her throat and begins to sing, showing out her drawings.

I know Hell's population is out of control
It's a bad situation, it's taking a toll
If we rehab these sinners and cleanse all their souls
At my Hazbin Hotel, wait, I'm getting ahead of myself!
Right, extermination
I know you guys fly down just to kill once a year
And it must be annoying to schlep all the way here
If they join you in Heaven, that trip disappears!
You can wave that chore farewell
It'll be a happy day in He—

Adam holds up a hand to stop her from singing just as Charlie is going to hold out a drawing paper where it shows demons and angels holding hands with a rainbow above them.

Let me stop you right there (Oh)
Save us all precious time (Okay)
If what you're suggesting is letting them climb
Up the ladder oh, they'd rather cross the Pearly Gates? (Well, um)
Sorry sweetie, but there's no defyin' their fates

Adam jumps up on the table, knocking over the plate as he stands up.

Cause Hell is forever, whether you like it or not
Had their chance to behave better, now they boil in a pot
'Cause the rules are black and white
There's no use in tryin' to fight it
They're burnin' for their lives until we kill 'em again
(Okay, but)

Charlie tries to explain, tearing her rolled up drawing paper in half when Adam keeps on singing.

Just try to chillax babe, you're wasting your breath
Did I hear you imply that they don't deserve death?!
Are they winners? Are they sinners?
'Cause it's cut and dry (Well actually, if you take a look—)
Fair is fair, an eye for an eye

Adam floats up in the air as a sun brightens behind him with clouds around him. He starts walking down from the cloud stairs.

And, when all's said and done (Said and done)
There's the question of fun
And for those of us with divine ordainment
Extermination is entertainment!
Bow-now-now-nownow, guitar solo, fuck yeah!
Oh, da-ah-ah now-nownow-n-now-n-now-nownownow

He and Lute begins dancing while flying. Charlie gets up with an annoyed groan. Adam then summons the golden Exorcists as they clap along with the beat.

Hell is forever, whether you like it or not
Had their chance to behave better
(Where did all of you people come from?!)
Now they boil in a pot
'Cause the rules are black and white
There's no use in tryin' to fight it
They're burnin' for their lives until we kill 'em again

Lute and Adam bump their fists together before Adam summons his celestial guitar and strucks the chords of it. The golden Exorcists nods and dances to his singing and then flies up to him to dance with him in the air along with Lute. Charlie growls in anger and transforms into her demonic form and burns the paper.

Fuckin', Hell is forever and it's meant to suck a lot
So give up your dumb endeavor, 'cause you don't have a shot
Long as I got your attention
I guess I should probably mention
That we made the determination

He summons out the golden contract and comes up to Charlie. Unrolling it, it says "FUCK YOU I DO WHAT I WANT!!" with a drawing of Adam himself. This made Charlie confused and concerned.

To move up the next extermination (What?)
Can't wait a whole year to slaughter those little cunts
I know it's just been a week, but we'll be back in six months!

Adam grabs her wrist as the hologram fizzles and then pushes her out the meeting room along with all of her drawing papers. The doors starts to slowly closing in as Adam plays his guitar at the end of the song. Charlie tries to get up to ask him about the extermination, but it's too late as the doors fully closes in on her.

Um, wait, didn't you—
Ugh, shit!

Tearing up, she slams her fist on the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Returning to the Hazbin Hotel, Charlie looks dejected as she opens the door and enters. To see her return, Vaggie and Damari rush up to her.
"Charlie."
They both hugged her, but Charlie didn't hug back and still looks dejected. They pulled away and faced her.
"How did it go? Did they listen?" Vaggie asked, smiling.
"Did they accept it?" Damari asked, eager to hear about the angels.
Charlie glances away.
"Oh, uh... They sure did... hear it! But, um..."
"Oh! Come here. We have something exciting to show you!" Vaggie said, pulling Charlie towards the living room.
"Yeah. You're going to love it!" Damari nodded, walking ahead.
They meet the gang that are sitting on the couch or chair on the floor and sits down with them.
"Alastor pulled some strings, and it's about to air." Vaggie explained.
"I pulled a few limbs too! Hahaha!" Alastor laughed, looking prideful.
"Wait? The commercial?" Charlie questioned in surprise. "You all made a new one?"
"Yeah, one of my better performances, if I do say so myself." Angel said.
Charlie starts to tear up, looking happy and in awe.
"That's... that's amazing."
Angel places his finger on her lips to stop her from crying.
"Shhh! It's starting!"
The commercial showed Vaggie and others, including a swan demon Damari in front of the entrance of the Hazbin Hotel.
"Welcome to the Hazbin Hot—"
The commercial was cut off by the news media instead. Everyone got an indistinct angry reactions except Alastor, Niffty, and Husk.
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!!" Damari yelled in anger, shocking everyone.
The symbol "666 News" was seen before moving to Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench.
"Breaking news in Hell today!" Katie announced. "We have just received word from the Heaven Embassy that the next extermination is happening sooner than ever before. Do you know what that means Tom?"
"No. What does that mean, Katie?" Tom asked.
"It means we're all royally fucked!" Katie said with an eye twitch, making him look scared.
The screen cuts to sinners screaming and sirens blaring and the Clock Tower changes from 358 to 176.
"Wait... what? Why?!" Angel demanded in disbelief.
Alastor is still grinning but isn't exposing his teeth, indicating that he is equally as alarmed as the other people in the hotel, who are all suddenly startled and terrified.
"No way..." Damari gasped in horror. "Charlie? What did the angels tell you?"
Charlie appears distressed.
"I... well..."
Meanwhile, the angelic drone flies over the damaged buildings and scans down, finding a headless Exorcist on the ground with golden blood pouring out.
"We found the body, sir." Lute said, looking angry. "They've never managed to kill one of us before. We should just go down there now and destroy them."
"No, no. We can't risk them catching on." Adam said, calming her down. "But don't worry, when we come back, there won't be a demon left alive to pull a stunt like this again!"
Before he can break the light projector, Lute suddenly senses something that made her gasp. Adam stops and looks at her in concern.
"You okay there?"
"I... I just... felt something. Something I haven't felt like this before."
"What? What is it? What's—"
Adam then gasped, having the same feeling as hers.
"You felt that, too?" Lute asked.
"Y-Yeah. What was that?"
"A soul. A pure human soul..."
Adam looks shocked.
"What? That's impossible!"
"Hold on. They're getting something."
The heavenly drone searches till it finds the Hazbin Hotel. They approach it a little bit more and then release a beam of light as it begins to scan. Later, as the image clears and reveals Damari, they saw a human figure of her through the walls. The fact that they discovered the music box in her room and noticed that she was emitting traces of the music box energy startled them the most.
"Could she be...?" Lute questioned.
Adam puts a thoughtful look for a moment before making up his mind.
"Whatever she is or what she's doing down there in Hell, we'll take care of her and make sure she never gets in our way!"
Then, when the light projector breaks, Adam smashes it, forcing the room to become dark and only his gleaming, menacing grin to remain visible as it goes out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Charlie broke the news to Damari, who was devastated to learn about Adam and Lute, whom she had heard so much about. How were they able to accomplish this? What issue do they have? She has been wondering a lot of questions. She even questioned whether Charlie's description of the Hell she had told her was true or made up. She is currently on the pirate ship in order to get some fresh air and to sort things out in her head. She closes her eyes, sighs, and feels the breeze flowing through her hair and on her face as she stares up at the crimson sky. At that point, Damari takes a deep breath and starts to sing. She had no idea that Husk, who had witnessed her fleeing from Charlie, was listening to her out there.

A million thoughts in my head
Should I let my heart keep listening
'Cause up 'til now I've walked the line
Nothing lost but something missing

I can't decide
What's wrong, what's right
Which way should I go?

Damari climbs up the pole to the ship's nest as she faces the city.

If only I knew what my heart was telling me
Don't know what I'm feeling
Is this just a dream?
Ah oh, yeah
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be
Ah oh, if only
If only
If only

She gets off the nest and grabs the rope, swinging herself around.

Every step, every word
With every hour I am falling in
To something new, something brave
To someone I, I have never been

I can't decide
What's wrong, what's right
Which way should I go

She swings herself up to the top of the sails and carefully walks across it. Husk watches in awe and worry.

If only I knew what my heart was telling me
Don't know what I'm feeling
Is this just a dream?
Ah oh, yeah
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be
Ah oh, if only
Yeah

When she made it to the end, Damari slides down on the sails and lands gently. She then leans herself against the mast.

Am I crazy? Maybe we could happen
Yeah
Will you still be with me when the magic's all run out?

If only I knew what my heart was telling me
Don't know what I'm feeling
Is this just a dream?
Ah oh
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be
Ah oh

If only, yeah
If only, yeah
If only, yeah
If only

If only
If only

When she's done singing, Damari goes to head back when she yelps to see Husk, who jumps back.

"Oh, Husk! Hey!" she nervously greeted.

"H-Hey! Sorry. I just... thought I'd check on you." Husk said, rubbing the back of his head.

"Did you... hear all that?"

"Yeah... Don't get me wrong. You sing... great."

Damari blushes and then smiles.

"Thanks."

Husk glances away, looking embarrassed.

"Let's head back." he suggested.

Damari gives a nod, and the two head back inside. She glances back briefly before turning to resume following Husk.
