So, I'm back, in a much healthier mindset. To make up for the abomination that was De's muzzle last time, I drew some art of rat mom, Marigold.

I never really touched on Marigold in TRITR, mostly because I never really got the chance to.

So, here's some more info on her!

Marigold, prior to TRITR, had a mate named Rowan, and the two were together basically since they were born. Marigold loved him deeply, but unknowing to her, Rowan had cheated on her more than once.

Marigold never found out, and after a while, she was expecting her first litter. However, another rat colony attacked theirs, and Rowan died trying to protect his family. Marigold's litter died after an attacker snuck into the nursery, and she became depressed and scarred by it.

Milkweed, another rat that had came from the upper levels of the Maw, had found a small human infant that had been thrown. He took it to her, and she raised the girl as her own, naming her Six.

She raised Six until she was 12 years old (yes, I know rats only live for two years, but I changed it), and always thought of her as her own.

After Six dissappeared, the grief she had held back for so long finally started to weight down on her, and started to grow sick from heartache and poor nutrition as she rarely began to eat.

And leaving off with another drawing of her. Just her looking up at the pipes and stuff.

I might do more art of the rats later on, cause they're fun to draw.
