The Beginning Of a nasty end

After a long day of playing with everyone and talking it was time for dinner.  This was a perfectly normal day for all of the children.  Just peace and not having to worry about troubles,  food was never a worry.  Mama called everyone inside but something was off...

As everyone moved to the dinning hall,  Mama hummed happily as she kept a close eye on Midori.  Midori hadn't spoken much that day.  That was completely out of her character.  She helped set the table and as she sat down she caught a glimpse of Mama and her face paled.  She leaned against the table grabbing both of her hands.  Her knuckles turned white and shivered violently.  Something was certainly off.  Mama moved to the dinning hall doors.  "Alright my children!  I will be back to make sure you are in bed!  Midori..." She hummed her name sickly and Midori slowly looked up in fear.  Midori knee that look.  "Your in charge."  She said softly before leaving and closing the doors. 

Suddenly Midori gasped for air in relief and she forced a smile.  "Let's eat."
