"Get in the truck."

I shook my head no.

"Shay. Get in the fucking truck before I make you!"

Him yelling made me involuntarily whimper. I've always hated people yelling at me and even though I'm the Omega I never got use to it.

"Shay, please? Can you just get in the truck?" Korey asked in a tired voice. I was so shocked by him saying please and the way his voice sounded, I hesitated but made my way to the back seat of his truck. He looked slightly offended but why would he ever want me to sit next to him? Especially if we're going to be in the car for a few hours? He got in, slamming his door shut and soon we were driving north-east. I haven't been to the mountains since that day and we had camped in a large meadow that was protected with trees, but I knew that Korey owns a small cabin somewhere near there. I bet he's only taking me to see it so I can clean...

After an hour and a half of speed ing on winding roads we finally stopped at a small town's gas station. I looked up at the sign that read Howdy's and smiled a the silly looking cowboy with it. Suddenly Korey's door opened and he climbed back into his seat, when did he even leave? I nervously flinched when he turned around and threw something towards me, oblivious that the object wasn't close to hitting me.

"Shay! Wake the fuck up and grab your bag!" Korey shouted. Wait.. I didn't bring anything with me, nothing but the clothes on my back. I turned to him and gave him a confused look. " I packed a bag for you."

Oh, that makes more sense. I nodded my head, grabbed my bag, and walked towards the cabin. Korey unlocked the door and started walking back to the truck to get coolers. I walked in and immediately stopped and looked around. The cabin was about the size of an average house, but with a lot of windows. In the kitchen was an island stove top and a view to the lake.

I open a door to find that it leads down into the basement. I bet Korey is going to make me sleep down there, I thought as I started to go down the stairs.

"Where are you going?" I hear Korey ask. I turn around and he notices my bags. "Come on. Even though we're here you're still on runaway watch. Add suicide watch to this on going list too."

I turned and glared at him, my good mood now gone. He knew why. Everything I do he knows the reasoning behind it. Now he turned to me, glared, and scoffed and my anger. Korey forcefully grabbed my arm and literally dragged me up the stairs.

~~~~~
I've been here for barely even a week, but it's been the best week since I was 12. Korey hasnt made me do anything but fix the meals and take it to him in his office. No talking, no hard labor, just relaxing. So of course I would be surprised when Korey sat down on the couch, saying he needs to speak to me.
"Consider this a moment of kindness, but I've decided to make you a deal. You may leave the pack go anywhere you want, do anything you want," he started. I widened my eyes in surprise and joy. "But, if I ever see you again you have to go back to being the fucking pathetic omega you will always be inside. No questions, no complaints, no whining. Deal?"
"Deal," I whispered. I was ready now to just run away.
"Cool. We'll be going back to the pack house today in case you have something there you would want to take with you," Korey said in an nonemotional, business tone.
*2 hrs later: pack house*
I managed to find a small backpack, filling it with a few t-shirts, sweatshirt, my favorite skinny jeans, and sweats. I also found a picture of me and Spencer, obviously putting that in the bag too. I quickly ran out of my room and down the stairs to the back door, not wanting to waste any time. Before I could reach the backp door I saw Korey already there, just leaning against the wall.
"Remember our deal. Our pack doesn't need your dead weight holding us back," he said while walking towards me. Suddenly I was backed up against the wall, trapped between the wall and his warm body. I looked up at him and noticed his jaw clenched with either disgust or fighting with his wolf. Probably fighting his wolf from killing me. "You have 30 minutes to get off the territory. If not, the guards will chase you down like the pathetic, fucked up rogue you now are," he growled out.
I widened my eyes and slithered out of my trap, running to the open back door. As soon as I got to the tree line I shifted mid stride. I knew exactly where I was going.
Hopefully the Winter Sun pack will accept a low life like me.
