(lauryn's outfit for this chapter)

Finally it was Saturday. The day that Lauryn and Conrad had been waiting for. The week had felt like it went by so slow. Especially for the couple. They missed each other a lot and the phone calls, video chats and texting just wasn't enough. But finally they were going to see each other again.

Conrad was standing outside of his dorm, looking at the time on his phone. Lauryn was supposed to get there soon. He had texted her and was going to call her, but he figured she was busy driving so he decided not to call her. He couldn't wait to see her. He was so happy. He couldn't keep the smile off his face and it wasn't helping that he was a nervous wreck. He kept checking his hair and his outfit and wondered if he looked like he tried too hard or didn't try hard enough. He just hoped that Lauryn would like it. She had always said that he was handsome no matter what and he believed her, but he couldn't help but feel nervous.

"Conrad!"

Conrad's head snapped up at the sound of his name. His heart racing and a smile on his face when he saw her. "Lauryn." He breathed, his breath getting caught in his throat when he saw her. She was so beautiful. Her hair was down, a few strands hanging in her face. She was wearing a black sweater with a white heart on it and black jeans with her black and white converse. His heart raced even faster when she ran towards him and launched herself into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Conrad! I missed you so much." She murmured, a big smile on her face as his arms wrap around her waist.

"I missed you too, sweetheart." Conrad smiled softly, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. He holds her for a few moments, loving the feeling of having her in his arms again. He grinned when he thought of an idea and he spun her around, his heart fluttering as her giggles filled the air. When he set her down, he leaned in, capturing her lips in a kiss. Lauryn smiled against his lips and she stood on her tiptoes to kiss him back. Her eyes fluttered closed and her hands found their way into his hair. She loved how soft it was.

When the two broke apart, they smile at each other. "Hi." Lauryn grins, her cheeks red and a wide smile on her face. "Did I mention I missed you?"

Conrad laughs and presses a kiss to her forehead. "I wouldn't mind hearing it again. I missed you too, my love." He smiles. "So much. I can't believe you're actually here."

"Believe it, I'm here." Lauryn laughs, a blush covering her cheeks as she looks at him. He looks at her with love and adoration in his eyes and she can't believe she's lucky enough to have him. "Now, I'm not sure if you're hungry, but I'm starving. So, food? My treat."

"You just drove a few hours to see me, the least I can do is pay." Conrad chuckles, grabbing her hand and lacing their fingers together. "It's okay, really." He assured her when she started to protest.

"You know, it's a good thing I love you." A shy smile made its way to Lauryn's lips while he brought their intertwined hands to his lips, kissing the back of her hand. "Cause if it was anyone else, I wouldn't give in so easily."

"Good thing I'm not just anyone." Conrad chuckles, a light blush on his cheeks. "C'mon, let's go get something to eat. Sonic?" He guessed as they start walking to his car.

Lauryn grins and nods. "You know me so well, Coco." She smiles. One of the many things she loved about him was that he remembered the small things. Such as what her favorite fast food was. Even when she was a child, it had always been Sonic (although Chick Fil A was a close second). It was the first place her parents had ever took her and it quickly became one of her favorites.

Conrad smiles and leads her to his car, opening the door for her. She smiles thankfully at him and gets inside. Once he's inside and starts the car, Lauryn turned on the radio and her eyes lit up when a Taylor Swift song came on the radio. She grinned at him and started singing along to the song that was playing. He glanced at her a few times as he drove and a soft smile made its way onto his lips. The window was down and she was waving her hand through the wind as she sang. Her hair was blowing all over the place and a few strands had made its way into her face, but she didn't seem to notice. Or if she did, she didn't mind. She was enjoying herself. It was such a beautiful sight. She was beautiful and the sun shined brightly behind her, creating a golden glow around her. She had never looked more beautiful. And it was all because she was just being herself.

Lauryn's heart skips a beat when she caught him staring and her cheeks turn red. "You're staring." She murmured, a shy smile tugging at her lips. She felt embarrassed and it didn't help that she could feel her cheeks turning red.

"I'm sorry, baby." Conrad chuckles, his eyes returning to the road. "Can't help it that my girlfriend is gorgeous."

Lauryn's cheeks turn even more red and she rolls her eyes. "Whatever." She mumbled, but she's grinning and her heart is fluttering.

After a few minutes, they pull into the parking lot of the Sonic and Conrad parks the car. They get their order in and catch up on things that's been going on the past week. A few moments later, their order is ready and Conrad gets their food. Once he's sitting back down, he hands her the bag and grins.

"Here you go, milady." Conrad grinned, a chuckle escaping his lips as Lauryn rolled her eyes despite the smile tugging on her lips and snatched the bag from him.

"Thank you, kind sir." She replied sarcastically, sticking her tongue out at him. A soft smile made its way onto her face. He was always a gentleman and she couldn't deny that she loved it. "You're amazing." She added, a light blush on her cheeks.

"Anything for you, baby." Conrad smiles softly and leans over, pressing a quick kiss to her lips. "You're so beautiful."

Lauryn's cheeks turned red and her heart raced. She ducked her head down, not able to keep the grin off her face. Her hair fell in front of her face and she reached up, brushing it away. She glanced up, seeing him staring at her. She blushed more, butterflies swarming in her stomach. He made her feel special and loved.

"Thank you." She murmured, a smile on her face.

"I'm serious, Lauryn." Conrad said gently, reaching over and cupping her cheek, using his thumb to caress her cheek. He turns her gaze to him and his heart melts when his green eyes meet her brown eyes. "You're so beautiful and I'm the luckiest guy alive."

Lauryn's breath caught in her throat and her heart skips a beat. "I'm the luckiest girl." She whispers, leaning into his touch. She didn't know how she got so lucky. He was so kind and amazing and she couldn't believe that he was hers. She reached up and placed her hand over his. "I love you, Conrad."

"I love you too, sweetheart." Conrad grinned and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to her lips. His heart fluttered and his face felt warm. She kissed him back and he moved his free hand to the back of her neck. Her lips were so soft and she tasted like her favorite cherry lip gloss. When they broke apart, a goofy smile tugged on his lips and his eyes twinkled.

"We should probably eat before our food gets cold." Conrad suggested.

"Yeah, I'm still starving." Lauryn admits, her stomach growling in response which caused them both to laugh. "See?" She asked, her cheeks turning pink. "So, what do we do after we finish eating?" She asked curiously, grabbing her coke to take a drink of it.

"Well, what would you like to do, cutie?" Conrad questioned, grabbing a fry from the bag.

Lauryn's heart skips a beat and her face turns red at the nickname. She paused for a moment and thinks about it. She had missed him and just wanted to spend time with him. But they did have the rest of the weekend to spend together and she wasn't sure what to do.

"I don't know." She admits, biting her bottom lip. She shrugs her shoulders. "I just wanna spend time with you. I haven't seen you in weeks and I miss you. I don't really care what we do, just as long as I get to spend it with you."

"Oh." Conrad says, his cheeks turning red. He hadn't expected that, but he definitely wasn't complaining. "Well, I was thinking we could go back to my dorm and watch movies. My roommate will be gone for the whole weekend so it'll just be us."

"That sounds perfect." Lauryn grins. She takes a sip of her coke, her eyes lighting up. "We should totally watch The Lion King." She suggested, a wide grin on her face. It was one of her favorites and she always seemed to sing along.

"Of course." Conrad laughs and nods his head. "How could we not watch The Lion King? You love that movie. And it's a classic." He smiled at her, his heart skipping a beat when she started to grin.

"You know, I could listen to you talk about how much you love The Lion King all day." Conrad confessed, smiling softly at her.

Lauryn blushes and giggles softly. "You're ridiculous." She murmured, rolling her eyes.

"I'm serious. Your face lights up and your smile gets bigger and it's beautiful. The same for when you talk about your love for Princess and the Frog. You just get so excited and it's adorable." Conrad admitted, a light blush covering his cheeks and a soft smile still on his lips.

Lauryn's eyes widened and her cheeks turned red. Her heart skipped a beat and her stomach was doing flip flops. "Oh." She mumbles, a shy smile on her face. "Um...Thank you." She said quietly, glancing down at her food shyly. Her face feels warm and her cheeks turn an even darker shade of red.

The couple continued to finish eating their lunch and then afterwards they decided to go to the park. Lauryn had gotten them some ice cream from the ice cream truck and the two sat on the swings. They had planned to have the movie night later that night when they got back to Conrad's dorm. Lauryn was swinging a little bit and licking her vanilla ice cream cone, smiling and humming to herself. It was such a beautiful day. It was sunny out and there was a nice breeze.

"Hey, Lu." Conrad spoke up, a mischievous smile on his face.

Lauryn looks over at him with raised eyebrows, a curious look on her face. "What?" She questioned.

"Tag. You're it." Conrad laughed, getting up from the swing and starting to run. He was done with his ice cream cone, eating half of it and threw away the rest of it in the trash can as he ran.

"Conrad! I'm eating ice cream!" Lauryn exclaimed, trying not to laugh, but she still got up and started chasing after him. Her ice cream was long forgotten, she ate half of it so she tossed it in the trash as she ran after Conrad. There weren't many people at the park today, but the ones who were there and when they noticed the couple they smiled softly and some chuckled.

"No fair!" Lauryn called out, trying to keep up with him, but he was taller than her and had longer legs so she was having a hard time.

"Come on, you gotta try harder than that! I'm not gonna go easy on you!" Conrad chuckled, glancing back at her, grinning as she struggled to keep up. He could hear her laughing and it warmed his heart.

Lauryn tried to run faster and jumped forward, tackling him to the ground. He let out a surprised noise and landed on the grass. She giggles and pins him down, her arms on either side of his head. "Tag." Lauryn smirked, a triumphant look on her face. She moved off of him and laid next to him, her hand reaching for his to intertwine them together.

"Well played." Conrad chuckled, glancing at her and smiling. He squeezed her hand lightly.

"I'm full of surprises." Lauryn grinned and snuggled closer to him, closing her eyes. A few moments passed before Lauryn got up and helped him up. He brushed off his jeans and wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Let's go back to your dorm. We can make some popcorn and have a movie night." Lauryn suggested, leaning her head against his chest.

"Sounds perfect." Conrad smiled and pressed a kiss to the top of her head.

They went back to Conrad's dorm and cuddled on the couch while watching the movies. Conrad made them some popcorn and they ordered pizza. They stayed up late, talking and enjoying each other's company. It had been a long time since they had gotten to spend time together and it was nice. They both enjoyed it and neither wanted the weekend to end. They both had their pjs on and were cuddled under a blanket. Conrad was holding her close, her back against his chest and her head was on his shoulder. She was tucked safely into his arms and their fingers were intertwined. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was steady.

"Baby?" Conrad murmurs, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. "Sweetheart, are you awake?"

"Hmmm?" Lauryn hums, slowly opening her eyes and tilting her head to look up at him. "Yeah." She whispered, her voice hoarse and her eyelids heavy. She had a sleepy smile on her face and her eyes were slightly squinted.

"I had a great time today." Conrad whispered, his thumb rubbing circles on the back of her hand. He couldn't help but smile when she snuggled closer to him, letting out a yawn.

"I did too." Lauryn smiles, a sleepy grin on her face. "I'm glad I'm here. I missed you so much, Coco."

"I missed you too, sweet girl." Conrad replied softly, a loving smile on his face.

Her face turns red at the new pet name and her heart skips a beat. She can't help the grin that's on her face. Her eyes meet his and she bites her bottom lip, trying not to blush. He's looking at her so softly and lovingly that she can't help the butterflies in her stomach and the racing of her heart. She snuggled closer to him, her cheek now resting on his chest.

Her eyes close again and she yawns once more. "I love you, sweetheart." She mumbled sleepily, her eyes fluttering open for a brief moment to look up at him, her cheeks turning pink. She closed her eyes again and relaxed.

"I love you too, sweet girl." Conrad whispered, a small smile tugging at his lips.

He waited until her breathing evened out, making sure she was asleep. Once he was sure, he pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head and rested his cheek against her forehead. He closed his eyes, holding her close and let out a soft sigh.

"Sweet dreams, baby." He whispered, his eyes closing. He slowly drifted off to sleep with her safe in his arms and there was no place they would rather be.

A/N lauryn & conrad hold a special place in my heart, i love them so much !!
