A few things that will become your best friend while doing this. Duolingo, google translate, and any people you know that speak that language. That's it. That's all you have, lol. It's a hard life writing in foreign languages.

Let's be real, google translate isn't right all the time, which is why you should always double check on a few different sites to see if the info is right, or you can just put a warning at the beginning saying that you aren't fluent in the language so some things might be wrong.

If the character is bilingual, they might switch in between the two languages in the same sentence depending on how adept they are. They might only use one language for things like family terms, and another language for everything else. They're translating everything in their head all the time, so it'll be hard.

It a person is speaking fluently in another language without fault, it's a different story. You can put the language and then mark it with a number or letter or character, and then at the end of the chapter, show those markings in a section dedicated to translations. Or just show the translations in order. People probably won't go back and forth if I'm being honest, but they'll read the translation and get the gist of what that conversation was.

All in all, it can be difficult to find quality translation and figure out what the hell you're writing, but if you take the time and put in the effort, it'll be more than worth it in the end to have an authentic experience for the reader.

Requests are open and so is asking questions!

I love you all! Byyyeee!
