Alright, there are a lot of times you can start a new paragraph, so I'm going to go over them because people tend to miss these.

Talking: Whenever someone new starts talking, start a new paragraph. Obviously you don't have to make a new paragraph for every time someone talks if it's the same person talking, but every time a new person talks. And, if at some point, a person is talking and it's getting to be a long paragraph, you do this.

Example: "It has come to my attention that we have reached 1k on this book. I'll take this example as a chance to thank you all so much for reading! I hope that everything in this book helps you in some way whether it's righting a normal story, fanfiction, or X Reader.

"On top of that, I would like to say that if there's any topics you want me to touch on, go ahead and comment or PM me your suggestion. Thank you all again!"

See, it was two paragraphs that made it look neater. To do that I just didn't end the last paragraph with a quote, but still started the new one with quotes. That signifies that it's the same person talking.

The News: Make it a new paragraph when these 3 News happen...A new character arrives. A new event happens. A new idea is introduced.

Setting: Make it a new paragraph whenever the setting is changed.

Time: Whenever there's a significant time change.

The Camera: Whenever the 'camera' moves, whenever there would be a change in scene for your story
