As Shifty made his way home and laid his brother down he was worried yet scared that Lifty is dead. He placed two fingers on his pulse it was barely beating, and then he placed an ear on his chest shocked to hear that Liftys heart was hardly beating. Shifty was scared as tears fell down from his face and put two hands on his chest and pressed up and down over and over to keep his heart stable. Shifty grunted and said as he cried, NO!! NO! NO LIFTY PLEASE NO! PLEASE LIVE LIFTY!! DON'T YOU DIE ON ME!! LIFTY DON'T DIE ON ME PLEASE!! PLEASE NO!!! PLEASE NO!!! PLEASE LIVE LIFTY YOUR ALL I GOT LEFT!! Then stopped to see Lifty not breathing and still cold. Shifty pulled the cover on Liftys waist and held him tight because he didn't want to let him go. Shifty cried as he held his little brother and said as he cried even more, Lifty....no....no please no not my brother. no no no no no.. Shifty was crying for fifteen minutes as he took his fedora off and placed it down. Then it happened Shifty felt a hand on his cheek and looked at his brother who's eyes are opened. Shifty grieved seeing his brother alive and Lifty whispered as he looked at his brother, did you think I die that easily? Shifty yelled as he hugged his brother, LIFTY! OH LIFTY GLAD YOU DIDN'T DIE ON ME BRO!!! Lifty felt soar yet happy that Shifty saved him but was beginning to hold on to his big brother comforting him. Shifty cried on his soar brothers shoulder as he said, hey it's okay Shifty it's okay. There, there. Shifty dried up his tears as he whispered, I'm just relieved that you didn't die little brother. After laying his head down Shifty fell asleep and Lifty petted his head and whispered, everything is okay Shifty everything is okay....thank you for saving me...I knew i can count on you...thank you...I love you...brother...
