//VERY IMPORTANT NOTE AT THE END, PLEASE READ//
@Yoshi5138 wanted more Tuffnut, so, I am happy to oblige!

Slight continuation of Tuffnut's date.

Tuffnut Thorston took to the sky on Barf and Belch. He sat on their back, relaxing in the breeze. His deadlocks waggled and waved in the wind. Tuffnut looked out and saw the sunset horizon.
"Alright you two," Tuffnut said, patting their back. "Tomorrow is the day."
Belch rumbled and nodded; while Barf rolled his eyes.
"Hey! I saw that!" Tuffnut reprimanded. "You be careful, mister!"
Bard and Belch lightly lowered themselves to the ground. Tuffnut jumped off, picking up the saddle bags. Inside were some planks of wood and nails. Tuffnut knelt down and got to work.

     "Hiccup! Hiccup!"
"In here Tuff!" Hiccup called. He stepped out with some clippers to see a frantic Tuffnut. "Ar-are you okay?"
"You have got to do something about that gate," Tuffnut wheezed. "No! I need your help, I need everyone's help!"
"Woah, okay, just slow down and tell us what you want," Astrid said, stepping out from the back.
"It's kind of an important day," Tuffnut started. "Kaddy and I have been going out for a few years. And so today, well, tonight really, I mean, you know. Night, a little more romantic and such."
"Tuffnut!" Astrid yelled.
"Focus," Hiccup interrupted, placing an arm around Astrid's waist.
"Well, I'm going to ask Kaddy to marry me," Tuffnut blurted out.
"Wow Tuff! Congrats!" Hiccup cheered. "Why do you need us?"
"Well, I wanted to build a gazebo, like with the lights and candles, the whole shebang." Tuffnut fiddled with his fingers.
"Oh great, what did you do?" Astrid read ahead.

     "Wow," Hiccup said.
A mismatched gazebo sat in front of them. The frame was all over the place, nailed in crisscrossing sections and the floor was the only correct thing.
     "Oh boy," Astrid said, facepalming.
Hiccup laid his hand on her back and walked forward to the gazebo. Toothless stuck his tongue out and wrinkled his nose. Hiccup knocked a bit on the frame work.
"Cedar," Hiccup muttered. "Not ideal for building, it burns to easily. You and Barf and Belch go get some oak from Gobber."
Tuffnut snapped and nodded. He jumped onto his dragon and sped off. Astrid watched him go, then turned to Hiccup.
"You know, I think Tuff's changed for the better," Astrid said with a shrug.
"So do I," Hiccup agreed.

"Done! All we need is to add the one stabilizer, oh, that's a three person job." Hiccup looked worriedly at Astrid.
"Hiccup, I'm not even really showing," Astrid groaned.
"But Gothi said not heavy loads," Hiccup countered.
"Hiccup! I've been following the directions for a few moths, please let me do this!" Astrid begged.
"But Astrid," Hiccup said sternly.
Astrid narrowed her eyes, a frown set in her face. She wrinkled her nose and scoffed. "Stormfly! Hold the wood for Hiccup please."
Hiccup smiled triumphantly. His first argument with Astrid that he won. He smiled as he and Tuffnut finished the gazebo, beautiful and sturdy.
Astrid forced Hiccup to at least let her set the candles up, wanting to do it for their friend. She sat the candles in a romantic pattern and varying the heights of them. Astrid has never seen Tuffnut to gentle. He carefully lit each one, making sure it lit the small flame.

"Keep you eyes closed," Tuffnut instructed.
He held Kaddy's shoulders, leading her on the path to the gazebo. He stopped in front of it.
"Keep those peepers shut, and step up, and one more," Tuffnut mumbled in her ear.
Kaddy giggled and smiled. She soon was brought to a halt. She felt the presence of Tuffnut leave her and she then felt his hands on the back of her head, untying the sash across her eyes. She opened then and her smile brightened.
Here she stood in a beautiful gazebo, candles ran around the rim and across the floor were rose petals. She smiled and turned when someone cleared their throat. She gasped a hand laid across her chest.
"Kaddy, I remember we said we were going to take a break, and we did, but I don't want to just ice passing glances anymore," Tuffnut admitted. "Ruffnut is finally happy for me and I want to be with you forever. So what say you?"
Kaddy just smiled. Her head bobbed up and down, nodding in joy. Tuffnut grinned and got up, slipping a thin silver band on her finger. He gave Kaddy a shy, but soft kiss. Kaddy broke apart and gazed into his eyes.
     "I love you Tuffnut Thorston."
     "I love you Kaddy Huliet."

Sorry all! I've been working on many other books. I have not grown out of HTTYD, I still absolutely obsess over it, but I'm afraid that I have been writing more OQ and modern day stories. So I will 100% keep this book going, but I probably won't update this one as much.
BUT! I'll still take ideas for one-shots. Honestly they help A TON!
Byeeeeeee!
