Toothless POV

When the morning light bounced to my dark scales (skin), I lift my arm to find (Y/N) still sleeping in my arms. I sighed sadly. We lost our whole race in just 12 hours. Not even a full on day.

As I was deep in my thoughts, I felt a shift in my arms. It was (Y/N) moving around. She must've woken up. She started to look at me and was confused. Then she started to walk towards my face sense it was laying on the ground. Just as she was a few steps away, I lift my head to her suprise. I don't like it when other dragons step on my face. The little lightfury started to walk towards my chest and started to nuzzle in it. I blushed lightly and gulp. Never have I ever felt this way before. Just as I was about to lightly push her away from me, a dragon appeared out of nowhere and landed right in front of me. (Y/N) stopped nuzzling me as she shook with fear as I held her close and growled lowly. 

"What do you want?" I asked harshly. The other dragon was a monstrous nightmare. Gosh I hate those guys. "What're you doing in our town?"

"What do you mean our town?!"

"This town belongs to us nightmares, groncoles, zipplebacks, and nadders. We don't need any night or lightfuries around here." Dragon racist. "Look buddy can't you see I was just trying to sleep with my-" Just before I could finished my sentence, a small rock was thrown towards his face. It hit him too. "WTH was that for?!"

"First of all that was a pebble so it's not that serious and second I didn't throw that." I looked to my feet and saw (Y/N) with a bunch of pebbles next to her. I tried hard not to smile. The nightmare wasn't hurt but it still was enough to piss him off. "Why that little-" "Honey please stop." A mysterious voice said.

Another monstrous nightmare came over and this time it was a girl. "Honey, look at him. He and his daughter are hurt." She's not my daughter, yet she acts like it. "And they must've traveled a long way. Please let them stay." The male looked at us for a good 10 seconds until he grunted and finally said. "Don't cause any trouble."

A few hours later, the female nightmare found us a cave to stay in for a few days. "BTW what's your name?" I asked. "Marie." 

"Well, thank you Marie, for everything."

"You're welcome." She said as she left the cave. Once she did I set (Y/N) aside and put her next to me. She looked at me again and this time, started to make a little cute noise. It was so cute I couldn't stop smiling and chuckling. This time it was my turn to nuzzle her. I moved my head towards her as I nuzzled her as she giggled and laughed. I smiled. "You know, you're pretty cute."  I said as she hugged me. Or hugged my chest sense she was so small. I wrapped my arms around her so she can feel my warmth. Eventually, she feel asleep again in my arms. I couldn't help but sleep with her. "Good night, my little lightfury."
