I climb into Austin's car and he drives towards my apartment.

On the way there I fell asleep. When I wake up in Austin's arms as he stops in front of the door to my apartment. He opens the door and takes me to my room. He places me on the bed.

I open my eyes. "Thank you, Austin."

He sits on the bed. "Will you go on a date with me tomorrow?"

I smile. "Sure," I yawn. "Goodnight, Austin."

I snuggle into the blankets.

He kisses my forehead. "I'll talk to you tomorrow about the date."

I hear the front door click as he leaves my place.

I pick up my keys from the counter and leave the house. I walk the fifteen minutes to the hospital.

When I enter the hospital I look for the nurses stations. I ask her for Nico's room and she shows me to the room.

The door creaks when the nurse opens it.

Nico and Colton look at the door and their faces are red.

Damn, I walked in on them kissing.

The nurse checks the charts and she says. "There's a young woman that wants to see you, Dominic. She doesn't need to see you making out with this young man."

Nico laughs. "Can you let her in?"

I walk into the room.

Nico's has a purple bruises around his eyes, on his cheek and there's a bandage on his head.

"Nico." My hand covers my mouth and tears fall.

Nico holds his arms out for me and I run to him. He pulls me into a hug and I lie my head on his chest. "Shhh, I'm alright." He pats my back.

Colton looks at us. "Excuse me," he walks out the door.

I stop crying and I look at him. "I have a date tonight with Austin."

He smiles. "That's great. Where is he taking you?"

I shrug. "What should I wear on this is date?"

"A dress with some heels."

My phone goes off.

Austin: Are you still up for the date?

Me: Yes, what are we doing?

Austin: Dinner and a movie?

Me: perfect, what time are you picking me up?

Austin: 5:00, movie starts at 6:30.

Me: see you then xxx

Nico looks at me. "Was that lover boy?" he makes kissing noises.

I hit him. "Settle down, Nico."

Colton walks into the room and he shakes his head, "I leave for a bit and you are already beating my boyfriend up."

I laugh. "He started it."

Colton shakes his head. "He likes to tease."

"I know. Nico, guess who's coming to town?"

He shakes his head. "Please, tell me?"

"Chase, my cousin."

Nico frowns. "Why?"

"He wants to get away from his father. He'll be staying with me until he finds a place."

Nico sighs. "I don't think him staying with you will be a good idea. Do you remember what happened last time he was town?"

Shit! I forgot.

*Flashback*

Chase walked into my house with a girl and they used by spare bedroom. That night the girl and Chase go into a fight and she came after me.

She threw me against the wall and I hit my head. "He doesn't want to see me because of you." She yells.

She kicked my stomach.

I scream. "STOP!"

She doesn't listen and keeps kicking.

Chase tries to pull her off me.

She hits him the face and he stumbles back.

After I blacked out I was told she kept kicking.

*End Flashback*

I don't want another girl to hurt me.

"I have to talk to Austin about my cousin." I look at my iPhone. "I have to go. I don't want to be late for my date."

Colton holds Nico's hand. "Who's your date tonight, princess?"

"I have a date with a handsome tanned man, with muscles, dark hair and dark eyes. What's his name?" I snap my fingers. "Oh, yeah. Your Best Friend Austin is my date."

Colton laughs. "Your being a smart arse now. I see why my Best Friend and Boyfriend find you appealing."

I touch my heart. "Does that mean we're friends?"

I kiss Nico on the cheek. "I'll see you later. Bye, Colton." I walk out the door.

I unlock the door to my apartment and step inside.

I turn the shower on and step inside. I stand under the warm water and enjoy the feeling of the water cascading over my body. I wash my body and step out. I wrap a towel around me and enter my bedroom.

I open the cupboard and look for something to wear on the date. I choose a simple black dress that finishes above the knees.

I lightly apply make-up and slip my feet into black flat shoes. I pick up my black handbag and put it next to the couch.

There's a knock on the door and I open it. "Hey, Austin. Come in. I'll be right back."

I run into my room and quickly apply lip gloss.

Austin looks up when I enter the room and I pick up my handbag. He takes my hand as we make our way down the steps to the car.

I climb into the red Mercedes Benz.

Austin pulls onto the road and he drives to the shopping centre.

At the shopping centre we look around the foot court for something to eat. I find a place that make chicken sandwiches and I order one.

Austin gets a burger and fries.

When the meals are done we find a table and sit. I unwrap my dinner and take a bite of the sandwich. I can taste the mayonnaise on it.

The mayo spills onto the table. I feel it drip off my chip. I put my dinner on the table and pick up a serviette and wipe my face.

Austin leans forward and he uses his thumb to scoop of the rest. He stick his thumb into his mouth. He doesn't take his eyes off my face.

I can feel my face heat up.

After dinner Austin takes my hand and we walk up the escalator to the cinema.

I drop my hand. "I need to pee." I leave him in the line while I look for the restroom. I find it up a set of stairs and down a corridor.

I do my business and wash my hands. I step out of the restroom.

When I get downstairs I see a girl talking to Austin. He looks around until his eyes land me. He waves at me.

I touch his shoulder and the girl scoffs. "What does she have that I don't?"

"I'm carrying his child. Is that enough of a reason?"

"You look like a cheap hooker."

I roll my eyes. "At least I'm not a whore that throws myself at any guy with a..." I grab Austin's groin. "... penis." I take Austin's hand. "Let's go."

Austin and I walk into the cinema. "Where do you want to sit?"

I look around. "At the back. We can make-out without ruining the movie for people here."

Austin and I climb the stairs to the back row.

I walk along the aisle and take a seat in the seat that it directly at the centre of the screen.

Austin leans forward and he kisses me softly at first.
