Morning.
The beautiful golden orb made its way over the distant horizon, bathing the world in its golden light as Sister Moon gave way to the Sun.

The Sun gently carressed a building in California, a house that held someone who's life would be forever different.

David opened his eyes with a small groan of protest as the Sun warmed his skin.

He rubbed his green eyes and sat up in his bed and looked around his room

A small black cat came into his room, mewling.

David gave a tired smile and reached down to pet the small black cat.

"You hungry, Peeps?" asked David as he got out of bed and stretched.

The cat, Peeps, meowed as though to reply and ran out of the room

He gave a gentle chuckle and quickly got dressed in his day clothes, a navy blue shirt with a wolf shadow on the front. He then threw on some jeans and went into the living room to see his roommate, Brittany, laying on the couch half asleep.

David rolled his eyes playfully. "Mornin" he said and went to get the cat food from the cabnet for his cat. He poured a bowl of it for Peeps and went to his room once more as Peeps ran forward and began to eat from the bowl.

He went straight to the open window and looked out onto the busy street below.

He smiled. Pretty day today, he thought. Would be a waist if I spent it all inside

That day, David was off work so he was free to do as he pleased.

He threw on a pair of shoes and combed his hair back before heading to the door. "I'll be back soon, Brit!" he said as he closed the door of his apartment

He headed down the flight of outside stairs and headed into the streets

David had his eyes on the clear skies, only a few clouds hung in the blue sheet of endless paper that lay above his home.

He made a gentle smile once more and listened to the noises.

"Sorry sorry! Excuse me please! Coming through!"

David looked in front of him and was taken by surprise when he felt someone collide with him and paper flew in all directions.

"Oh goodness!" it was a girl with a hoodie on, over her face. "I'm so sorry, sir" she scurried around to get the papers.

"Are you ok? Lemme help ya" David said as he went to help her pick up the papers.

Soon enough, the papers that were scattered were all picked up.

"My apologies sir.. I wasn't paying attention.. Ugh.. I'm so clumsy.. Stupid Clumsy Rose.." the girl muttered that last part.

David frowned. "No No.. Its alright.. I should have been watching where I was going"

The girl, David assumed her name was Rose, looked up at him with big, curious, Amber eyes. "Your-!" she jumped back with a hopeful smile on her face. "You match the description!" she reached forward and took his hand. "Your David! From the prophecy!"

David looked purely confused. "Prophecy? No.. No.. You got the wrong guy.." he said, pulling his hands back.

"But your him! I know it!" something twitched in her hood and her Brown hair moved a little, and her Amber eyes were pleading but hopeful.

David frowned as he saw a glimpse of something poking from her hair.

"Please! Just follow me and you'll get it! Please!" she was pleading now.

David sighed. He didnt want to reject the young girl; it was in his heart. He was a good spirited person that never let anyone down.

He sighed. "Fine.." he said.

Just as he said that, she grabbed his hand again and shot across the street and out of town and then towards a nearby forest, hand in hand.

Soon, they arrived in a clearing. It had a huge rock on the far side with a pool unnaturally clear water next to it.

There were also dens and a pile of caught animals in the center of the clearing. The clear part of the forest was surrounded by thorns and brambles, except for the entrance they had went through to enter this.. Camp.

"What is-" he turned to asked Rose but she was gone

Not far off, though, was a Brown wolf with Amber eyes, leading a large dark black wolf to him.

After a moment, the dark one spoke.

"David.. Welcome"
