Anika's POV--

Now it's 3:58 am and I'm still awake. Sleep is far away from me. I used to be a Sleepyhead but now I hardly get some sleep. Sitting on the swing on the balcony I looked at the sky and started getting some flashbacks which hurt me the most. I felt a hand over my shoulder. She is the only reason for my existence, My Gauri. She knows me better than myself. Sitting beside me she kept her head on my shoulder and hugged me lightly.

G: Di aren't you sleepy?

A: Ri you know na I don't feel sleepy. You leave all this and go to sleep. (caressing her face)

G: Till when you'll keep remembering him. You've changed yourself from that day di. I'm not too fond of this Anika di. (A tear drop falls from her eyes)

A: Ri now go and sleep we'll talk tomorrow about all this. (kissing her on the forehead) Good night.

I sent Ri to sleep but I know her very well that she is very upset with my behavior. I used to be a carefree bubbly girl but everything changed after that day. I started doing work on my laptop. As I finished my work I looked at the clock and now it's 7:00 am. I moved to the washroom and brushed my teeth. After taking a hot shower I came out wearing a white top with black pants.

Setting my hair in a ponytail I checked on Ri. She was sleeping peacefully. I didn't want to break her peaceful sleep so I didn't wake her up. I get down and tell Era Maasi not to wake up Gauri and to serve her breakfast when she gets up. I left for much office and as I moved inside my office everyone greeted me and some started their usual gossip about me. None of them likes me and I don't have any problem with it—my P. A Lia informed me about my meetings and schedule and I started doing my work. After some hours Ri called me to inform me that Om, his brother, and his dadi were coming to our house to talk about Ri and Om's marriage. Om and Ri have loved each other for the last 3 years. Om truly loves my Ri. I cut the call and left the office. I reached my house and went to my room. I found Ri sitting on the swing with a tense face. I know she is tense about all the arrangements as I'm the one to do all the things. I sat beside her and held her hand. I assured her everything would be fine and she nodded. I know Om and his dadi. His dadi is very sweet but I never met his brother. His name is Shivaay Singh Oberoi a successful business. I started making arrangements for their arrival with the help of Era Maasi. She has been staying with us since our childhood she is just like our family member. We are done with all the arrangements, I look at the clock and it's 5:00 pm. I went to our room and told Ri to get ready and  Now I'm just waiting for their arrival.
