Viraj entered his room and got surprised seeing it decorated. Janvi entered his room, he had his back towards her, she placed flower petals on his head and he gasped as they fell raining over him. He turned to see her and was shocked.

V~aap? Yahan hamare kamre mein?

J~ Viraj, tumhe aisa he lagta hai na ke hum bas sirf tumhare jazbaat ke saath khilwaar kar rahay hain? Toh ye saboot hai, ye sajawat, ye tohfe, ye sab saboot hain ke hamara pyaar sacha hai, ab toh tumhe yakeen hai na Viraj?

V~dekhiye aap hamare kamre mein aise nahi aa sakti, hum ne kaha tha na aap se…

J~ Viraj ab toh dekho tumhe saboot mil gaya na? Ab toh keh do ke tumhe bhi hum se pyaar hai?

V~jaiye hum ne kaha. Dekhiye aap rajkumari hain is ka matlab ye nahi ke aap hamare kamre mein aise ayengi, jaiye yahan se, chal jaye gi ye chhuri hum sach keh rahay hain maar dengay khud ko, jaiye warna hum aap mein aur un larkiyo’n mein koi farq nahi samjhengay jo ke jawaab mein na nahi leti.

Janvi stepped back eyeing him sadly.

She looked at the bandage tied on her hand by him, she was about to rip it off but then got tears in her eyes.

J~jab pyaar tha nahi toh jataya kiun? Itni fikr kiun dikhaai? Kiun khela humare jazbaat se? Kiun humari har zid maani? Kiun itna special treat kiya? Tum ne humare saare sapne tod diye pyaar ke.

She ripped off the bandage and threw it away.

Viraj couldn’t shake off the feeling of guilt and regret as he looked around the decorated room. He walked over to the window and stared out at the sky, feeling the weight of his actions settle upon him. Just then, he heard a faint knock on the door. It was Janvi. She had returned, and her eyes were red from crying.

Warna phir hum bhi saari zindagi toh intezaar karne se rahay. Dhalti umar ke saath saath khubsurti chali jaati hai, agar hum tumhari khaatir swyamvar ko taalte rahay na, toh jo kismat mein aana hai wo bhi nahi aye ga, tum se phir bhi shayad koi vivaah kar le par phir hum se koi vivaah nahi karay ga. Hum akele reh jayengay, maa baba ke khwaab ko tod nahi saktay, un ko humara vivaah karana hai humari aane wali peediyaa’n dekhni hain aur hum un ki khushi un se chheen nahi saktay. Samay de diya gaya hai tumhe, soch lena aur ek baar phir samajh lena, baaki agay hum aur kuchh nahi kahengay aakhir humari bhi koi self respect hai.

Viraj looked at her, and for the first time, he saw the depth of her pain. He saw the tears she had cried.

J~nahi Viraj, koi bahana nahi, waade ki toh hum waise he tum se umeed nahi rakhte, dosti pata nahi hai ke nahi, lekin ab bas humein tumhara jawab chahiye kal tak.

And with that, she turned and walked away, leaving Viraj to face the emptiness of his room, and the emptiness of his heart.

He stood there, frozen, as Janvi’s words hung in the air like a challenge. He felt the weight of his actions, the pain he had caused, and the love he had thrown away. He knew she was right; he had played with her emotions, toyed with her heart, and broken her trust. As he looked around the decorated room, he realized that all the grand gestures, the flowers, and the decorations meant nothing without the love and trust to back them up. He felt a pang of regret and guilt, knowing he had let his own fears and doubts dictate his actions. With a heavy heart, Viraj made his way to the door, intending to follow Janvi and make things right. But as he reached the hallway, he saw her walking away, her back straight, and her head held high. He knew she deserved better, and he wasn’t sure if he was worthy of her love anymore.
