When Muggle construction workers threatened to disturb the habitat of magical beasts in a forest that had not been properly protected with Muggle-Repelling Charms, witch environmental activist Winifred Whittle spread around the woods a series of Muggle Guards to keep them at bay. While doing so, she retrieved what she called a "toaster" — but was actually a blowtorch. When Ministry investigators Mathilda Grimblehawk and her partner told Whittle they had to return it to the Muggle construction workers, the witch replied "Well, take it if you must. I can go back to using Incendio".
