The next day had arrived. Error and Ink had woke to get ready for what the day would bring. School wasn't going today so the two decided to play the video game that E!papyrus had bought him. Ink and error took turns with no issue till they reached the boss character and then they thought of strategies.

Some of the ideas were actually really good and helped them quite a bit. Both were surprisingly skilled and would be formidable in a competitive event and eventually they took a break to get some food as they were getting slightly frustrated. They decided on pizza rolls as they were quick and easy. They enjoyed their food and simply chatted while doing so.

The two had fun and were more content now then they have been in a while and both e!papyrus and toriel could see it and were happy. What the two didn't know however is that e!papyrus and toriel had planned a giftmas party for them and for today  Toriel and Asgore were tolerating each other. Asgore got them gifts and stockings with their names on them and Toriel baked while e!papyrus prepared the table and tree at the dreemur residence.

Everything was going perfectly and soon enough it was time for the surprise. E!Papyrus rounded up the boys and led them to the living room and the expression on their faces was the happiest one yet.

Error's P.O.V:

When I saw all the decorations It was a bit overwhelmed as my parents never did anything like this. They simply got more drunk then usual and went after me and my brother. We rarely got away from them and the few times we were able to they were too drunk to relize we weren't there or they didn't remember.

It was only when my brother touched my hand that I realized I had started crying in happiness and relief as I hugged him saying "we can finally celebrate the holidays properly" "Can't we?" The answer I got was one I've always wanted to hear from my brother "As long as I'm able I and your friends will give you and Ink what you've both gone without I promise"
