"Hello Jay."

"What do you want Nadakhan?" Jay asks, annoyed.

Nadakhan teleports right in front of Jay, and slaps him. Jay gasps and stumbles back slightly. The rest of the sky pirates laugh. Nadakhan teleports Jay and himself into a room.

"W-what are you doing?" Jay asks, trying to hide his fear.

"Teaching you a lesson," Nadakhan replies, laughing.

He floats closer to Jay.

"Jay, wake up. Please wake up JayJay."

That wasn't right. Nya wasn't there.

"Please Jay, you're having a nightmare."

Jay slowly opens his eyes to see his beautiful, worried girlfriend hovering over him.

"Nya? Are you okay?" Jay sits up and pulls the covers up.

Nya immediately climbs into the bed next to him and cuddles into his side. "You were having a nightmare Jay. I couldn't wake you up."

"Oh I'm sorry," Jay pulls her closer to him.

"Would you like to talk about it?" Nya asks softly.

"I-it was when Nadakhan kidnapped me," Jay murmurs quietly.

"I'm sorry Jay," Nya rubs his arm gently.

"He tortured me," Jay murmurs.

"What?!" Nya half yells, her eyes filled with tears.

"No, no I'm sorry. Please don't cry," Jay pulls Nya onto his lap.

"D-did he torture you when he kidnapped you?" Nya asks.

Jay nods as tears start running down his cheeks.

"Oh Jay, I'm so sorry," Nya hugs Jay tightly.

Jay cries softly into Nya's shoulder, using her as a teddy bear.

"Shh, I'm sorry Jay. I'm so sorry."

"I-it's not your fault kitten."

Jay cries in Nya's shoulder for a few more minutes.

"Feeling better?" Nya asks.

"A-a little. Can we do a Toy Story marathon?"

"Sure," Nya giggles.

Jay carries Nya downstairs and they spend the rest of the night watching the Toy Story movies.

The following night
Nya whimpers as Nadakhan pushes her onto his bed.

"Jay!" Nya yells.

"Be quiet Delara," Nadakhan hisses, putting a sock in her mouth.

Nya gags as tears start streaming down her face.

"Nya! Get off her you monster!" Jay yells, sprinting in.

Nadakhan throws his sword at Jay. Jay, who didn't expect it, gasps as the sword gets impaled in his chest.

"JAY!" Nya yells, around the sock, as Jay falls to the floor, dead.

"Now that he's out of the way..."

"JAY!" Nya yells in her sleep, making Jay wake up.

"Nya?" Jay murmurs.

Nya whimpers and cries in her sleep. Jay jumps up and runs to her side.

"Nya, wake up honey, it's okay. I'm right here," Jay rubs her arm.

Nya shuffles in her sleep, kicking the blanket off. Nya is in a pair of thin pyjamas, some woolly socks that Jay had put on her feet before he went to sleep, clutching a blanket.

"Shh, it's okay Nya. I'm here," Jay says, starting to get worried.

Nya gags heavily, putting Jay on high alert. He gently picks her up, waking her up. Nya screams and fights to get out of Jay's arms. Jay sits her down on her bed.

"Hey, what's wrong kitten?" Jay reaches for Nya's hand.

To his surprise, Nya shuffles away from him. She curls up into a ball and sobs into her knees. 
"Nya, please talk to me. I'm here for you," Jay says gently.

"He-he-he..."

"Breathe, take your time," Jay says.

"He-he...he..."

Jay hushes her gently.

"He-he...killed you," Nya murmurs, sobbing.

"Oh baby, it's okay. I'm here, alive."

Nya looks over at him, with red puffy eyes which are leaking tears and tears running down her face like waterfalls. Jay feels his own eyes fill with tears from seeing his girlfriend looking so broken.

"It's okay. He's gone now. He's not coming back."

Nya wipes her eyes, which doesn't do much as new tears replace the ones she's just wiped away. Jay opens his arms. Nya hesitates before launching herself onto Jay's lap, sobbing.

"Shh, I've got you sweetie, I've got you."

Nya sobs extremely loudly as Jay pulls her as close as he can.

"Did he do anything else?"

Nya sobs even harder at Jay's question.

"I'll take that as a yes," Jay says in his head.

Nya grips Jay's shirt in one hand and the blanket in the other.

"I know you don't want to talk about it, but I want to help you. What did he do?"

Nya shivers harshly. Jay grabs her-wait-his hoodie from the floor and puts it on over her pyjamas. Nya immediately snuggles into it.

"He-he..."

"Shh, take your time, it's okay."

"He........assaulted me."

"He WHAT?!"

Nya jumps violently and climbs off Jay's lap. She runs to the far corner of the room, sinks to the floor and sobs into her knees.  Jay stands up and runs over to her, crouching down in front of her.

"Nya, I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry. I'm a horrible boyfriend."

Nya looks up before jumping on him, knocking him onto his back.

"I'm sorry Nya, I didn't mean to scare you," Jay sits up, sitting Nya on his lap.

"Y-you're...you're"

"Shh, take your time."

"You're...not a horrible boyfriend."

Jay smiles weakly, places Nya on the floor and stands up. He goes to pick her up but hesitates. "Is it okay if I pick you up?"

Nya nods, sobbing. Jay picks her up. She cuddles into him, sobbing into his chest.

"I've got you baby. I'm never letting you go," Jay whispers in her ear.

"R-really?"

"Of course. Please don't leave me."

"I-I would never. W-would you e-ever leave me?"

"What?! No of course not! I love you so, so much baby."

"I-I love you too."

Nya slowly drifts off, dry tears staying on her face.

"Sleep well sweetheart, I'll never, ever leave you."
