A purple Hypno stuck his head out from the bushes. A smirk was plastered all over his face.

Sneaky. He must be sneaky. Eyes on the prize. Nothing should interrupt his mission. He could be prosecuted for this, but he didn't care.

Prosecuted by who? The Hypno? The humans? Why not both.

He didn't care. He had to satisfy his want, his need to destroy the very humans who captured them just to hurt them without a care in battle.

Humming nearby was a little girl.

She's perfect! Perfect for me to kidnap! The shiny convinced himself.

He jumped out in front of her.

She jumped slightly.

She blinked, face smiling as if she was expecting a friendly face such as his.

She was wrong. He wasn't friendly.

The lush grass blew backwards, as if cowering away from the smirking Hypno—or perhaps bowing down to him in his greatness.

The Hyno smiled at her in his most friendliest smile—of course it was fake.

The little girl never noticed anything odd in the trustworthy Pokémon. She was excited to see him. It was as if he was an old friend.

The Hypno mutely pat her on the back, a wicked grin showing where the little girl couldn't see it.

The Hypno released his grip.

He moved his paw, indicating for her to come follow.

"You want me to...follow you?" She asked, confused. The Hypno nodded as a response and bounded back into the bush.

This was going to be fun.

It's going to be fun indeed, he thought with a smile as his hypnosis attack was prepared for the task that laid in the future.

For sometimes things aren't always as it seems...
