*The tape clicks as it starts to play. A female voice speaks from the other end.*

"Alright. I'm gonna start recording all of this so that I don't get caught unaware like I did last time...

Hello, anyone who finds this tape. I'm Addie. This is day one of my continued search, my search to find a ritual to fix this... this mess that I started. Hopefully I can be more careful and not get knocked out next time.

Gradient is one of my favorite OCs, in a sick, psychotic way. But he's getting to powerful to be held even in the Underground, which is, up to a point, near the captivity level of a prison for the dark parts of my mind.

It's weird. I have multiple god-tier OCs that seem just fine staying there. Gradient's just... not content under my control. He wants freedom, and I understand his wishes, but if he gets what he wants, gets the creator's pen that I keep in my possession...

I really don't wanna think about that possibility.

The good thing is, as long as I live, the pen won't let anyone else take use of it. It burns anyone that tries to touch it, even spirits and those who, supposedly, are unable to be harmed. Yet that's also the bad part, considering Gradient stops at no borders to get what he wants - especially if that border is murder.

I managed to regroup with Praxus once I was freed, who was a bit shaken but otherwise unharmed. I'm grateful he's willing to help, even after all he's been through. Xyan refuses to participate in anything relating to Gradient - I don't blame him - and Akhet wants to keep Aiko safe. It's just us.

I might know someone who can help, help all of us, but I'm not sure of her location right now... or her stability...

Anywho.

From what I could find, there's nothing in the house that I could use. Praxus managed to retrieve the Spiritbooks before he escaped, but Akhet claims that there may not be a solution there. Makes sense, honestly, since the First doesn't know the specific rituals of Limbo as far as I'm concerned. But we have to try. I'll be attempting to develop a new ritual to separate Arin and possibly get rid of Gradient entirely, but my past attempts have been failures.

I'll update this when I can.

Log end."

*the tape clicks and ends*

*suddenly it seems to sputter, a glitching sound emerging from it before the same voice, echoed by... someone else...*

"Ogn vajr des varozaxgo..."

*finally the tape ends*
