My plan is now a working motion. And no, it's not to ask Shannon out, it's to gain her trust. She has nobody to come to these days, so I just wanna help her out. I mean, I did have a crush on her that one time, but I'm sure it worn off. I just wanna help her out, in a friendly way, sort of.

I thought that I should take her out today, just as a little surprise. Her recommending the picnic fitted into my plan very well. I chosen a nice, secluded area on the beach. Well, it's a beach I've found a couple of years ago. I think she'd like it, honestly I don't know.

"This is such a nice place," Shannon said. "You must've putted a lot of thought into bringing me here, huh?"

"Yeah," I responded. "I knew you'd like some privacy, plus the beach is perfect for a picnic anyways. Lots of sunshine."

Oh shoot, I'm now having the urge to flirt with her. Rad, remember, she's not like any other girl. Shannon is special to you, in a friendly way. She really doesn't act like any other teenage girl, asides from her bratty attitude of course.

"Hey Shannon, do you need any help setting up the picnic blanket?" I asked her.

"No, you dummy, I'm perfectly fine." she responded back with that usual tsundere attitude of hers.

It's only been two days when it feels like she's lived with me forever. I honestly can't stand her going back to Boxmore and getting destroyed. I promised her that I wouldn't let that happen but, I can't prevent what's going to happen eventually. If her father finds out that she's living with me, or my parents wouldn't allow it, I guess me and her are running away, if she desires.

"Rad," Shannon said. "I really would like to stay with you forever, but my dad, he will find me and"

"Shannon, I promise I won't let that happen." I said.

"R-really?" she asked.

"I promise." I whispered into her nonexistent ear.
