18 years later

The Whole house was heavily decorated , The house helps were running here and there in a hurry to complete their work. Shivaay was doing his work in his laptop and Annika was wrapping things in a hurry. 

"May I come in" they heard a voice say and a smile came in both of their faces.

"Why are you asking this formally , Medical made my precious daughter go completely mad, Shivaay do something, Our baby Ani has gone completely mad" said Annika in a dramatic way , Ani and Shivaay chuckled to the words by Annika

"I am completely fine, Its fact that med school is driving me crazy but I'm passionate about it so I'm still sane and would stay sane for a long until Shivi teams up and drive my crazy" said Ani with a smile on her face , Shivaay and Annika chuckled to her words.

"You haven't visited us in a while , if today wasn't a special day you wouldn't have visited Anytime soon, Visit us often or you might end up forgetting us completely , you wont even remember how i look like" said Annika in a dramatic way and Shivaay was trying to control his laughter.

"I wont forget you both just like that , I do have a portrait of both of you in my bedside so I wont forget your faces, i had a lot of work that's why I didn't visit, Med school is hard as Hail" said Ani with a big sigh

"Your sister too forgot the way to here , Once in a while remember us and visit us , Your sister has turned into a complete workaholic and Shivaay isn't helping me in that filed , He is like that's good" said Annika with a sigh

"I saw Shivi  while coming in , I think she might have went to Visit him , I saw her walk in with a big suitcase which i am sure is filled with presents for him , Mumma you need to restrict her with Spoiling him with gifts" said Ani and Shivaay was trying to control his laughter

"Whenever you get a chance , you gossip against me and don't you realise that you're gossiping against me and him , who loves you so much and this is what you do for us, This is so sad" said Shivi walking in , the sound of her heels clicking while walking echoed around the room.

"I'm sorry I'm late , I thought to take the jet and fly here yesterday itself and Surprise him at midnight but i had work overnight with the Mehta's emergency so I took the jet and came here in the morning" said Shivi and hugged her parents.

"My hardworking daughter" said Shivaay and kissed her forehead

"See , this is what I said , Shivaay is the one who supports her Unhealthy Workaholic ways and label is with proudness and handwork , Am i the only sane one over here now" said Annika 

"By the way , He is calling all of us in the living room so lets go" asked Shivi and everyone nodded. Everyone went towards the Living room. Under the grand Chandelier stood him with a big smile on his face . He walked towards Ani and Ani walked towards him.

"Doctor Shivani Singh Oberoi , I am so proud of you and you are the sweetest , I missed you so much and I'm so happy that you are here , i thought you forgot me  , But I'm so Happy for you and your passion for being a doctor" said Him and they hugged each other

"I love both of you so much , I am not going to tell some cringe dialogues so don't worry about that , I'm so thankful that I have both of you as my parents , I'm a very lucky guy to have you all as family " said Him

"Love you Too Nick , happy eighteenth Birthday my son" said Annika , Both of them hugged Nick 

"Oye , I also exist over here and i really think you forgot me" said Shivi in a dramatic to make him laugh and he chuckled.

"My drama queen sister , The acting CEO of Oberoi group of Companies , The great Shivika Singh Oberoi, How can I ever forget my partner in crime , I expected you to reach here by midnight but no worries the new game set does the job" said Nick with A smile 

"Happy Birthday My kid Shivnik , I missed you so much and I miss doing stuff with you but i will be here with you for a while don't worry" said Shivi with a smile and hugged her younger brother tight

"I asked all of you to come here to get a Portrait taken of all of us" said Nick and everyone nodded

"I am still in my Work clothes , i kind of hopped in the jet as soon as my work got over" said Shivi and earned a stare from Annika , Shivaay got a small hit from Annika

"It works" said Nick

Everyone stood for the portrait , Shivaay and Annika was sitting in two throne like chairs . Shivi and Nick was sitting in hand rest of the chairs and Ani stood behind the chairs. After one picture , Nick went to check in.

"Ani and Mumma , you both look so perfect, Dad just brighten up your face a bit , Shivi" said Nick and paused , Shivi stared at him.

"Shivi this is a family portrait , not the photoshoot of the magazine cover of some next business edition so please don't keep that face like you are going to finish somebody" said Nick , Everyone else chuckled and Shivi rolled her eyes. Nick went back and posed.

"Perfect"........

It's been hella long time since I started writing this..
I'm low-key thinking of deleting the whole series after a while but thinking the effort I put into this pulls me back but still......
