[Y/N POV]

I was watching my apartment closely, I touched my clothes, the things I used before just to feel them.

Everything is the same as a year back.

Though it's completely unbelievable but I really got a chance to re-live.

I thought for some minutes recollecting the memories from the past, each and everything set on my mind and elaborating what'll happen next and the possibilities of how to change the future.

Exactly after one hour from now , I will get a call from my boss and he will assign me a task which would be a turning point in my life- but this time in a positive way.

With this motivation I planned further things still being a little emotional about the stuff which I've gone through. Nevertheless, I did my skincare routine and then ordered my breakfast.

"Exactly two minutes from now, my phone would ring." I said determined, glancing at my device.

Now's the exact time.

"Hello Y/n you there? Listen to me carefully this task is very important. " My boss that is the president of Hangang called to give me a certain order.

"I'm listening "

"A person, Kim Jisoo who is a major witness of our ongoing case is on the run. I've got information that she's hiding in a fan sign- A BTS Fan sign. Some people are following her, I don't want any controversy right now so, I want you to go and catch her for the testimony. You know this girl can change and flip the whole case on our side." He gave the details of the issue and handed the case to me. Afterall, I'm one of the most trusted lawyers of Hangang.

"I see . I'll do my best Sir." I said void of any emotions. It wasn't shocking for me because I already know what's going to happen so I'm prepared.

That girl will try to run away with her brother and they both end up getting killed by gangsters in broad daylight.

Yes that's true.

These ruthless people murdered the two innocents in my life and I could not do anything because of the lack of evidence previously and this incident made me feel extremely guilty to the point that I started hating myself for not being able to protect my clients, it truly was heart wrenching.

But this time it's not going to happen and I'm certain what to do next.

"Fine. I'm ready and I know what I have to do today. First let's get ready." I wore some casuals- a white full sleeves V neck bowknot top, tucked inside a pair of ripped light blue jeans. It was simple and I felt comfortable in it, though it's looking really plain.

Nevertheless, I'm working and I can't put on my usual office wear as I need to blend in with the people to not get suspicious.

Now comes the next step. I must inform her brother first who is waiting for Jisoo at the airport.

"Hello, is this Ms. Kim Jisoo's brother, Mr. Kim?" I enquired professionally.

The other side got silent for a minute but then he finally answered.

"Yes I am. But who is this?" His voice kind of frightened.

" I am Min Y/N, senior lawyer at Hangang Law Firm. I-"

He got panicked as soon as I introduced myself. I can guess, they must be suffering a lot because of these cruel people.

"Miss please don't trouble me and my sister anymore. I BEG YOU! We are not going to say anything for the case." He begged, raising his voice.

"Please let us live in peace! We are so done with constant ultimatums by YJN Entertainment and their hired people. They are after our lives! They warn us almost everyday , they have made our lives miserable! We are leaving this place and plan to never return back again. This-"

I closed my eyes to frame a good and sincere reply and opened them whilst cutting his words.

I know.

There is very less time, every minute, every second from now is like a warning to me and to others involved with me, unknown of anything.

"Sir. I totally understand your situation and I also know that you are being chased by YJN's men." I replied smoothly.

"How do you know?" Mr. Kim asked surprised.

"That's not important right now. What's important is your safety. Sir please trust me this one time I assure you, you will have a peaceful life again. Listen to me carefully, I've sent a person from my office to help you escape that place and he will bring you to my place. I have given your contact to him, he will call you. We have a lot to discuss." I said dodging his questions considering the limited time frame.

He again got silent, this time a bit longer. I know he's thinking what to do next but I also know they don't have any other choice after I've assured them.

"Miss I am trusting you because I don't have any other option left. Please don't play with my trust if you want to kill us then kill directly. It is better than deceiving." He said gloomily probably unsure of the fact that...

A ray of hope in their lives, not clear what'll it end them unto.

"I know it must be so difficult for you to trust anyone right now. But rest assured, I will help you out!" I said confidently trying to gain his trust.

"What about my sister? She did not reach the airport. I'm anxious about her." He asked worried.

I do not intend to worry him more by telling him about his sister, so I lied.

"Don't worry. I will safely take her to you. I am going at your place."

With this I cut the call and ordered my assistant to escort Mr. Kim.

I know what bomb is going to explode next. Finally I got the chance to see you smiling happily again... Jeon Jungkook.

Will you recognise me?

I thought uncertain and nervous of whatever is happening. Afterall, it's tough to reminisce the devastating memories which are swirling in my mind like a movie.

I still remember he looked the cutest,kindest and most handsome person ever that time. I remember he was playing with the kid of a fan. he looked so innocent and ethereal, I fell for him at that instant.

I am the kind of person who would never notice a person no matter how good looking they are, unless it's related to my work.

God knows what got into me, but this guy really makes me different. He has some invisible magic wand of charisma that attracts me like a magnet. I smiled a little remembering that time. At least , there are some good moments to cherish, some beautiful memories to engrave in my mind forever.

I drove in a hurry and reached the fan sign event. That girl will be here by now.

I was looking here and there in search of the Jisoo when someone ran between the crowd and by chance we collided with each other. She lost her balance and was about to fall but I pulled her up by holding her right hand. My ID fell on the ground in the meantime.

"I'm sorry" I apologized to her.

That's when I saw her clearly.

Wait... This is the girl. She will get panicked and create a scene if she recognises me! I must think of something. I hope she didn't recognise me.

She ran away frightened from there. Hey wait where is she going? She disappeared.

We have never met each other because this case was in the hands of junior lawyers but seeing that a big company is involved, boss gave this case in my hands.

Did she not recognise me? I thought to myself. She's lost in the crowd. This didn't happen in my previous life. Are some things new to me?! Still I'll do what I want to. I'm not surprised anymore with weird paranormal or whatsoever things happening with me. I'm slowly getting used to it.

I'll deal with this. I remember I was the last one to get a chance to meet them in my last life. But this time I need to catch her. Where's she? Maybe in restroom. I should check her.I turned my toes and walked real fast to check in the restroom.

She's not here too. She'll not get caught right now. The time of her death is 1 pm sharp. It's 12 now, I've an hour to turn the tables.

I glanced here and there to find her, but it appeared as if she vanished like a ghost. Somehow I finally saw her petite figure among a ton of pretty girls and the place where she was going, made me surprised.

"Oh my God! is she there?! Near the boys? Why? Looks like she already knew she's followed by someone so she's trying to make a security for herself by being near the boys." Smart kid indeed.

Well played girl! She's in front of Namjoon. Her smile is soo natural. Is she really the girl? I pondered for a second keenly observing her state.

Her hands are trembling and she is sweating. She's frightened. Yes she's the one! I can't forget her frightened face at all. I followed her . She glanced at me a couple of times all scared , as if she was begging me to leave her alone.

But I'm not here to hurt you.

I was standing just behind her. First RM ,then Jimin, then Jin ,then Suga, then Jhope, then Taehyung and finally... Jungkook

She's in front of him. I can see panic in her actions. She sure was scared.

"She's one of them. She'll kill me! These notorious monsters can do anything! Maybe I should create a scene, a big scene to prevent this. It is better to be imprisoned for a few days than to lose my life. I can't be caught. I DON'T WANT TO END UP LIKE SARA!" The awe stricken girl thought senselessly and anxiously planned to do anything that'll keep her away from the unknown woman following her.
