Prompt # 2 - 'The postal worker delivered your package to my place and I was expecting something so I didn't check the name before I opened it, and. . Wow that is um. . quite an interesting thing you bought an I'm here to return it.'

😳 😳 😳 😳 😳 😳 😳 😳

Nico's been really stressed out from work lately, and it's apparently showing. His friends constantly come up to him, asking if he's okay and to tell him to just chill out.

Nico knows they're probably right, but he's working for a much needed bonus and he can't just chill out right now thank you very much.

And it was only when Piper pulled him aside, talked to him about things he'd rather not talk about, when he relented.

"It's a great way to relieve stress," she said, "help you relax, you know? No one has to find out. Plus," she shrugged, a smirk forming, "it'll feel good."

And, honestly, Nico thought nothing could go wrong. Like Piper said, no one would have to know. Piper didn't even have to k know if Nico actually got one. And even if he did, it's not like he had to use it.

He bought it online, of course, there was no way he'd ever go to a store and buy one. He doesn't even know of any stores around that sold that sort of stuff.

But really, he never even considered a mix up with the mail. Especially not with his apartment neighbor, Will Solace, who was 100% out of his league and a total asshole for making everything he does look cute and fluffy or sexy and arousing (Once Nico said that by accident and Percy and Jason started laughing while Nico flushed, giving them his worse death threats he could think of).

Nico could have sworn that the mailman hated him though. Nico had a theory that Charon, the mailman, saw where the package was from and decided to purposely put it in the mailbox next to his.

Because there was really no fucking way the asshole couldn't have known which one was Nico's. He's been delivering his (and Will's, for that matter) for at least three years. Never once had he messed up on giving Nico the wrong mail, and he was certain he didn't for Will either.

But none the less, one Saturday evening, Will delivered an open package with an extraordinary shade of red on his face.

"I'm really sorry," he had said, "the postal worker delivered your package to my place and I was expecting something so I didn't check the name before I opened it, and. . Wow that is um. . quite an interesting thing you bought an I'm here to return it.''

And he held the box, not looking at Nico, and Nico could have sworn the his entire head was literally on fire.

He fucking despised Charon at that moment.

Nico hadn't realized he hadn't done anything until Will cleared his throat.

"Uh, are you going to. . Take it? Or?" He asked awkwardly. Nico took the box, tossing it on the floor in his apartment, then put his face in his hands.

"I'm sorry, my friend Piper told me to get one I'm really sorry-"

"It's okay," Will chuckled awkwardly, "it's normal, you know?"

"Yeah but it's still really embarrassing and gods I swear Charon hates me-"

"Nico," Will interrupted again, "really it's okay. An I'm sure he does doesn't hate you-"

"No he really does-"

"But, lets just pretend that this never happened, okay?"

"Yes," he finally looked up from his hands, his face still flushed crimson, "please let's just pretend this was just some really fucked up dream or something."

"Deal," Will chuckled.

When Will left, Nico threw the cursed item away, muttering about the wasted money.

Guys, I love you all so much an I've been terrible about my writing lately so sorry.

Also may be with out power for a few days because of hurricane Irma, but I have a little reading light so don't worry I'll be fine.
To any one else getting affected by the hurricane, stay safe, also to anyone near the fire near the west, I don't know to much about that but 👌🏻👍🏻 Mother Nature is a fucking bitch if we learned nothing from the Heros of Olympus.
